We arrived to a beautiful unit with floor to ceiling views of the pacific. Description was accurate of the property and amenities as well. Pool was wonderful , access to beaches and snorkeling were spot on and could not be better. Many fish and turtles in the reef right out in front of the hotel. Check in was a little rough as far as registering on the computers in the lobby, which I never did. I had to get the pedestrian gate code and parking pass from the receptionist. The biggest recommendation I have is invest in a more comfortable bed and pillows. Both my wife and I were hurting in the morning from the mattress and pillows which I give a 4/10. Everything else was spectacular and a 9/10. At the end of the day , I would definitely recommend this unit or complex to anyone seeking a well priced condo resort.

The room had fantastic views, amenities I didn’t expect (dish soap, body wash, laundry detergent, extra TP, etc). Very clean room and pool. Access to beach was easy and had a great walking path to enjoy nearby restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Amazing views and awesome location. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler to use for beach trips. Super clean, comfy bed, and lots of extras (dish soap, paper towels, coffee filters, evo, seasonings,laundry soap, dryer sheets, shampoo, conditioner and more . . .) This was my 3rd stay at the Mahana and, once again, I was not disappointed.

Great location. Was able to see the moonset from my bed in the morning. Loved when they texted us the place was ready early and we qualified for free early check in. Also enjoyed free parking, pool towels, and the nearby food truck plaza. All in all a great stay!

This was my third visit. Though the views are unparalleled, the furnishings are now worn and well beyond their expiration date. The owners need to make the small investment towards making this the condo the luxury experience it was just two years ago.

Perfect location on the beach. Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows making for a great water view. There is a food truck park within a mile and they had great food. Property was very clean. The beach had very few people on it. Most people were at the property next door on that beach making you feel like you had this beach all to yourself. I would absolutely stay here again. Condo had everything we needed.

The view can't be beat! I have stayed on Maui a few times, and this is the closest to the water that I have found. So beautiful! We saw turtles and whales, from the lanai, and living room, everyday. Everything was spotless, when we arrived, and worked perfectly. The food trucks are a short walk and had a great variety. The air conditioner was much appreciated! I feel like I could live in this home.(wishful thinking) haha Seriously, I would recommend this home, in a heartbeat, and hopefully will be able to return.

Couldn't ask for a better view. The beach is very close, but there are a lot of rocks a short ways out so when we wanted to swim we walked about 3/4 mile south. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable. I slept in the king size bed and my son on the hide-a-bed, which worked fine.Initially had a little trouble getting a response from Vacasa the first time I tried, but after that all was good. One thing I would keep in mind: The only real complaints I could find online had to do with the A/C not working. Worked fine for us, and with those big west-facing windows it was running all day long and at best kept it at about 76, which was fine. But if it hadn't been working it would have been really hot. I inquired before we left to make sure it was going to be working and was told it was, and that it was just serviced. I saw some kind of a note in the condo that said A/C would be unavailable May-June-July. Seems unbelievable. I wouldn't stay there without A/C. But as I said, didn't affect us. When we left there was a sticker on the door that said the A/C was being serviced that day. So something is very odd about the A/C, and I would recommend making sure it is in service. But our stay went well and I really don't have any complaints.

This condo was absolutely perfect and in a great location! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The view from the balcony was incredible...we saw lots of whales breaching and spouting and we saw a big turtle. The sunsets were breathtaking too! The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable and the condo was very clean. The bonus was the access to the balcony from the living room and bedroom. Also, the on-site concierge, Carla, was very helpful and friendly. We went to Duke's Beach House for several meals, since it's a close walk and the view there is awesome. We went scuba diving, snorkeling, took a tour of the Ocean Organic Vodka Distillery (another awesome, panoramic view) and did some shopping in Whaler's Village. We also attended a luau at the Hyatt Regency, down the road. A few other restaurants we enjoyed were Japengo (at the Hyatt Regency), Sea House (at Napili Kai) and Hula Grill (in Whaler's Village). They all had fantasic views! I highly recommend this condo and I hope to go back soon!!!

