Just came back from another wonderful stay in Maui. I believe that our decision to skip Kahana and try the Ma'alaea area was a very good one. You just can't beat the central location. A short drive to Kihei-Makena along with the same short drive for a day snorkling at Kaanapali Beach's Black Rock. With Costco so near, I cooked in the kitchen 5 out of 7 nights! It was equipped with everything I needed.
The HOA could use to replace the BBQ's, they are very slow, but other than that all was wonderful.
I HIGHLY recommend for a splurge, The Waterfront Restaurant, right next door.
Also, Aroma di Italia in Kihei was very good italian food...and from Italians, that is a good compliment!
We look forward to our return next year.

We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your place on Maui! Tina and I started our honeymoon here and were not disapointed. Your place is tastefully decorated, comfortable and well stocked. We appreciated that you had a few extras like a cooler, beach mats and lawn chairs for our daily trips. It was also very nice of you to take the time to patiently answer all of our many questions while we were planning our trip. The flat, wide screen TV's were a nice touch also, but I have to admit that we didn't use them too much, since we were always off exploring the island! The central location made our many sight seeing trips easier also.

We were a bit concerned when we had read reports of the area being very breezy, but we found the breeze to be very comfortable and slept each night with the windows open! Ahh, how relaxing! Waking up to the sunrise view was also a plus!

We hope to visit again in the coming years, maybe for an anniversary.

We returned last week from a magical trip to Maui with our grandchildren. They had never traveled, and our goal was to expose them to the joys of other places, cultures, etc. After a cancelled flight, and spending the first night in Oakland, CA, we were more than delighted to arrive at your beautiful condo. It was dark when we got there, so we could only see the lovely furnishings, and enjoy the sound of the waves through the open windows and door. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathrooms spacious. The kitchen had everything we could possibly ask for, and we put it to good use. Waking early the next morning, we found all the grandkids out on the veranda, watching the sea and talking in hushed tones. What a perfect experience for their travel initiation. They are hooked now! It was such a different experience from staying in Keihi, with the traffic noise and crowds. The beauty of the surroundings, as well as the nicest accomodations we have ever experienced in our travels, will absolutely bring us back again. We appreciate all of the correspondence with you Tom, and your helpful suggestions.

This was our tenth time to the Hawaiian Islands and our fourth time at Maalaea Kai. It was our first time in this particular condo and, I have to say, by far the best facility. The condo is beautifully decorated, well equipped and the view is spectacular. It is centrally located to all of the attractions and activities, yet secluded and quiet if you want to just relax. The grounds are immaculate with a pool and BBQ facilities.

It was the first time to the Hawaiian Islands for our neighbors and it was so much fun to see their reaction to the Islands and to this condo. First impressions are everything and there is no doubt in my mind this condo made a great first impression.

We have never experienced an owner who was so involved in the management of their property and who take an active interest in their guests; we have enjoyed our interactions with them. They were very accommodating.

Our intentions are to return often.

This was our first trip (but not our last) to the Hawaiian Islands, we had a terrific time. The condo was beautiful. It had everything you could possibility want or need and then some. The view was breath taking and the whale watching was awesome. What a great place to stay, can't wait to go back.
