Neighborhood

Mahina Surf is on a quieter stretch of West Maui, between the bigger beach areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach are nearby options for swimming and snorkeling. Fish Market Maui is close for fresh seafood, and local markets make it easy to stock up. This shoreline setting suits guests who prefer a lower-key base while keeping popular beaches and dining within reach.

Transit

Kahului Airport (OGG) is about 40 to 45 minutes from the Lahaina area along Maui's west side. A rental car is recommended for beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast, including Kaanapali and Kapalua. Nearby beaches may be just minutes away, but most destinations require driving. Parking is typically available in designated lots, though popular beaches and restaurants can fill up.

Beautiful place to stay!

Beautiful apartments right on a rocky beach, but only ~5 minutes from a sandy beach. Clear instructions for checking in, parking, and wifi. Great amenities - plenty of towels, beach towels, great pool, beach chairs. The grounds are very well kept. The room didn't have air conditioning, but does have a ceiling fans and a couple portable fans to help keep air flowing. The room has basic amenities for cooking. Overall, would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

The property was beautiful with amazing views and condo was clean. Loved it! However, I did have 2 days when I had no hot water. It was related to a breaker issue and property manager responded and corrected the problem quickly both times. This was also the case when there was a problem with the fridges ice maker.
