I am going to the Big Island since 10 years now and this was the fifth time I stayed in a rental house in the Haiwaii Paradise Park. In the 10 years I am going there not much has changed, it’s still the laid back ,non touristy part of the Island. The house we stayed this time was spot clean, a very big functional kitchen with everything you need. The veranda around the house is right at the ocean and I live sleeping to the sound of the waves. We barbecued every night, good service that the gas bottle for the barbecue got changed within hours after we called. Actual the only thing we missed in the house was an umbrella. It rains a lot on the Hilo side, so you need one .