Under normal circumstances, I’m sure this room is exceptional! We arrived at a time when the AC system was being upgraded or fixed. We were warned ahead of time, and we figured we would be fine, but stepping into the unit was very, very hot!! The temp read 96 degrees inside. The unit did have 2 fans and a swamp cooler?? One of those that you added water to, but this cooler seemed old. I had trouble figuring out how to use it. We ran into a neighbor who said she’s a 20 year old owner and she suggested we leave the front door open and let the air flow through. That worked great!! It cooled off the unit better than the little cooler provided. She also told us it was safe. We stayed in 618, which was at the end of the hall…. So we didn’t have to worry about anyone walking by. I wish we had been told about this alternative way to cool the unit from the beginning. That’s all it needed. Other than that, Vacasa/ The Owners refunded me a bit back on my stay for the inconvenience, and that was appreciated! I would definitely recommend this unit for a stay! The view is exceptional!! I liked that the beach below was never too crowded. We went walking toward the hotel/resort areas and the amount of people on those beaches was outrageous! I was thankful for our area that was less populated and had plenty of room on the beach to swim, lounge & sit without much disturbance. And it wasn’t loud. The food trucks are nearby, The Times grocery store is right across the street. It’s a great area.

Mahana is a quiet resort just on the rim of all the large resorts along the beach boardwalk. The grounds are beautiful and the unit is nice too. Great view from the balcony which you can watch the tides and turtles roll in and out. We will definitely stay again!

My daughter and I decided to go on a “girls” vacation and we sure picked the perfect location. The condo was perfect in every way- it was clean and included everything that we needed for the week. The location is ideal and close to everything. The ocean view is spectacular, it’s mesmerizing to just relax and take it all in. Highly recommend this beautiful rental.

The house was very clean and had some great interiors. The sea views from the apartment are the best you could get anywhere. The service was prompt and Vacasa maintained good communication keeping us up to date.

Fabulous condo on the ocean. Well stocked and very clean. Had everything we could possibly need to prepare breakfast daily and have afternoon cocktails overlooking the ocean. First day, the coffee maker was not working and within hours we had a brand new replacement. Amazing customer service. Unfortunately, A/C did not work for the entire stay and I expect Vacasa or the homeowner will compensate us for this.
Location was great, direct ocean front. Washer/Dryer in unit as well as laundry detergent was a major plus!

We loved that the bedroom had the same view and also access to the balcony. We loved this property!! It was absolutely perfect for two people. They supplied beach chairs and umbrellas which was super great! You can walk the beach in both directions or walk to restaurants via the beach or boardwalk that is conveniently located just off the parking area. Having a washer and dryer was another added bonus. We look forward to being able to stay at this property again!!!

Unit was well furnished and clean. Only complaint is that MB sun screen was broken in the down position. I called Vacasa upon checkin to request the screen’s repair, and it wasn’t during our 5 day stay. I had to rig a temporary solution to keep the screen up.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the most exceptional vacation homes I have ever experienced. Located right next to the stunning Kaanapali Beach, this rental exceeded all my expectations and provided an unforgettable getaway.
First and foremost, the location was absolutely perfect. Waking up each morning and being just steps away from the breathtaking Kaanapali Beach was a dream come true. The proximity allowed me to indulge in the beauty of the ocean, and the added bonus was the incredible sight of turtles right outside the balcony. It was truly magical to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, without having to spend extra on turtle tours. This alone made my stay here priceless.
The vacation rental itself was a gem. It truly felt like a home away from home, offering all the amenities one could ask for. The full kitchen was a delight, allowing me to prepare my own meals and enjoy them in the comfort of a cozy and well-appointed space. The king-sized bedroom provided the utmost comfort and ensured a restful night's sleep, which is essential when you're on vacation.
One of the highlights for me was the convenience of having an in-house laundry and dryer. This made it incredibly easy to pack light and keep my clothes fresh throughout my stay. Additionally, the inclusion of beach umbrellas and chairs was a thoughtful touch. It saved me the hassle and expense of renting them at a resort, which can often be quite pricey. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the effort put into making my stay as enjoyable as possible.
Overall, I cannot speak highly enough about this vacation rental. From its unbeatable location next to Kaanapali Beach to the amazing sightings of turtles right outside the balcony, every aspect of my stay was simply incredible. The full kitchen, king-sized bedroom, in-house laundry, and beach amenities made this rental feel like a complete home. Great location, quiet and private. The beach access was so convenient with clear water to snorkel in. The pool has unlimited guest towels to use too. Loved being able to drive 5 min and be in downtown Lahaina to eat and shop. Highly recommend !!

