Pono Kai is one of the older resorts on the island. As such, you might find some of it a bit dated. What is not dated is a larger beach front, a complex close to the town of Kapaa and a closer view of the ocean than the newer complexes.
B208 is well maintained with a view that is just wonderful. As you sit on the lanai you can watch for the boats coming in and out of the harbor or get up early and start your day with the best view of the sunrise you can imagine.
