This place is absolutely perfect! The ocean view is incredible—there’s nothing better than relaxing outside and taking it all in. Patio happy hours and sunsets are a must!
The condo has everything you could possibly need, from a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ setup to beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella—he’s really thought of everything to make the stay easy and comfortable.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

We were looking forward to this vacation and this condo for months and it exceeded expectations! Where do I start? The view from the balcony was A+. Just ocean breezes, gentle waves, blue skies and pink sunsets. And sitting with my sweetheart to take it all in. We had everything we needed in this unit to make a great trip. We used the beach chairs, the pool noodles, and the full kitchen. Nice touches with the welcome coffee and other fun things! The location and parking made life easy for a relaxing spring getaway.

The unit is in a well-maintained building with nice grounds, a pool, and a roof top deck on the beach front---just a few miles north of Lahaina. It has a well equipped kitchen, a big screen TV in the living/dining area, and the bathroom is just outside the glass doors of the bedroom. There's a big lanai with nice furnishings, a large sunshade, and a beautiful view of the ocean and the island of Lanai. We loved hearing the sound of the waves breaking throughout our stay!

We loved the view of the whales and turtles and sunsets from our lanai. The tenant who did a sunset ceremony every night was an added special bonus for our stay. When we arrived at our condo and there was relaxing Hawaiian music playing was special. The pool was great. We can’t wait to come back to this property we had a wonderful 25th anniversary vacation!!

Beautiful oceanfront condo, had everything we needed for our stay. Loved watching the whales from the lanai and enjoying our coffee every morning! Bring binoculars if you have them. We ended up renting some from a local fishing shop. Bed was comfortable as was the sofa. Definitely would recommend staying here! Thank you for sharing your home! Mahalo

Great unit! Had everything we needed and more. Unit included shampoo, laundry detergent, paper towels, chairs and umbrellas. Mattress was too soft but pillows were great. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the whales in the comfy chairs. Try the coconut smoothie at Miss Arepas down the block, unbelievable!!Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hale Ono Loa. The location is perfect in terms of being close to grocery stores, the Fish Market, and some great restaurants. The view from the deck is unparalleled! The crashing of the waves and the constant view of the sea turtles below made up for this unit not being directly on the beach. Beaches are literally a few minutes away. The unit was well stocked with cooking equipment, although the pots and pans could definitely be replaced (they are pretty worn). Whats really great about the units location is that there is an incredible out the front door as well as from the deck. The deck is large and easily accommodates having meals out there.

This was our second time at this property, first time in this unit. Older property, but very well maintained and clean. We love being on the water. Ocean sounds and beautiful sunsets. Because this is a smaller property, the common areas have very few people using them. Nice pool, great elevated deck for getting some son or watching the turtles. We would stay again, because the bottom line is location, location, location. The pots and pans, cookware are worn out, and at least twenty years old, maybe more. NEEDS to be replaced. New toaster, but need an upgrade in the coffee area, like something using the K cups. And here is a cheap quick fix, stick a couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door for hanging cloths up..This is a small thing, but the full bottle of dish soap was watered down to look full. So update the dishes in the kitchen. Especially the pots and pans.

First time in Maui and I feel like this was 100% the way to go. The view from the condo is amazing, and you can walk right up to the ocean. The condo itself is nice, it’s clean with a lot of amenities- and a very calm atmosphere. Great stay.

Wonderful Stay in Maui

The condo was nice. The view was great. We went in February and were able to watch the whales every day from our balcony and we were able to watch the sunset from the balcony each evening as well.
Inside of the condo was nice enough. There was no A/C (as is the case with many condos in Maui), but there was enough of a breeze that we were able to sleep well. The bed was comfortable, but a little slanty on one side. There was also no dresser available for use. Less than half the closet is available for tenant use and there is an armoire, but in the armoire are extra pillows and linens. And while that's nice, there wasn't much room to put our clothes. Living out of suitcases for two weeks wasn't ideal but we made it work. Also, we didn't walk around with our shoes off because the floors were a little sticky (the way many hotel floors are).
The kitchen had much of what we needed during our stay from a limited number of spices, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, tupperware, plastic wrap, extra paper towels, etc. We had a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen but we were able to figure out where they were coming from a block it off a bit while we were there.
The location of this property is perfect. It was about 1/4 mile from Honokowai Beach Park (good for families with small children with some shallows that are almost completely protected by a reef) and about 3/4 of a mile to Pohaku Beach Park (good for surfing but with calm shallows). The neighborhood is much quieter than further south near all the resorts but close enough that all of those activities were convenient.
Overall, our stay was great and we definitely recommend this condo. The property managers made everything super easy from check in to check out. Frequent emails made it so you never had to ask questions.

The unit was nice with a great oceanfront view and crashing surf. The outstanding part of our stay was the Vacasa customer service. No fault of their own a pump went out in the water heating system. They were on it by communicating with the building management who was flying parts in to limit inconvenience. I was very impressed as I am in the trades myself. I felt like they were professional and responsive.
The unit was clean and the sheets were Uber soft. Code on the lock box created a simple self checkin. I would do the same vacation in a heartbeat.

We wanted to get a place in a good location, knowing that we would no be spending too much time lounging around. In other words, we didn't need to be in a big resort. instead, we were able to cook our meals, plus have a great view of the ocean. Beaches are close by, and easy walk to shopping. Plenty of parking. There's a good pool and gas BBQ area. The room had everything we needed. Would stay again!

