The tropical feel to the unit. Gorgeous view directly to pool and ocean. The sunsets. A photographer was hired to take family photos on the property; the beach and grass were the perfect backdrop for stunning photos. Beach was great for young kids. Shallow and very calm waters

A very charming place and was a great place to stay at. Really comfortable beds, great view (we got to see whales from the balcony), very clean, good assortment of dishes and appliances. Very easy access to the beach, and it was a nice beach too. We loved that the balcony door was multisectional and could be opened so that almost the whole wall was open to the balcony; makes for very great views while making food or just sitting in the living room. If we ever get a chance, would stay here again.

This 2nd floor condo's view is over the top! The living room and lanai are lovely with comfortable seating. Parking is good. Laundry is conveniently located on the ground floor. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Location is great for walking to beach, restaurants and shopping. This is our second stay here and we will definitely come again.

What a great place to stay. You cannot beat toe view anywhere else. It's so quiet yet within a very short walk to all the amenities, shops, restraunts and food trucks you could ever want. There was nothing like being located in central Kihei. If you want a quiet time or be close to night life book this condominium.

There isn't a better view in all of Maui than on the deck at Hale Kai O'Kiehi's unit 206. The deck is wonderful for lounging and enjoying the sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed staying in the unit and will book it again.

We watched the sunset from the porch every night! Beach access is directly behind the condo on first floor. Pool was great to cool off! We loved it! Highly recommend and would 100% come stay again.

We spent 8 days in this beach front condo and loved every second of it. The condo’s patio opens up to an incredible view of the ocean. The grounds in front are nicely kept with sweeping palms adding to the beauty of the ocean view and warm breezes. You can’t beat the location, right on the beach!! A smaller building makes for a quiet relaxed atmosphere. The condo itself had all we needed to enjoy our stay. It is a bit outdated but clean and cozy. For us the only down side was no dishwasher and the 2 bedrooms had sliding curtains rather than walls which isn’t great for privacy. We still loved it though and would definitely re book.

Generally unclean door knobs, light switches, dishes in cupboard all needed washing. When we walked in we felt the place was unclean. Floors and bathroom uncleaned. Carpet needs a good cleaning

The unit is part of a 3 story condo building located in the heart of Kihei, close to a grocery store, restaurants and other shopping. The unit has a fantastic view of the ocean and sunsets. The unit was clean and had everything we required, but its starting to show its age.

Condo had an incredible view! The pool was right below our balcony. Away from the crowded resort areas but amenities and restaurants were in walking distance. Very private; would definitely return!

This probably has a MASSIVE front unlocked view of the coastline. We went September and saw turtles all day off of the lanai. I would highly recommend this place during whale season if it is available. My family and I will definitely be back again.

We loved our time in Maui. The condo was well equipped with an amazing view. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels. The kitchen was well stocked but dated - the cabinets weren’t in the best shape and there is no dishwasher - not a reason to not book, just an FYI to set expectations. We had a fabulous couple of days, wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in this apartment. From the reception, location, comfort, there is everything you need inside the apartment, including beach chairs and umbrellas. From the balcony we watched the sunset every day. For us, apartment 206 was the best located in the building. We will certainly rent again and recommend it to our friends.

The owner has binoculars on the tv stand that were amazing for whale watching from the unit. Also available were beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrella, so handy! Laundry is not in the unit, but coin laundry available. The pool is small but perfect for cooling down or for kids to play. You are right on the beach and walking distance from restaurants and entertainment. There is a grocery store a short distance away. We had no problems with air conditioning. There are 3 AC units in the condo and we’re more than ample for cooling. Overall, I would definitely go back and recommend this unit.

Booking, check-in, and check-out was the smoothest transaction I’ve had in a long time. Condo is right on the beach, perfect for relaxation. And was in a great spot on the island to use as a jumping off point to tour the island. The condo was also surrounded by great food options.

This condo was amazing, and just the right size for my friend and I. The view is amazing, we watched whales breech each morning from the balcony. The amenities in the condo made it feel like home, and the location was quiet, but still close to shops and dining. The pool is lovely, and the property is very clean and well maintained. The beach was not crowded and it was nice to be able to relax, while being steps from the condo. I would stay at this condo again and hope to return soon! Thank you!

