Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Maui Kamaole sits at Kihei's south end, where beach days can stay wonderfully uncomplicated. Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road for swimming, snorkeling, and a late-day sunset stroll, while Kamaole I and II extend the shoreline north. Head south toward Keawakapu Beach and Wailea when you want a change of scenery. Between outings, Kihei keeps casual meals, coffee, and groceries within easy reach. It is a sunshine-and-sand base for families, friends, and couples who want the beach to set the day's pace.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Strolling the grounds of this low-rise property, you'll discover tropical gardens, two pools (the lower pool is heated), a pool spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas. Comfortably and elegantly furnished, this home provides many perks that include free high-speed WiFi, free cable TV, a DVD player, a washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen. In-room safes are available. The spacious lanai offers spectacular views and a true taste of Hawaiian living.

Access

Guests at Maui Kamaole enjoy access to the resort's two pools, pool spa, tennis courts, barbecue areas, and tropical garden grounds. Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road, making beach time easy to work into the day. The resort's low-rise layout has no elevators.

Amazing stay in a really nice town near Wailea Beach! Honestly did not leave to leave Kihei with its amazing beaches and the pool at the Airbnb. Our first stay in Hawaii and would love to return to this Airbnb!

Overall we had a really great stay! The grounds were beautiful with just a short 5 min walk to the beach. The condo was well equipped with beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler for beach days. The kitchen had what we needed to make a few quick meals, the bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having the washer and dryer. When we arrived, it looked like the kitchen and master bathroom counter weren‚Äôt cleaned very well, but overall everything was clean. Thanks for a great stay, we hope to be back!

We stayed at Maui Kamaole ‚Äì Unit I105 and couldn‚Äôt have asked for a better spot for our family trip. The location is perfect ‚Äî close to the beaches, shops, and restaurants in Kihei, yet quiet and relaxed enough to feel like a true getaway. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The landscaping feels lush and tropical, and walking around the property each day was a treat. The pool area was fantastic ‚Äî clean, spacious, and perfect for both adults and kids. One thing that really stood out was how well the unit was stocked with amenities. Having beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and kids‚Äô beach toys available made our daily beach trips so easy and stress-free. Those little extras made a big difference, especially traveling with family. Overall, this was an ideal home base for exploring Maui. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

The condo was perfect! It had everything we needed, came fully furnished and loved everything about our stay. We could relax and in the front on the furniture & enjoy the sunshine, in the morning, early and late evening. We could relax in the living area watching the big screen tv. We could prepare & enjoy our meals in the kitchen and dining area. The king bed was great and the huge walk in shower was amazing. Loved the Hawaiian touch to the condo as well. We would definitely recommend to others to stay at the condo. Everything is close by (beach, restaurants, shopping, etc), and daily walks can include seeing the amazing beaches, water, and greeting other walkers out enjoying the fresh air. Absolutely amazing! Return visit is a must.
