I was very pleasantly surprised to arrive and see the Anini Ohana Hale home. I was greeted with a vase of beautiful flowers and a note from my host welcoming me. I had booked last minute and wasn’t able to access the ‘reviews., which made me a little nervous. I’d stayed on Anini many times in the past but up the road and in a much larger place. I love Anini, the quit, the reef, snorkeling, and mostly the fishing. I was there to fish and came by myself. Conveniently, the beach access was at the end of the drive. The ONLY bummer was there were ‘historic’ rains on the North Shore that did extensive damage to the roads above Hanalei and the roads North were inaccessible. The home was very clean. The back yard canopy of trees was amazing, the lower canopy was no less amazing and the palm trees were beautiful. As with a lot of Hawaii, there were flowers blooming throughout the back yard. I just wished there was ground cover of some sort, like grass, instead of native soils. I love my tea in the morning with the sounds of multiple happy birds singing. I thought I was in an aviary, although, could have done without the roosters, but then, it wouldn’t have been Kauai. The floorplan was just fine for me, a single person. It might have been a different story is it had been two couples since the second bedroom was just off the kitchen. We would have had to ‘settle’ on who got the main bedroom. I did love the master bathroom. Loved the walk in shower with open windows. Every night there was a breeze and the sounds of the ocean were GREAT for sleeping. The advance communication with Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty was great. Their packet had answered any question I might have had before I needed to ask. They left multiple phone contact info should a need arise. I did have question initially and the answered my voicemail promptly, both times. I would return to this unit and rent from Bali Hai Realty again in a heartbeat. I gave the home and the experience a 5 star rating. Mahalo M
