We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. We had a rough start as we initially booked this house through a previous owner. The reservation was cancelled a couple weeks before we traveled due to a change in ownership, leaving us scrambling with little options for rebooking. I eventually found the same house listed under the new ownership and booked it again. This experience left us uncertain what to expect next. However, upon arrival, the house exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully constructed, on peaceful land with choruses of coqui frogs (invasive, but very cute and wonderful to listen to at night) and chameleons (amazing!). The company that owns it now was very responsive and the place was well stocked and clean. Definitely stock up on groceries in Hilo, as the local stores have less options, though one has two friendly cats. Proximity to the park is excellent. We highly recommend this Airbnb!
