Kihei is South Maui at its most easygoing: beach mornings, casual meals, and enough town services to make a longer stay relaxed. The oceanfront location keeps the water central, while Kalama Park and the Kamaole beach parks offer nearby places to walk, swim, or watch the day end. Kihei's restaurants and shops are practical after a beach day. Head south toward Wailea and Makena for a scenic change of pace, or keep it simple with the pool and shoreline close at hand.

This condo was the perfect place for our small family's first stay in Maui. It was very clean and had all of the amenities needed. And there's a great grocery store and shops within walking distance. And Maui Pie! That's not to be missed. The beach is so close and we could sit and watch the sunset. Thank you! We hope to stay again soon.

This was my 5th stay at this condo. We started before the remodel three years ago (which was fantastic!). You can't find a better place for sunsets, whale watching from the lanai, peace and tranquility! It's located close to a shopping center with two fabulous restaurants (Nalu's and Coconut Fish) and a great cafe (Home Maid Cafe) for Hot Portugese donuts fried fresh for each customer)
steps from the beach over the building's private lawn. Sea Turtles beaching themselves at sunset nearly every night. You can't beat this place!!!!

The place is very nice. The lanai was wonderful and the place was well stocked for cooking and it was really nice to be able to walk down a flight of stairs and be at the beach. This part of Maui has wonderful sunsets and access to many local food establishments.

We spent a few days beginning of September at this home and we enjoyed every single minute. Great location, ocean view facing west so definitely plan to be sitting at the terrace with a glass of wine at sunset time. Quiet place so very relaxing. It was windy in the afternoon but you don't notice it in the terrace. The home is fully equipped with all amenities you can need including beach gear. It was clean and in perfect condition. Very spacious and comfortable for the 3 of us. Beds a bit soft for my personal taste but in good condition. There is a parking space that it was quite empty during our stay so very convinient. And a big supermarket around the corner. Vacasa sent all communications on a timely manner and it went very smoothly. Entrance is keyless so no waiting times for check-in or check-out.

We lived for 5 nights, the apartments are perfectly equipped - there is everything you need for a short vacation. Through the windows you can admire the views of nature - the sea, surrounding islands, the beach - a few steps away.the location of the apartments is very convenient - the shopping center is just 10 minutes walk away.

It was right on the beach, so we could go for walks and check out the shops, restaurants, cafes, and food trucks. It was well-stocked and well-maintained, even though it looked a bit older on the outside. But inside, it was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view. It was just the right size for our family of three with two bedrooms with attached baths.

We absolutely loved that we could walk out our doors, across the lawn and we were on the beach. Hearing the ocean was also great, but honestly, loved loved seeing the Sea Turtles on the beach and even stayed late one night to watch them swim back out, it was little dark, cause you don't want lights shining on them, but it was quite majestic watching them.

I have stayed in this lovely place five times. Each time the owners have improved the property. The new electric sun shade was added this year and made enjoying the sunsets so much more comfortable. But the real beauty of this place is, as always, the location: right on the ocean within walking distance of many restuarants and services. This is a lovely, small, quiet 3-story property with an exceptional view. Our lanai provided views of whales and, with a short walk on the beach, you'll find turtles that come to rest at night. We have been to Maui a few times, but this was our first time to Hale Kai O 216 and we were not disappointed. The condo is clean, functional, well equipped and has everything that you need for a wonderful stay. The location is amazing allowing us to do our morning walk (aka daily turtle encounters!) on the beach as well as a short walk to great place to have a delicious bite. I would recommend to everyone looking for a place to stay to book this place. There is a guestbook where you can leave a reply and it was unanimous, this is THE place for a perfect time in Maui! We cannot wait to be back :)

The place was beautiful and tranquil with exception of MAJOR construction in unit above. We had to vacate one afternoon due to jack hammering. Other days were tolerable but still loud. Last day water poured through our bathroom ceiling. VACASA never notified us if any construction. The place is amazing in a more cultural neighborhood and is exactly as described. I hope the owners are alerted!

This is one of the BEST rentals in which I’ve ever stayed. Everything was perfect…from the amenities to the welcome package to the cleanliness and that VIEW! You can tell the owners really take pride in the property and the comfort of their guests and it shows. We used this property as a transition point in the middle of our vacation from one side of the island to another; but after staying here, I wish we had just spent the rest of the trip here! The view was gorgeous, awesome sunsets, loved having the private beach area right outside. It was such a treat seeing all the turtles at sunset too. I can’t say enough good about this property. You won’t regret staying here. We will be back!!! Thank you!!!!

This unit has been remodeled with a lovely well stocked kitchen and nice bathrooms with walk in showers. Really nice to have two full bathrooms with the 2 bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and glasses etc. Nice bedding and linens. Lots of built in storage in bedrooms. The view is fabulous, the grounds are well kept and the beach is clean and sandy.
Convenient 5 minute walk to several good restaurants, a grocery store, and urgent care (which we needed and was a good experience).
This particular unit is really a gem!

