Can’t wait to go back! I was greeted by Melissa, the caretaker, and given a tour of the house. She was a wealth of information regarding local activities and restaurants to visit. Carolyn, the owner, provided a nice array of local fruits. The owner was very helpful throughout the reservation process and was quick to respond. The house is beautiful and nicely furnished with leather furniture in the living room, teak wood furniture on the lanai, modern kitchen appliances and equipment–with granite countertops. The oceanfront view was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast on the lanai was a special treat. Much of the artwork was created by Melissa. After a day visiting black sand beaches, and tea farms it was fun to come home to DVDs and board games, and to once again watch the wave action at night with the flood lights. I highly recommend this house and it’s amenities to others. I visit Hawaii often and I discovered that I really enjoy the east side. I am already booked for a return trip in March.
