Our stay in unit 33 more than lived up to our expectations. We chose it for it’s location, as well as features of this unit in particular which appealed to us: tasteful and comfortable home decor and furnishings, no wall to wall carpets, and lovely views. The bed was amongst the most comfortable we have ever slept in, the unit was clean, and peacefully quiet. You can expect to hear roosters crowing, as you will pretty much everywhere on the island, but we did not find that disturbed our sleep, and in fact enjoyed waking up to that along with the sounds of various songbirds. Having spent our first week in Poipu on the south side, our second week in the north at Hanalei Bay Villas was by far our favourite, and should we return to Kaua’i we will definitely book this same unit again.
