Just came back from another wonderful stay in Maui. I believe that our decision to skip Kahana and try the Ma’alaea area was a very good one. You just can’t beat the central location. A short drive to Kihei-Makena along with the same short drive for a day snorkling at Kaanapali Beach’s Black Rock. With Costco so near, I cooked in the kitchen 5 out of 7 nights! It was equipped with everything I needed.
The HOA could use to replace the BBQ’s, they are very slow, but other than that all was wonderful.
I HIGHLY recommend for a splurge, The Waterfront Restaurant, right next door.
Also, Aroma di Italia in Kihei was very good italian food…and from Italians, that is a good compliment!
We look forward to our return next year.
