We visit Maui almost every winter with our daughter and always stay at the Kaanapali Royal properties. We love being able to make our own food/grill and relax away from most of the people down in the hotels. We also love how quiet the property is and how easy it is to walk down to the beach for sunrise and sunset and then be poolside again after a short walk. Our daughter loves the pool and jacuzzi, the lizards around the property, the frogs at night and everything in between. Super easy to walk down to Whaler’s Village for shopping needs/restaurants/sunsets or just window shopping, easy to get to the little strip mall just outside the property for the convenience store, shave ice, snorkel gear, etc. and a quick downhill walk to Black Rock for sunrise, whale watching and beach time. We love how the condo has just about everything we need to feel at home, including being able to use a washer and dryer! Great stay all around
