We got great check-in instructions from the management company, and arrived at a super-clean and well maintained property. They are offering early check-in/late check-out if possible.
The main room is super large, with spacious kitchen, dining area (seats 6), and large lounge/couch area. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates/glasses/bowls and everything needed for cooking (unlike many rentals that have only a minimum set of plates).
The master bedroom suite was very large, and the 2nd bedroom has two separate single beds. We noticed a fold-out mattress in the closet.
The best part is the large outside patio/lanai – great views with coast, water, and mountains. It had a big table so we had breakfast on it every morning. The area is very quiet with tons of birds chirping.
Everything was meticulously clean. Floors in main room are tiled and guests are asked to leave shoes outside.
There is along-term renter living downstairs but we never heard anything.
Parking was easy for 1 car – there space for 2 cars, but it may get difficult to maneuver these with the narrow driveway.
The village has a community pool about half a mile away – note that it’s closed for renovations since December 15th 2019. The mini-mall about a mile way has a great supermarket and a few restaurants/coffee-shop.
We loved it for our family – especially the lanai, and the great location. It’s quick to get into Kona town or the Waikoloa resort area, and easy to drive towards the North or East for exploring the island.
