We rented this house for 3 months last winter in order to have our baby on the big island. It was the perfect place to rest up before our baby’s arrival and to welcome her home to. The house is comfortable, well equipped and nicely put together. The owner has good taste and it is nicely decorated. The house has a large upstairs bedroom that provides for a lot of privacy and the two downstairs bedrooms are comfortable also. The kitchen has everything you could want – and there is a bbq on the back deck. The front porch doors are accordion doors that you can open all the way to have a beautiful view of Kealakekua Bay – it feels like you’re at the beach in your own living room. We rented the house for a return vacation this summer and it has proven to be just as comfortable and charming as our first visit. The house is a 1 minute walk to the lovely Manini Beach where there is great snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy! I would highly recommend this house to anyone.