The condo was exactly as pictured in the listing. The bathroom shower configuration was very convenient for rinsing out swimsuits and snorkel gear. Amazing sunset views, lots of whale watching using our own binoculars which we brought. Airport beach is right outside so easy beach access. Also a short walk to the supermarket, food trucks, and Duke’s.

We had a wonderful stay at Mahana 618 in late December 2022. The construction was not a problem - we heard drilling on one day and there was some scaffolding up on the non-ocean side. Water pressure and water temperature in the shower were a little inconsistent but it sounds like water pressure was a problem in that whole region that week. The views from the condo are incredible and we spent a lot of time watching whales in the distance from the lanai (bring binoculars). Unit is nicely updated. We liked that parking was close and free and that there was no resort fee. We enjoyed snorkeling from the beach about 300 m to the south (just S of the Westin).

The unit itself has breathtaking views from the living room, kitchen and the bedroom. Kitchen has all the essentials, and there’s plenty of space to stretch out & be comfortable. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable enough. Overall I had a pleasant experience despite the construction going on which was initially a concern after reading some reviews. I tried contacting Vacasa by phone and email several times, a few days before I arrived. I am still waiting for a call back! Lol! I was told multiple times a local agent would call and they never did. I then decided to call the front desk to ask about the construction and was told by a rude front desk agent that Unit 618 was privately owned and she couldn’t help me. She kept placing me on hold and wouldn’t let me ask a simple question and practically hung up on me. I have Never experienced this type of service in the numerous times I’ve visited Maui, and I travel to the island once a year. I tried calling the property again hoping for a different person to take my call and luckily the next person was very friendly this time. When she explained that the unit is private, I told her I only wanted to know the status of the construction and not be surprised. I had to speak quickly before she hung up, to let her know Vacasa won’t call me back and is why I needed her help.
When I arrived at the property, the outside had scaffolding and workers walking around. Once inside the unit, I couldn’t tell any construction was going on whatsoever!! Despite all outreach to Vacasa being ignored, the property and unit itself were beautiful and my husband and I had a great time.

Coral reefs in front of condominiums, but 100 yards south is easy sandy beach access. Don't walk on reef you can get hurt and it damages the coral. Always a couple turtles in the surf in front of the condos.

The view is to die for! Unit is fully furnished right down to beach chairs and 3 coolers to choose from, small appliances, casserole dishes, a super comfy bed, lovely furniture, martini mixing set and salad spinner, plastic containers for picnics, etc. The only negatives, other than current maintenance construction at the resort that was noisy, is a need for a coffee maker with a timer off switch, and a broken upper dishwasher rack. VACASA promptly checked on the dishwasher and scheduled a repair once the part arrives. We look forward to booking that exact unit - and would stay again even before all the construction finishes! You won't go wrong with staying here.