We loved this unit and complex. The unit itself is well appointed with all you need for a great stay - comfortable bed, plenty of towels, and beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers to make your beach days comfortable and stress free. The location was perfect for us - shopping/groceries within a short walk (the fish market has great poke and the Honokowai Deli had amazing food for takeout).
The condo had a nice pool, great BBQ area, and deck seating for fabulous sunset views (where we ate dinner a number of evenings). Although there was some construction happening at the condo complex next door, we were out most days and the noise generally subsided by late afternoon.
We would definitely stay here again if back on Maui.

The steps down into the ocean is so relaxing and when it’s low tide you can sit on the little beach on the side. We saw so many turtles and some great fish this last time. The condo has different beach chairs and tubes you can use so you don’t have to rent them. This visit won’t be my last to this place.

This property was everything we were hoping for, and more! The views are fantastic, right near the water. The unit itself was very tidy and in good order. The T.V. malfunctioned, a quick call to Vacasa and they had a guy out to replace it. Excellent service and great property. Would definitely book again.

This property was everything we were hoping for, and more! The views are fantastic, right near the water. The unit itself was very tidy and in good order. The T.V. malfunctioned, a quick call to Vacasa and they had a guy out to replace it. Excellent service and great property. Would definitely book again.

The condo was water facing and we could see whales from the balcony. It was well furnished and stocked. All that one needed for a 3-4 day was thought of and provided.
When we had a question and called Vacasa, they were extremely prompt, responsive and pleasant.
We enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our week stay! Literally right on the beach! We saw whales from the balcony everyday! We watched the sunset from the balcony as well. At the beach near the front door we saw turtles and seals laying in the sun. Great location near shopping and beaches. There was also a great farmers market down the street. The home itself was clean and inviting. There was even a box of Hawaiian chocolates to greet us. A small touch that I loved. We slept well and listened to the ocean every night. Can’t wait to go back!

You could ask for a better condo - as long as you enjoy sunsets, whale watching, and turtles. 208 is our condo of choice on the entire island. Walking distance to everything you want - Times, deli market, sole whip, and endless beaches.

Loved the condo, the view down the coast was tremendous. The kitchen was well supplied with what we needed for a great stay. Building and grounds were first rate.
Hale Ono Loa. The best experience on Kaanapale/Honokowai.

This place is in a great location, between downtown Lahaina, and Kapaula Bay . Lots of beautiful beaches within minutes. We had a wonderful stay here.

Great condo location and beautiful views of the ocean. We saw so many turtles. They love to feed on the rocks right outside the condo. Short walk to a small beach with fun surf to boogie board in. So happy that the condo had boogie boards for use. Ceiling fans, upright fan and the trade winds made the place comfortable during the hot weather. We enjoyed our evening game of shuffle board by the pool. Thank you.

This condo had lots of amenities. Great for a family or just a couple. AC would have been nice but weather was nice throughout our stay. Quiet, respectful neighbors. Would stay there again on our next trip!

The location was convenient for going to Kapalua bay beach, and easy access to Kaanapali, Lahaina also. All the beach amenities were great. Nice bbq area, pool. Family friendly

I travel a lot so using a place like this is so much nicer than the typical hotel room. My schedule was so full that I wasn't able to take full advantage of the amenities but sure wish I could have. The unit itself was very comfortable.

This condo is “literally” on top of the ocean with sunset views of Lanai and Molokai. Complex is quiet and comfy with quick access to Kaanapali and Kapalua beaches. Everything you need for at least a week stay is provided with a supermarket and local market just down the road. Beach toys, chairs, cooler, fans in storage closets were clutch too! Some very slight improvements might be the screen door to the patio and the fridge made a noticeable humming noise only when cooling cycle was running (did not affect functionality though). As you can see, there was nothing to dislike about this condo. Book it now!

Condo comes with everything you need for at least a weeks stay, complete with beach chairs, cooler, bamboo mat, etc. Ownership very easy and pleasurable to deal with. Book it now!

This unit was nicely updated with newer fixtures and washroom. The unit was exactly as shown in the pictures, no surprises. Only item missing were steak knives.... unit had a great breeze that flowed through the condo and if you love the sound of the waves, this is the place for you.

We enjoyed our stay at #208 Hale Ona Loa. The location on the island was great as well as the location in the building. We loved the closeness of the ocean--the sounds of the waves lulled us to sleep every night and seeing the sea turtles up close was excitng. Whale sightings occured all day long. Sunrises and sunsets were fantastic from the lanai.It would have been nice to have a bit more Hawaiian decor in the condo. A fan on the lanai would be nice. Overall it was a peaceful and relaxing stay in #208

This particular unit is located in the best spot in the building. The sunsets from the lanai were amazing and the sound of the ocean was so soothing all night. Second floor is very convenient and the ocean access is literally 30 steps away! We saw a sea turtle come up on to the beach just 100ft away (next resort over).
We found the best fresh fish at the fish market just down the street within walking distance, also a fantastic coffee shop and a farmer's market in the same area. A few miles up the road is Napili bay, a great place to chill on the beach for the day and snorkel. We swam with plenty of sea turtles there! Cheers!!
