Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Sugar Beach Resort sits between the easygoing coast of North Kihei and Maalaea’s activity hub. Walk the beach in the morning, visit Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge for a slower nature break, or head to Maalaea Harbor for an ocean trip and the Maui Ocean Center. South Kihei brings more choices for groceries, coffee, and casual meals, plus the family-friendly beach-park atmosphere at Kamaole Beach Park III. The location makes it easy to balance beach time with a few memorable outings.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

The lanai is the perfect place to entertain your dinner guests with very comfortable furniture and impressive views.

Inside, you will find a fully air-conditioned, bright, and spacious living area with all new comfy high-end furnishings and lots of natural light. Your condo includes large screen smart TVs in both the living room and the bedroom. High-speed internet free WiFi and an enhanced TV sports package make it the perfect fit for movie lovers and sports enthusiasts alike. You will want to take advantage of the fully updated kitchen with all new higher-end appliances to prepare your favorite meal. With your relaxation and comfort in mind, the recently finished (July 2022) renovation included a complete kitchen remodel with all new cabinets, countertops, and appliances.

This turned out to be the perfect place for my husband and I to relax, enjoy the beach and sit on the balcony for our morning breakfast. Everything was so convenient and close by. The unit we stayed in was delightful. It had everything we expected to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was nice being in unit 203. So delightfully decorated and upgraded down to the very last detail. We have no complaints whatsoever. It was wonderful! Great place to stay!

Our stay in unit 203 was great!!! Sugar Beach Resort location is very centrally located for exploring the island. The pool was great and having the beach just steps away to watch the sunrise or sunset was amazing!
We did have some initial issues with the washing machine the first couple days and I would definitely recommend more paper towels and toilet paper be put in the unit but otherwise fabulous!

We needed a last minute accommodation and this place delivered! As soon as we walked onto the property and our kids saw the oceanfront pool, they were ecstatic! I thought the ocean view was amazing, too! Then, when we got into the condo, it was so nice and such a refreshing setup with all of the amenities we could need right off the bat. A really nice welcome kit was waiting on the counter and the interiors were clean and new and nice. The bed was so comfortable and even the sofa sleep bed was comfy for my kids. The location is perfect for exploring the island- it‚Äôs a great central location. We also loved that the BEST shave ice on the island (Ululani‚Äôs) was just a couple blocks away. They also have a little bakery and market next door where you can get fresh local fruits like apple bananas- not to miss! This is a great vacation rental and we‚Äôd definitely come back to this exact same condo!

Clean, well decorated and well equipped condo on Sugar Beach. This condo and complex really exceeded our expectations. The complex is well maintained and sits in Sugar Beach with direct beach access. The views are lovely. A great pool and hot tub area with plenty of lounges provided relaxation in the sun. The unit itself was fantastic. Highly recommend for a proper Maui relaxing stay with easy access to all areas of the island. We will definitely be back.