It was completely furnished to the point we felt we were staying with friends in their home. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. It has the feeling of seclusion as you have nothing but a lovely lawn between you and the beach. But we were literally within walking distance to fabulous restaurants, grocery store, bakery, and drug store. We booked next year already knowing that this unit is in high demand. The managers (Vacasa?) took great care of us and called during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Top recommendation!!

This unit is completely furnished with modern amenities and furniture, on a quiet street yet within walking distance of a grocery store, drug store, restaurants and shops.
Lovely beach, great for sitting and walking. Sea turtles regularly retreat to the sand nearby each night after sunset. We enjoyed watching them several times.

We had a lovely vacation in Maui. This unit is lovely. The views from the Lanai are unbeatable. Lovely renovations have been done, a very modern and clean condo, which had everything we needed. It is very well appointed and clearly a lot of thought has gone into it. We enjoyed sipping our coffees in the morning on the lanai , looking for whales. And the sunsets either on the beach or lanai were stunning. It is a nice quiet building. We will be back!!!

We had a lovely vacation in Maui. This unit is lovely. The views from the Lanai are unbeatable. Lovely renovations have been done, a very modern and clean condo, which had everything we needed. It is very well appointed and clearly a lot of thought has gone into it. We enjoyed sipping our coffees in the morning on the lanai , looking for whales. And the sunsets either on the beach or lanai were stunning. It is a nice quiet building. We will be back!!!

Access directly on the beach without the need to cross a street. Amazing sunsets.

The view from this condo was great! They had everything that you could need at your home away from home. We loved seeing all of the turtles in the water and even some on the beach. My kiddos loved the pool as well. I would definitely love to stay here again.

The view from this condo was great! They had everything that you could need at your home away from home. We loved seeing all of the turtles in the water and even some on the beach. My kiddos loved the pool as well. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Sometimes when you book a home, you‚Äôre not sure if it‚Äôs going to be a good one‚Ķ well this exceeded my expectations! All bases covered and then some! Bright, airy, clean, updated beautifully üòä Would come back to this gem again, but it‚Äôs booked steadily! I won‚Äôt give up though‚Ķ home run for the owners and cleaning staff superb ‚ô•Ô∏è Watch for the turtles arrival 7:30 pm-ish up the beach. Amazing ü§©

Comfortable and fully stocked with a view that won’t quit. What more do you need when visiting Maui? It was perfect for our family. Air conditioned and nicely upgraded unit.

Superb condo! Made our vacation so so much better!!! - The place was spacious, clean, modern, had every kitchen silverware, appliance. and tool we could ask for. The balcony let us just chill and enjoy superb views on the second floor! (great placement). The beach was right in front and easy to access, and washer and dryer nearby too.
The hosts provided so many things with the rental (laundry baskets, vacuum, boogie board, beach chair, etc) that we were amazed!
The general location placement was great as well, with a supermarket right around the corner and CVS/other shops only a 2 min drive away!
All in all, great rental and we’d definitely come back and stay again!

It was very close to the beach and the house was very welcoming and had everything we needed. Very quite place for a perfect vacation and relaxing time. Would go here again and recommend friends

This condo is amazing! Has everything you need for a home away from home on the beach! Air conditioner works great with remote controls for easy controls of temp! Very comfortable beds and furniture, even has a beach chair, boogie board and straw spreads for the sand! We left a noodle for future guests. The views and sunset are absolutely breathtaking! Every night we had beautiful sunsets, we were definitely spoiled!
There is a pool onsite, they have an outdoor shower, and nozzle hose to rinse of the sand from your daily beach excursions. They wonderful lounge chairs, shuffle board and wonderful grass area for sunbathing or any family games you chose to play!
The walks on the beach and the proximity to everything is simply awesome! You are within minutes of key areas, such as Wailea, Makena Beach, Kihei Cafe, Ululanis shaved ice, Pai Fish Market, and many more great beaches and restaurants.
I believe this a great value for what you get and I would definitely stay here again!

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The condo was clean and had the amenities we needed. The beds were comfy, even the pull out couch! The sunsets were magnificent and we loved how close we were to the ocean. We also loved that restaurants and shopping were within a short walk, so convenient! Check-in was easy. Can't say enough good things. Don't know when we'll be back but we'd definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owners of this condo!!

This condo was very nice and updated, it had a wonderful view of the ocean right off of the lanai and it was just steps to the beach. This location is hard to beat.

The location is right on the beach which we loved. The building is a little older and a few of the room design choices don't match modern living (for example no outlet next to bed stand for charging the phone at night). The rooms were clean and the kitchen area suited our needs. We would be happy to return here if we visit Maui again.
