Location, Location, Location – The only thing that would have made this house better in my opinion would be air conditioning. I was under the impression that several rooms had AC, but it was only the studio that had outdoor access. The home was very uncomfortable during the day in July. Luckily, we found ourselves out and about most days. The evening cooled off enough to sleep comfortably.
Enough complaining, this place is magnificent, I have been home one day and already miss the ocean waves crashing on the shore. Not sure how I will ever sleep well again without them it was hypnotic. The home has 3 bedrooms with king beds and the studio with king bed and two twin beds in a room with curtains which is perfect for 2 kids. There is also the loft which was my room this is also the hottest part of the house, but the views and the private deck made it worth it to me. if I travel with a large party to Koloa again, I will try and get this home.
Our two weeks here included a lot of short walks to Poipu beach. Early morning and sunsets walks were worth the trip all by themselves. I highly recommend Koloa zip lines, and Island Helicopters. The Jurassic Landing tour was amazing and more than I expected. Our fishing trip was on rough waters so you don’t want my opinion on that (lol). Aloha and Mahalo to Vacasa for providing this home!
