My husband, our adult daughter and I just returned from two weeks at this wonderful condominium. It’s hard to be home after enjoying this condo’s exceptional amenities, and perfect location with fantastic weather (no matter what the weather was like anywhere else on the Big Island, Waikoloa was always sunny – although it could get windy!). The unit is very bright and airy, with vaulted ceilings, overhead fans in the bedrooms and living area and a gorgeous view, looking out over the golf green to the lava field and Mauna Kea in the distance. The owner has thought of every requirement, from beach gear to quality bedding to kitchen utensils. The decor of the unit is lovely – light natural wood, with attractive tropical-themed details. There is very comfortable seating in the living and dining room, and additional bar seating at the kitchen counter and a glass table and chairs on the lanai. The two bedrooms are large and offered plenty of closet space (the master has a walk-in closet off the ensuite – sweet!). The well-equipped kitchen and access to excellent bbq facilities made home-cooking a breeze – along with fantastic local meats and fish we enjoyed well-priced fresh Ahi from the nearby Costco along with fruits, vegetables and treats bought at one of the many farmers’ markets. The location is truly a highlight – we could walk to markets and shopping, a gorgeous beach (Anaehoomalu Bay – A-Bay!) and a variety of restaurants and take-out places. We have stayed in many different VRBO rentals, and this one will be remembered by all of us as one of the nicest!
