My wife and I had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful house and it did not disappoint. The owner, Carolyn, and caretaker, Melissa, have done a tremendous job with this place. This was our first trip to the Big Island and this spot in Pahoa put us near to Hilo for many great activities but still secluded enough to enjoy our time relaxing as well.
We had no difficulties finding the house and Melissa was connected with us throughout the journey and even provided us a great little spot, Kaleo’s, for dinner one night. The home is in excellent condition and the view is spectacular to wake up to, lay out next to, or fall asleep staring at and listening to the waves. The home also has many things you’ll need already and we were pleasantly surprised with the beach gear for our trip to one of the great area beaches over the weekend.
I’d speak highly of this property over and over again and would recommend it to anyone. We know this property will be on our list if we return to the beautiful Big Island some day in the future.
