Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Mahina Surf is in Honokowai on West Maui's shoreline, a quieter stretch north of busy Kaanapali. It gives your group an oceanfront place to exhale, while beach days stay close: Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach are all within about four miles. Pick up fresh fish at Fish Market Maui, less than a mile away, then come home for sunset by the water. It is a relaxed base for families and friends who want West Maui beaches without staying in the middle of the resort bustle.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's west side coastline. A rental car is recommended for reaching beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast. Kaanapali, Kapalua, and Lahaina-area destinations are a drive away, while nearby beaches are often just minutes from the complex. Parking is typically available in designated lots, though it can fill up at popular beaches and restaurants.

Take in the lovely view of the ocean from your own private, furnished balcony - or enjoy it from the comfortably furnished living room. You'll even be able to enjoy the ocean views (and views of the distant island mountains) from the full kitchen. The kitchen itself offers a dishwasher, full size appliances, and plenty of helpful cooking tools to aid in your vacation cooking. A desk workspace in the living room is perfect for finishing up remote work before heading out to the beach. Younger guests might enjoy relaxing in the loft bedroom, complete with a full bathroom on the same floor. When you're ready to drift off to sleep, just pull the room-darkening shades closed and enjoy sweet dreams of the shore.

You will be within four miles of Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach, among others. End the day with delicious mahi mahi from the Fish Market Maui, less than a mile from the condo.

Access

Guests at Mahina Surf enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool set along Maui's coastline, with garden grounds and a disabled parking spot for easy access. The beachfront location puts the water just outside your lanai, and grab rails support accessibility. A nearby laundromat adds convenience for longer stays at this 42 unit complex.

Unit 227 has the best view! I‚Äôve been coming to Mahina Surf for the past 11 years and stayed in different units, and this one is definitely a favorite. It had all the amenities listed and was perfect for our group of 6. Can‚Äôt wait to come back!

Great Place, not too pricy or crowded

Great place, close to the beach, amazing view from the balcony. You can hear the sound of the ocean at all times. Clean rooms, nice pool and barbecue area. The rooms are stocked with lots of equipment, games, books, etc. Kitchens have a fridge with a freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee makers, pancake cooker, mixer, blender, rice cooker, pots, pans, bowls, and all the appliances and utensils that you can imagine.
