The home is comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The kitchen is spacious with no shortage of amenities. Airflow is good, beds are comfortable and internet and cell service is reliable. The wrap around deck facing the ocean is a wonderful place to spend time and there is always some shade on the north side if you want to limit sun exposure while still being outside. There is no shortage of wooden deck furniture however we found it hard and a little uncomfortable. When at the home we spent most of our time on the deck including eating meals so this was a little disappointing. Perhaps a couple padded lounge chairs would be beneficial.
Carolyn and Mellisa are helpful and quick to respond to any questions and the neighbours are friendly. This area is lush, green and beautiful due to plentiful rainfall. For our vacation we found staying on the Kona side in combination with this location made for a nice blend of sun/beaches with rainforest and tranquility the east side offers.
The only amenity missing is a BBQ for grilling. The deck flooring is tiled (looks like wood) and has a generous roof overhang for rain protection and is an ideal location for grilling. I envision most people would cook at home here as we did so this would be a welcome addition to oven and stovetop cooking.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It felt like home away from home for us and we would highly recommend staying here.
