The house is a complete gem. Beautiful, spacious, well designed architecture and layout. Lovely furnishings and decor (some Asian inspired). The lanai and yard are beautiful and so peaceful. We felt like we were in the womb of the forest! No bugs whatsever, but birds, and nightly sounds of frogs. The owners have been very thoughtful in many details. Lighting, kitchen supplies, linen cupbards well stocked, etc. Everything so clean, organized and comfortable. We loved the feeling of utter peace and isolation, and loved being an 8 min drive into Volcanoes National Park. And a few minutes’ to the several restaurants and basic shops in the ‘village’. The key pad code to enter the house was not working, but the Vacasa people answered the help line quickly and talked me through how to get into the lockbox for a key.