The view of palm trees, beach, ocean, and migrating whales never got old. Very few people on beach, as well as a few turtles. Condo had room enough for four adults and in a prime location to walk to a grocery store, shops, and restaurants. Convenient parking and short drive to beautiful beaches, food truck courts, restaurants, shops(in Kihei and Wailea), fruit stands, and scenic trails. Have already recommended to friends!

Ok honest review here. Upon arrival I was a little disappointed with the overall upkeep on the bathrooms. HOWEVER, I got over this pretty quick. This location is excellent, the view is absolutely unbeatable and the best part is the beach is so private you have hardly anyone there unlike further down towards Wailea. I would suggest water shoes for the beach as there are some rocky areas but not bad at all. Saw 3 turtles in the water that swam up close to shore. A real gem of a property and has everything you could ask for including beach chairs, snorkel gear, fully stocked kitchen and great lanai with dining area to have your meals with a view. Glass doors slide out all the way to have a full open living room facing the ocean. Grounds and property are well managed. Grocery store one block away and restaurants very close. Pool is just below the lanai which I was a bit concerned about but it’s hardly used and didn’t have screaming kids. Would recommend absolutely.

We had an amazing time! The location was perfection. Watching the sunsets from the balcony, the location to the beach and pool - all wonderful. Would definitely book again. We stayed for 9 days and wished it was longer. My only two suggestions for the unit would be to add a mat at the entrance and a clothes rack. Otherwise it was magnificent.

The location is close to everything you need. By the corner of the street there is a supermarket.
My only recommendation would be to add real doors instead of curtains to the bedrooms so people can have more privacy.
Other than that, I definitely recommend this place and I would stay again.

The apartment is in the second floor of a three story vacationn rental complex. The balcony has a fabulous view over thermal pool and a small lawn right onto some sand dunes and the sea. Walking down to the beach we saw a large green turtle maybe 100 yards from the property relaxing on the beach.
The apartment is equipped with many useful accessories for the beach (chairs, cooler, boggie board, snorkling equipment).

Loved being right on the ocean with a beautiful view. You can get up and walk out of your condo to go for a relaxing walk on a beach or swim in the pool on the premises. The condominiums are not on a main road yet within walking distance to dining and grocery store. Very quiet, relaxing and family friendly place. Made many great memories here!

We have stayed at Hale Kai O’Kihei twice now. This unit had everything we needed, although a little dated. It was perfectly functional and well kept. Beautiful views of the sunsets and walking the beach to see the turtles was our favorite part. We were able to spot whales from our lanai with the binoculars left in the room. Thank you for a wonderful place to be. We will be back again!

I LOVE LOVE this Home Away from HOME! My Heart is still there. I don't want to leave ;) The place is clean and spacious. Lots of kitchen tools and orange juicer, and Smoothie blender are there to enjoy like your home. There is swimming pool and Ocean right there 1 minute walk. Time Supermarket is my favorite place within 5 minute walk for healthy foods, fruits, veggies as Vegetarian lover. I love my balcony to enjoy Sunset and Full Moon. Daniel, management office was very attentive and supportive. Maui Pie and Outdoor Shopping Markets for crafts and clothes is within 15 minute walk. I definitely come back. I wish I could call this place my home! The view says it all! We were two couples vacationing in Maui and found this location to be absolutely perfect. It has a full kitchen and we were able to save some money by cooking meals and eating on the lovely patio. We were walking distance to the beach and markets. The unit has many instructions and helpful labels for the functionality of the condo. If you do not have the patience or respect to follow these then this may not be the place for you.

Super comfortable sectional couch ended up all sleeping in it each night with the huge slider wall open just to feel the breeze and hear the ocean..just walk right outside to the beach and it was never packed ever felt like we lived there perfect area .felt safe for the kids cannot wait to stay here again

This is a fantastic place to stay in Kihei! The condo is in a great location, right on the beach on a quiet road. However, it is also very close to Kihei`s main drag with restaurants and bars. The weather in the area is extremely pleasant and sunny. The condo was clean and really comfortable, and it had all of the amenities that you`ll need. Check-In and Parking were simple and efficient. The only downside was that some of the fixtures were a little dated, such as the air conditioning machine which leaked water. We also ran into some bugs, but being in a tropical climate, this is pretty much what you would expect. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing vacation in Maui.

