My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved our time at #308! We’ve been raving to our friends and family about how cute the condo was and the nice location. Here are a few highlights.
– Upon arrival, the condo was very clean and included day to day items like shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, sun screen, plenty of bath towels, etc. Everything that is listed in the description is there such as kitchen and entertainment itmes.
– The owners have 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, boogie boards, flippers, and a cooler in the closet. This was so convenient and nice to be able to use.
– The condo is right on the beach! Loved this aspect!
– The beach is long (great for walks) and was not very crowded.
– The condo is within walking distance to a farmer’s market, ABC store, a bakery, shaved ice store, and boutique. We woke up early multiple mornings and walked along the beach to the farmer’s market and the shops. It took us about 10 minutes to get there.
– We actually did not try out the pool or hot tub, but the facilities looked really nice. The pool had a schedule time for water aerobics and swimming laps early in the morning.
– We ended up really enjoying Kihea! We ate at the Kihea Cafe (so good!!! Make sure to get the blended coffee drinks!) and Ohana (The crab cake appetizers were delicious) and relaxed at some of the beaches. We traveled to other towns in Maui and didn’t feel like our drives from Kihea to the other places were too long.
– Everyone at Sugar Beach Resort was friendly and helpful.
– Jim and Toni were so sweet and hospitable! They left us a honeymoon package full of goodies!!!
It does get a bit windy during the afternoons, so just keep that in mind. Great place, wonderful time, and would love to come back and stay here again!
