The neighborhood:
Sugar Beach Resort is on North Kihei's long, open shoreline, where a beach walk can stretch for miles and the water is right outside the resort. Central Kihei is a short drive for groceries, casual restaurants, and coffee, while South Maui favorites such as Kamaole Beach Parks and Wailea are within reach for a change of scene. Come back for the trade winds and a wide Pacific sunset, with views toward the West Maui Mountains on clear evenings. It suits families and couples who want their Maui days to begin at the sand.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Right on the ocean, great location close to abc store. Sandwich place right on the premises. Lots of parking, comfortable beds, great water pressure and great A/C unit. Pool and hot tub area were also clean and well maintained. Recycling on the property as well for glass, cans, plastic bottles and cardboard. Also felt very safe in the building.

Amazing location right on the beach. A/C worked great, comfortable beds, great water pressure. Good sized balcony with room for three adults. Room was perfectly situated between palm trees for an unobstructed view of the ocean. Clean pool and hot tub area. Showers by the beach exit for sand clean up. Always a place to park and handy having a recycling area in the parking lot.