Great place for the end of our trip! Some rules apply at the pool, but nothing out of the ordinary- just a lot of people patrolling for adherence. The place was spacious and the all-important coffee maker was in full operation. The morning beach walk was wonderful and the evening sunset can be enjoyed from the balcony. I highly recommend this space for a lot of people, as there was a lot of space to spread out. Will definitely come back to this place again.

This place is wonderful. I would go back again and would highly recommend to anyone. It has an amazing view of the ocean, easy access to the beach, and comes with beach chars/beach towels etc. so you don`t need to bring or buy your own. The place is clean and, supplies the basics in terms of toiletries and comes with a full range of kitchen supplies if you enjoy cooking. I needed to utilize the after hours check-in and it couldn`t have been easier.

I almost don`t want to say how good our stay was for fear of making this condo too popular. But I will. From the exceptional view, the beautifully styled rooms and everything you need to make your stay in Kehei so enjoyable, we couldn`t fault it. Kehei itself is a great town and the condo is so handy to everything, there is even a supermarket 2 minutes walk away. The beach is a little rocky in places but that doesn`t detract and the pool is kept clean and serviced every morning. We loved our stay and will be back. Mahalo.

We loved the location, right on the sandy beach as well as within walking distance to just about everything! The condo is quiet and the not crowded--perfect for us. Having 2 bathrooms was so convenient. We will definitely stay here again!

The Condo at Hale Kai o Kihei was amazing and perfect for what we wanted on our Hawaiian Holiday. It was well stocked with equipment we could use in the ocean and the Kitchen had everything we needed to cook ourselves meals and enjoy on the balcony. This condo was a home away from home and we will be spreading the word about how great we found it. We will be coming back!

We have stayed many times at the Hale Kai O`Kihei and love it every time! The condos are basic but comfortable and in a great location.
We had a couple of issues with a carpet stain and a leaky AC unit this visit but Charla from the rental agency was super responsive and took care of everything!
Highly recommend this place!

We loved the condo. It was as described. My mom is in her late 70`s so it was perfect for her and my 2 year old to walk to the beach. It was just a few feet away. The complex is nice and quiet. The manager was very helpful. They lent us a fence to put on the lanai so my son can come out with us. We will definitely come back again. We loved it.

We had an amazing stay at Kihei Oceanfront! The location was ideal with the beach right outside our back door and downtown just a short drive away. We made full use of all the supplies provided (towels, beach chairs, grill outside, laundry, shuffle board, blender for island drinks, and ample parking). I would defintely book here again. We wish we stayed for longer!

Great condo for relaxing on the beach on Maui with incredible ocean views! We loved watching the sunset from the lanai and the completely movable glass doors basically made this an extension to the living room. From what we saw, the complex is one of a few in the area with direct ocean access without having to cross any roads and the garden/green area and pool directly adjacent to the beach. Cozy, clean, and very well-maintained place that provided enough space for the four of us. The condo complex is quiet and off the main road but within 5min walking distance to a supermarket and other stores and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked to do some home-cooking, and we appreciated the closet with beach supplies (towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear). Great communication with the rental agency and check in and check out was incredible easy.

This condo is an amazing mix of comfort and amazing view! We found a little gift basket of treats, which was very unexpected and appreciated. This entire building is AMAZING. The managers are new but truly friendly. Everyone we met was friendly. Some have been coming back here for 30+ years and we can see why. This unit is a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with full kitchen and every kitchen utensil you will every need and more. Beds are super comfy, pillows are amazing. A/C is very effective and overhead fans nicely spread the cool. Laundry facilities downstairs, even a small library of books to borrow for those relaxing times on the lanai. Actually, we couldn`t take our eyes off the scenery the whole time we sat there, it is nothing short of spectacular, especially the waves rolling in, glinting in the sun, and - if you are lucky - whales breaching off shore. Markets, restaurants, clothing stores are very convenient just a couple of blocks behind but it is extremely quiet, no rowdy evenings, no traffic. Loved, loved it. We want to come back as soon as we can, there is nowhere else possibly on the planet that we would rather be. The unit is exactly like the picture.

Everything was very good. Quiet and peaceful area, clean and comfortable apartments.
However there is pretty rocky beach near apartments. It is great to have sunbath but a bit surprisingly when you get to water for refreshing.)
But it is a great place to have some rest after a day full of joy on beautiful Mauian beaches. Definitely.)
