We had a wonderful stay on the big island. The house is overlooking the ocean and we loved watching and hearing the waves crash on the rocks. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, and kitchen had nice appliances and accessories for cooking meals at home. Service and wifi could be spotty around the house but also in other places around the island. Not a huge deal for us since we stayed pretty busy enjoying the island and the views. Melissa the caretaker has great energy and is super friendly and helpful getting you settled in. The close town of Pahoa is small and charming. It has a couple small grocery stores and restaurants. We loved Pelé’s for breakfast, fresh and home made food.
Would certainly stay again!