The unit is very nice, as a number of reviews have indicated. It is well equipped with kitchen utensils, silverware, and dishes. Microwave, stove, and stovetop worked perfectly. There is an ice maker but we bought bags of ice as well.
The TV, cable system (Spectrum), and DVD/CD player all work well. The internet was not working when we arrived, though a call to Vacasa resulted in a guy coming over and checking it out (it was unplugged so I felt like an idiot, but good to know the company is responsive). Safe is in the closet. The hair dryer works well, and there is a ironing board and iron.
The A/C keeps the unit cool, and there are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. We experienced very warm (!) water in the shower. Plenty of towels and hand towels. Soap is supplied as well as a few complimentary travel size shampoos.
Supplies already in the unit:
A small package of ground coffee, some sweetener and non-dairy creamer (probably 1 days’ worth). 1 package of Tide detergent (small boxes at 99¢ mostly available at Times Square Market). We found salt & pepper and olive oil as well. Someone (wonderful) left a package of Oreos, but they probably won’t be here for long. There are also 2 nice beach chairs, 3 coolers (1 soft-sided), fishing pole, and a beach umbrella. There was no facial tissue - only thing I thought was really “missing”.
We traveled in early to mid July 2021, and there are a number of maintenance activities going on around the property, with the most obvious around the pool deck, of which a portion (about 25%) is not accessible due to the work (picture). There are construction supplies around the parking lots (pictures). Parking is somewhat tight/crowded, although we have always eventually found a parking spot fairly close to the building. There are hotel-style luggage carts (bellman carts) that can be used to carry in your luggage and groceries.
The beach in front of the property is nice and free from seaweed, although it can be a little narrow at high tide. The lounge chairs on the beach side are in shade until midday, but are sheltered from a lot of the wind we experienced at the pool. Some days the wind was pretty ferocious in the pool area.
From the balcony you can see Moloka’i on the right and Lanai on the left. At night you can see the lights of Honolulu in the clouds above Moloka’i. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony at sunset and during the evening, listening to the water and looking up at the stars.

The condo exceeded our expectations. The location was clean, had good parking, easy check in, and well furnished (Included beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc.) The pictures do not do it justice, we were able to watch the sunset from the balcony every night. We would gladly return anytime we return to Maui.

This place has an amazing view. We saw beautiful sunsets from the balcony. It is a bit pricey but the view makes up for it. The resort pool was good not very big though. They also don't have anyone to help with the luggage but they have luggage carts you can use if you ask at the reception. All in all, the place is great. They even had all the beach gear that we could use if needed!

We loved our stay here!! The pictures do not do the view justice...we enjoyed having coffee and drinks out on the balcony and feeling the warmth of the sun as it set. We did not want to leave. The location is perfect!
There was only one issue that we had and it wasn’t that big of a deal since it was only on two occasions; the shower appeared to have no cold water a couple of times. We just dealt with it but for sure had some faster showers those nights 😳 I’m guessing it was just that a lot of folks were showering around the same time and not much you can do about that.

When you walk in you will be amazed. Clean & Shiny with everything you will ever need. The balcony is perfect for enjoying the beautiful sunsets nightly. The bed is very comfortable. So many extra's in this condo from the washer/dryer, beach chairs, wine cooler and so much more. The price per night is a bit pricey, but we would do it again in a heart beat.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The pros: easy check in and parking, heated pool, jacuzzi, towels provided at pool entrance, plenty of lounge chairs, view. The cons: no coffee for first morning, rugs need replacing, could use more wine glasses as it's great condo for couples. In all, would stay again and highly recommend.

