Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Kahana is a peaceful West Maui stretch between Ka'anapali and Kapalua, with the ocean channel and neighboring islands as a constant backdrop. Nearby beaches offer swimming and snorkeling, while Pohaku Park is a useful stop for a picnic or sand between bigger outings. Kapalua's hiking, golf, and scenic bays are a short drive north; Ka'anapali's restaurants and activity are to the south. Winter brings the possibility of whale sightings offshore, and evenings often deliver a clear view toward Lanai and Molokai. It is ideal for a family or couple that wants room to slow down.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport (OGG) is about 40 to 45 minutes from the Lahaina area along Maui's west side. A rental car is recommended for beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast, including Kaanapali and Kapalua. Nearby beaches may be just minutes away, but most destinations require driving. Parking is typically available in designated lots, though popular beaches and restaurants can fill up.

This place is so roomy and a beautiful view! The ONLY thing was since there isn’t AC, we had the big doors open at night. The back bedroom the traffic is pretty loud with the doors open. But we loved it here and would stay again! Very comfortable beds!

Watched turtles swimming and gorgeous sunsets from the lanai. There were five of us and we had lots of room, lots of dishes and towels. Very clean condo.
