This unit worked well for us; grandma (payer) occupied front bedroom with king bed, and daughter, husband, kids 6 & 8 stayed in room with bunks (tight, but we weren’t in the unit that much). Living area is small but feels larger with master bedroom doors open (and we used the lanai a lot). The space could have been used better with an extra LR chair and dispensing with the 2 bar chairs. There are 3 TV’s so kids & adults could be happy (great idea!). We liked the 2nd floor location-easy walk up and near the parking area. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. One thing we were told by permanent residents upon arrival was not to swim in the waters in front (tiger sharks) and we noticed no one did (so we didn’t either). We drove down to public beaches near the fancy hotels. We liked the location in Kihei though.
Unit was clean upon arrival and reasonably stocked with basic cookware. It is not luxurious but met our needs well. Bill for 5 nights-mid March-including taxes came to about $600 p/night.
We would stay there again.