The unit is fairly well appointed with most anything you could want or need as basics. It is a great, convenient, uncluttered, spacious layout (we extended our stay in Hawaii and, as this unit was spoken for by the next guests, we had to move; we found another unit within the same building, a Studio, higher up, that was, literally 1/2 the size of this unit; had we initially been in that second place, we would have been completely happy with IT, but, as we had become accustomed to the spaciousness of THIS unit, it was a letdown to have to get cozier).
Nothing beat breakfast and beach-gazing on the lanai...!
And the location, at the Northernmost end of the useable beach, gives the option of relative privacy, relaxation on the lawn or at the pool, or access to the Beach Walk beginningimmediately South of the property and stretching all the way South, the length of Ka'anapali Beach, 1 hour each way to the Hyatt, with Whalers' Village just past the half-way mark; great walking! And the surfing and snorkelling are decent right in front of the building; so convenient.
The shopping centre across the main roadwas adequate, but our favourite soon became the Mon/Wed/Fri Farmers' Market (and permanent store) an additional five minutes walk up the road; great local produce, freshly-made foods and selection of locally-made products and packaged items; best Acai Bowls we found in Maui; and some local craft stores for take-homes and gifts.
Parking was much preferable to us at Mahana than at the 3 other places we needed to park at, daily (visiting family and friends); there was always a convenient, available spot and walking distances were quite minimal (compared to Westin, which was a long walk to the front entrance, let alone within the complex...and the Honua Kai, which was both a longer walk and not well lit, so it felt kind of isolated and even creepy); never a problem at Mahana.
We did have an issue that needed to be addressed; the management team responded in a timely fashion and came up with a makeshift solution that they put in place quickly and seamlessly; as we were checking out, the permanent fix was being done -- so, subsequent guests should not be inconvenienced at all.
All in all, this is a lovely place with a nice layout and an amazing view.

30 years ago we came to Hawaii (Maui) on our honeymoon and had a glorious time. We wanted to come back on our 30th year to celebrate. I researched for hours looking for something in the same area that would be close to what we had 30 years ago. (We couldn’t remember the name of the place we stayed). When we pulled into parking lot we were ecstatic to see that I had actually booked THE SAME PLACE where we stayed 30 years ago. (Different condo - same place). The view was breathtaking just like we remembered. This place is worth every penny! Clean, luxurious, has everything you’ll need to enjoy paradise.
We were, however disappointed in the seafood restaurant choices. Felt they were very pricey with minimal selection and small servings. If you want a great price with delicious and awesome serving sizes - try Paia Fish Market on Front Street.

What a wonderful place to call home while on vacation! The condo looks exactly what you see in pictures. Though the pictures don’t give the sunsets justice. The sunsets are the most beautiful ones you’ll ever see right from the condo. Get your cameras ready!All utensils are good quality and of excellent variety. Nice extras such as a blender, tea kettle and Tupperware to name a few. Greatly appreciated the beach chairs provided. There is a spot in the parking lot to spray down your car, free of charge. No need to drive around Maui in a dirty car. Times Supermarket is a great place to shop (across the street). Everyone usually loads up at Costco but this supermarket has everything and at great prices. Not inflated like most grocery stores near tourist areas. Excellent snorkeling just down the beach. No need to drive anywhere or pay big money for a charter. The grounds are kept immaculate. The pool area is washed down everyday. The bbq area is well maintained and has sinks and soap to clean your bbq supplies. Elevators are fast, no waiting forever. Easy check in. Very relaxed. The a/c is on all the time to keep up with the afternoon sun , make sure to shut your blinds during the afternoon. Bed is comfortable. Lots of towels. There is a starter kit of dish soap,tissue, toilet paper, shampoo, lotion, soap. A nice welcome touch of Maui coffee and chocolate macadamia nuts. There was salt and pepper and a few extra spices left behind from previous renters. Great location on the island. Enjoy your stay😊🌴🍍

This was our third year in a row in Maui and this was by far our favorite place we’ve stayed. The view from the room and bedroom is outstanding. The kitchen is nice and not too tight. Comes with two beach chairs, a Minnie Mouse umbrella (that stood up the the heavy winds), a boogie board, and two different size coolers. We can’t wait to come back to this condo.

Its hard to describe the beauty of this location. Compared to other condos in this area this complex offers the best ocean front views. While it doesn't have the big pools and activities like the Honua Kai next door, it makes up for that with its unobstructed views of the ocean. We found ourselves at the beach in front of the condo everyday. We decided not to visit any of the other beaches in the area because of how convenient it was getting to and from the beach. The snorkeling was great, saw a sea turtle almost everyday we went out. The condo itself was very comfortable and felt like home. The pictures are very accurate and the views are unbelievable. The first sunset you see at this condo will leave you in awe. We cant wait to return!

