The house is beautifully decorated, open, airy and unique! Great back patio surrounded by dense greenery. Enjoy falling asleep to the coqui frogs singing! Gated property helps you feel extra safe and secure. Comfortable beds, gorgeous bathrooms and a great open kitchen/dining room/living.
Close to village stores and restaurants. We absolutely love this house and how close it is to the volcano park!! This was our second stay and it won’t be our last!
Great place to stay! The only thing that was a little confusing was the door number. It was listed as 601B. There was a 601 and 601A. 601 was correct but it took a bit to realize that 601 was actually 601B.
We really enjoyed our stay on the property. The ground floor was nice to walk out to the lawn and especially to stroll down to the edge to watch the sunsets using the 4 Tommy Bahama chairs provided. We also discovered the walk down to the shore in the concrete path exclusive to Pali Ke Kua residents which was perfect since the path to hideaway beach is closed for the next month. The shore is a mix of rocks and sand but we were able to get in the water and enjoy the beach and didn’t need the umbrella (also provided) since the trees are covering most of this stretch of shore. Overall it was not crowded and we had a relaxing time.The only challenge we had was check in. We needed to juggle our plans because they could not accommodate even a 1 hour early check in to at least drop our bags which meant we could not take advantage of the shuttle back south for a luau we had booked. This is not something we normally ask for and respect the need for cleaning crews to do their jobs but this was disappointing. Housekeeping teams are part of the experience too and should help guest experiences when possible too. We also had a couple small fumbles with the key code and the lockbox code but those were resolved very quickly with good communication and response times.We would stay here again for sure and were even considering if we should buy the unit since it is currently for sale. Great option for retirees.
Great unit and location for a family. Clean and matched the description. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
