My wife and I kept reading reviews of this space that said “the pictures don’t do it justice,” and they were right! You’re as ocean-front as you can get here (beach access not available from your doorstep, you take a short trail down from the parking lot). It’s absolutely gorgeous here! We enjoyed many sunrises and the sound of waves breaking throughout our stay. The space is perfect for two, and the high ceilings make it feel much more spacious. Plenty of useful kitchen amenities, and the washer/dryer units were very helpful.
The rental is now managed by Vacasa, and they notified us that we had to be relocated for the first two nights of our stay due to fumigation. We were really displeased to be removed from this Sealodge unit, especially because we had to pack/repack/move luggage and groceries from another temporary rental – but we understand the fumigation of the entire building was likely not of their control. Also, be aware that this unit is 3 sets of stairs up above two other units without any elevator access. You’ll have to lug your bags up a lot of steps. Lastly, there is minor neighbor noise due to living proximity. We could hear some footsteps and closing of doors beneath us but could not hear voices of casual chatter through the walls.
We will definitely be staying here again if and when we return to Princeville!
