The view is so close to the water you feel like you're on a cruise ship. Not really set up for small children due to the sea wall, but for adults, it's amazing! You can see turtles coming up for a breath every day all day, and during whale season, you can see them from the room.

The condo is in a good location. The beach to the side is great to snorkel and watch turtles or just sunbathe. Inside the condo is very noisy. The walls and ceilings are thin. My hubby is a light sleeper and woke up often every time someone dropped something or decided to move furniture at all hours of the night. The blinds in the bedroom need to be replaced as there are several slats missing letting in the light from the hallway glow in.

Close to good beaches and Kaanapali. Room had everything we needed, from beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and other amenities. We also were treated with macademia chocolate and maui coffee, which is sweet!
Only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the lack of AC (it was very hot when I visited) and trash dumpster is far from the unit. Would defenitly recommend it, if you dont care about AC.

This was the prefect ocean front stay on Maui. We absolutely loved it. Nothing compares to the views and sounds of the ocean waking you at sunrise and putting you to bed at sunset.

We’ve stayed in another unit in the complex and it wasn’t nearly as nice as 304. Everything you need for a great stay. But the highlight was watching the whales from the lanai each morning and each evening. Bring your binoculars! Seriously beautiful view! We loved it and hope to stay here again.

This condo is cute, well-decorated, and wel-equipped. The real winner is the view. I was captivated by sitting on the patio and taking it all in. I saw countless whales, as well as beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
As a heads up, this unit isn’t air conditioned. The bedroom did get a bit stuffy on a couple of the warmer nights, but they provided plenty of fans and there is a decent breeze - it just doesn’t easily reach the bedroom.

We found it to be sufficiently spacious for the two of us (overpackers) and it makes efficient use of the space in drawers under the bed as well as closets and dressers. We brought two huge suitcases, two carry-on, two backpacks, and two golf bags and still didn't use all the drawers or feel crowded.
The location is ideal - away from the big crowds but near restaurants, shops, and beaches. There is a nice beach right next door.
The view from this unit is amazing and we were able to see wales all day every day during our stay in late February. We rented a kayak, had it delivered, and paddled out right in front of the condo to see them even closer. Highly recommend doing this. Turtles were also a fixture right in front of the building.
Other gusts and tenants were all very friendly and polite. Most seem to be couples of varying ages. Overall environment was relaxed and peaceful.

Kahana Reef 304 checked every box we had for a vacation: a clean, quiet place with an expansive view of the ocean in a location that is less busy than the cities. We enjoyed many hours drinking coffee in the morning or wine in the evening while watching the whales from our lanai. In between, we were 10 minutes from Lahaina and less than that to the beach for daily fun. We’d highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time here! The place is just as described, clean, updated and comfortable. From morning sun shining on Molokai to gorgeous sunsets every single night, we had a perfect trip. We saw whales every day from our lanai. The building is quiet and nicely kept up. Communication with property managers was fast and led to quick resolution of a minor problem. We definitely look forward to returning!

How can one not be joyful this is Maui!!!
This property is perfect for me. It is oceanfront and the complex is not oversized so is very easy to get around. I used the pool everyday and enjoyed watching the playful whales and turtles During the day and the wonderful sunsets at night
The property is getting older and could have some up dating done but it is well maintained. The unit was well equipped but again could maybe use an update on some of the kitchen items but was not a deal breaker for me
One of the stove burners did not work so I contacted the property manager who replied very promptly however it took a second email (three weeks later) before the burner was repaired. Again the property management was very polite and apologetic and a repair person came the next day.
I was here for five weeks and totally relaxed and enjoyed the winter get away

Fantastic oceanfront condo. Saw some amazing sunsets every night sitting on the lanai. Only thing we didn’t like is we definitely could have used more bath towels. Overall, this place was amazing and the people who live here were so nice.

This spot was one of our favorite vacation stays. The place was comfortable and clean. They views from the lanai could not have been better. This property has breath taking views and sunsets. It was well stocked, very comfortable and nicely upgraded. It was very clean and the customer service from management was a 10/10. The front is unassuming, but the property and oceanfront has all the magic. I came right after the islands reopened, so there are extra precautions with the pool - warranted. I will absolutely come back.

Wow, what a place.
So our only small negative was the floors were dirty, sand throughout and food crumbs in kitchen, (and no parking pass which got solved quickly). And I get it the cleaning people wear shoes so can't feel the sand, and seem to use a vacuum on hardwoods, we communicated this to the leasing company but nothing. So we bought a broom (hope they left it for the next renters) swept the place and moved on.
So now the positives! This place is just as described, we opened the front door at 1100 at night after getting off our flight and were met with the sound of the ocean crashing right outside our patio door and warm breeze. Slept well in the great bed with the breeze blowing in the window.
Kitchen was outfitted great, nothing lacking (coffee pot doesn't need filters) salt & pepper, paper towels etc.
Beach stuff, this place has it all, beach chairs a great beach umbrella, swim noodles, cooler, beach towels. Was great we only had to rent snorkel gear for a great day at the beach. But that Lanai, wow killer views , quiet complex, waves, rainbows and Whales everywhere. We spent a lot of time on that lanai.
Over all our best stay on Maui (third trip to this island)
Walking distance to a couple small beach's, Maui Brewing company and don't miss the Whaler General store, best mix of Poke we saw!

Incredible view from the room. Simple efficient lodging with a good kitchen, comfortable bed and tons of video games but basic cable is lacking. Toilet needs maintenance and it is time for new pillows! We liked the pool and China Boat restaurant across the street.

My husband fell in love with the couch. The patio was perfect for dinner, sunsets and cocktails. Great location. We were glad the advertisement warned us about the construction noise, so we knew exactly what to expect. It said the pool may be out of order, but we got lucky and it was clean and ready for us to dip into! We ran into a few issues while at the home and the plumbing in the building causing us to lose water during the days, but Vacasa took care of us and we don’t have any complaints as we know they did what they could given the unfortunate and unpredicted issues that came up! Would gladly stay with Vacasa and this team on Maui again, even this home again if it’s available!

My wife and I loved our stay at the Kahana Reef. The condo is lovely with a well stocked kitchen, cable TV, wifi, and a comfortable king bed.
But most amazing was the view. 100 or so feet from the ocean. Watch the sunset every night over Lanai and even see whales swim by.
Great location away from the throngs of tourists.
Highly recommend it.
