We stayed here for 15 nights in the beginning of October to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This lovely aloha style condo had everything we needed, including light bulbs when one lamp burned out! The location of the Maui Eldorado is perfect for people seeking a quiet Kaanapali Beach experience, yet within easy walking distance to the hotel strip and Whaler’s Village. We love to spend a good part of our day walking and can walk into Lahaina along the waterfront in about an hour easy stroll, viewing beautiful park and lots of sea turtles along the way. Alternatively, Maui Bus, taxis and Uber are all very affordable to get to/from this vibrant town. Nice to have a Whalers Store 2 minutes’ walk away, as well a great Mexican restaurant with great happy hour, Chinese restaurant, pizza restaurant, deli/bakery for breakfast and another great breakfast lunch place, snorkel rental shop. This area has it all! The views of the sunset and sunrise from the Lanai are stunning. The big pool was being renovated during our stay, but we did sit by the small pool near the unit when it was a very windy day. Also handy to have a communal BBQ beside the pool which is kept immaculacy clean as are all areas of the resort. In my opinion the beach cabana is the seller on this place. All the conveniences so that you can bring and cook you own meals right on the beach. The cabana staff are extremely and friendly, and you can enjoy the day lounging in the cabana or borrow beach chairs and sit right on the sand under a shady tree if you like. I would agree with another reviewer it would be nice to have a fan/light on the lanai. Can you tell I love this place and would stay again as well as recommend to my friends, although if you need privacy it is best for 2 people as this is a studio suite with the king bed right in the living space and the second bed a pull-out couch.
The property manager Kaanapali Beach Rentals were very friendly and helpful.
