On June 5th of this year, my fiance and I were married on the beautiful beach of Kapalua. Because it was a) our wedding and b) my fiance’s first trip to Maui (my 4th to Maui, 3rd at the Maui Eldorado itself), I wanted something extra special.
At first the price made me step back….after all we had a reception back home to think about too. But going in June, with the rate being so good, I just couldn’t pass it up. I booked it and I will NEVER regret that. We had the best time in that condo. It was fully stocked and we could barely want for anything (except maybe our food and some lovely wine of course). It was beautiful, and the management company was extremely generous – offering themselves via phone whenever we needed them, and even extending our check time at out last minute – it was truly amazing.
I say don’t hesitate – choose this condo! I will again as soon as I come back.
We left our new beach chairs there for others to enjoy, as well as some glasses (we had our family over for dinner and were worried about breaking the owner’s glasses -now they have a ton!). We also left our fins since we decided to get even better ones for next time (we LOVE snorkeling).
The screen on the back door was slightly separating from the frame when we got there, so we were careful not to use it and close the glass doors instead (the screen was not broken and no animals or insects could get in, but we didn’t want to make it worse). Then again, screens on consistently used doors do end up eventually getting frayed so I’m sure they will replace it when and if it does.
Sometimes little insects like to come and visit – it is a ground floor – but as long as your doors are closed, you are good! And if not, the on-site vaccum can help you with that. 🙂
Loved it, loved it, loved it. Can’t wait to go again and stay there. The view is unbeatable.
