We really enjoyed our stay here! During previous visits to Hawaii we’ve booked hotels on the beach and the four of us have shared one room. Now that the kids are older we’ve decided we want more space; so instead of being right on a beach we’ve committed to driving to a beach each morning during our stay.
This place worked great for that strategy; and it’s so close to the pool/jacuzzi that it was easy to get in some pool time after a day of touring.
It should be noted that it is NOT easy to walk to a beach from this unit. In fact, there is not that much near the unit, period; so going for a walk, say after dinner, is not all that attractive. There IS a grocery store and mall nearby, maybe a five minute drive, so that was great.
