Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Mahina Surf is on a quieter stretch of West Maui, between the bigger beach areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach are nearby options for swimming and snorkeling. Fish Market Maui is close for fresh seafood, and local markets make it easy to stock up. This shoreline setting suits guests who prefer a lower-key base while keeping popular beaches and dining within reach.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport (OGG) is about 40 to 45 minutes from the Lahaina area along Maui's west side. A rental car is recommended for beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast, including Kaanapali and Kapalua. Nearby beaches may be just minutes away, but most destinations require driving. Parking is typically available in designated lots, though popular beaches and restaurants can fill up.

In the afternoon, take a quick walk down the northern path to watch the turtles sunbathe on the beach. In the evenings, your kitchen will provide the space to cook up dinner while others can watch TV, play games, or go through remote lessons on their tablets using the high speed WiFi. Both the loft bedroom (with its lovely en suite bathroom) and the downstairs bedroom geared toward younger guests have their own TVs, so everyone can enjoy their own space. But there's room for everyone to come together in the common area full of seating and high windows that pull in the lovely sunshine.

You will be within four miles of Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach, among others. End the day with delicious mahi mahi from the Fish Market Maui less than a mile from the condo.

Access

Guests at Mahina Surf enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool set along Maui's coastline, with garden grounds and a disabled parking spot for easy access. The beachfront location puts the water just outside your lanai, and grab rails support accessibility. A nearby laundromat adds convenience for longer stays at this 42 unit complex.

The whole family was comfortable in the condo. We really enjoyed the pool and balcony. The place had everything we needed while we were there. I would stay again.

Unit 217 is a corner unit with a really nice view. The place was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the balcony listening to the birds in the tree‚Äîit was so peaceful. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Beautiful excellent kept condo. Very nice centrally located pool walking distance to coffee short drive to supermarket. Everything you need is in this condo from coffee maker pots and pans towels, beach chairs. You will have a great time we highly recommend Mahina.

Everything was great, the rooms were clean, the view facing the ocean, the hot water pool, the cooling and heating system was not needed at all, and it is a quiet place.
