I traveled to Kauai with my best friend and her husband to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We liked Villa #33 because it was a stand alone unit and it felt private. It is the best unit among the Hanalei Bay Villas. The view from the deck off of the living room is unobstructed. We traveled during the last week of April, after the floods. One morning we counted 6 waterfalls on the mountains in the distance. At the front of the villa, there are no other houses. Across the road from driveway is a small park and the Pacific ocean below the cliff. The park was an exceptional place to take in the sunset every night. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and cozy. We everything we needed at the villa. With the exception of the occasional rooster crow, it was quiet day and night. Villa #33 is a lovely home, beautifully decorated and I am so grateful the owner allowed us to stay. I have already recommended this villa to friends and family and would love to return.
