Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
North Kihei is especially good for couples who like a calmer coast without giving up access to the rest of South Maui. Sugar Beach gives you room for a long shoreline walk, while Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge provides a quieter inland stop. Maalaea Harbor and Maui Ocean Center are nearby for a change of pace. Drive south when you want the cafés, casual meals, and livelier beach-park scene around Kamaole Beach Park III, then return to a less busy stretch of coast.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Private feeling, keyless coded entry was very nice. Clean and well kept property with an amazing view! All in all I feel I got a great deal overall for the price I paid and vacasa worked with me when I booked last minute and on the wrong island! They within a few days of my trip to Maui found me this place and the rate was amazing so extra props to the management team.
