The view is amazing, we spent most of our time on the lanai where there was a cool on-shore breeze all day. There were only two of us so we had plenty of room. The kitchen had all of the equipment needed and there were some condiments and spices already there so we didn’t need to purchase them. The bedrooms were a bit toasty since they were at the back of the house. We used the ceiling fans and portable fans to help with that. When we returned after being out all day, the house was very hot, BUT once the windows and sliding doors were opened, the front room and kitchen cooled off in under 5 minutes! That’s how awesome the breeze was. A car is needed since the house is about 10 minutes to the nearest store. It is about 20-30 minutes from Hilo. Loved hearing the frogs at night and birds in the morning!
