We loved this condo! When we parked we weren’t sure what it would be like as the building is right off a main road and its a bit dated. Couldn’t have been happier!!! 211 is far enough from the road that you literally heard only the ocean from the kitchen/Living room/lanai. We loved the decor. We loved the cleanliness!! It was so well stocked with everything we needed. We vacation ALOT and Vacasa is always a notch above the rest. The detail put into their homes is so tasteful. Our vacation went by way to fast. I have never re-booked any location as I really enjoy seeing/finding new places. This is the first condo that I would strongly consider booking again.
We didn’t have to use the A/C at all. We opened the slider onto the lanai and opened the bedroom windows/front door slats/ and the cross breeze was enough to keep it comfortable. At night we used a fan. The pool on the property isn’t fancy but kept very clean and comfortable temperature. The rental came with chairs/cooler/umbrella. All the necessities for ocean play.
The ONLY drawback is that the bedroom is facing the parking lot/street and there was lot of street noise through the night. We solved that problem by sleeping in the living room!! 😉 Sleeping to the ocean sounds is a dream come true.
The location is GREAT for ease of going to Poipu or Princeville. Kapa’a is right in the middle of both. We found it easy to explore both ends of the island with really reasonable travel times to both.
Our favorite snorkeling beaches were Anini, Lydgate, Lawai. Lots of others that were great for play and fun.
MUST do is Waimea Canyon. Hiked Sleeping Giant. Boat ride up Fern Grotto.