Super clean place, awesome location, and very convenient. The pictures of the interior are pretty accurate... except for the view.. that view was way better than expected.
Parking was easy, check-in was easy, and it's a pretty close drive to the great snorkeling spots like Honolua bay. When you go behind the resort, you can't really use the beach there because of the rocks, but you can literally walk 3 minutes south and get a great spot. You can hop in the water and probably see a turtle or two. Black Rock beach is too far from here (probably 30 min walk), so we never went. We found the beach close to us (north part of Airport beach) to be awesome enough. It was never super crowded there.
There's also a legit food truck area in walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again.

This Condo has the most amazing view right in front of you from your living room or bedroom. We slept with the door open and fell asleep every night to the ocean waves. It was amazing! The condo has everything you need. There are beach accessories in the closet and boogie boards under the bed. The one thing it lacked was beach towels which they forgot to bring, after several calls they did deliver some 3 days into our stay and they were old and nasty so we bought some to use.

Our room was so nice. The VIEW IS AMAZING! You will just want to sit and watch for whales and turtles which you can see from your balcony and front room with the floor to ceiling windows. The condo is equipped with all the things you will need! There are beach toys in the closet and boogie boards under the bed, which we didn’t find until the last day but they were there. The room was perfect for us! We would definitely come back to the Mahana and stay again. The grounds are beautiful and location is amazing. We walked to dinner at Dukes just down the board walk several times and went to the food truck court next door. That place is a must while staying there! The pool and amenities were always nice and clean and the staff was super nice. I want to come back already!

It was cool and comfortable, and there were a TON of amenities that made it feel like home. Having a kitchen was a great perk that hotels usually don’t offer, and there was a good amount of space to lounge around in. Every view was oceanfront, and we couldn’t get enough of it! It was also a very quiet complex, which made it the perfect getaway for relaxing. It was so hard to leave, but we’re hoping to come back soon!

The view was truly breathtaking. We could see whales and dolphins all day long. We appreciated the washer and dryer and full kitchen. The eye to detail was fantastic! The room contained plenty of books and travel guides to help us get the best out of the island. We loved all the other extras that came with the room as well (speaker, mac nuts, water filter, beach chairs, and more).The bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely time and we hope to come back soon.

This condo is stunning. We’ve stayed at other Mahana condos and overall this was the best. Of course, the views and sounds of rolling surf rocking us to sleep we’re amazing. 618 had a great shower and kitchen. The only updates needed are fixing the bathroom pocket door so it completely closes, outlets for phones on or near the bedside stands, and the option of at least one lounge chair on the lanai. Would definitely stay in 618 again!

Beautiful spot, we fell asleep listening to the surf every night. The condo was stocked with all the things we needed to make our stay convenient, coffee, cooking tools as we made our breakfasts, beach towels, and all of those things. Our view was gorgeous, we watched the turtles swim by from the balcony, and saw several whales breaching in the distance. Thanks for making our first visit to Maui so easy!

Great condo. Close to everything you need. Times grocery store across the street and a great food truck area just steps out of your door. Easy to walk to. The room was clean and had everything we needed. While we were there It was very hot without much breeze. The condo stayed nice and cool. Beautiful deck area overlooking the beach. The vacasa guest services was top notch. Renting the condo was straight forward with simple check-in instructions. After confirming my rental and leading up to my trip, I received an email reminder about my approaching rental date. On the date of arrival, I received a welcome text with my rental codes, directions to the condo, and contact phone number should I need assistance.
Upon arrival, we walked into a beautiful and clean unit. We were provided with plenty of towels, complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner, and box of Maui's delicious chocolate almonds and Maui's own coffee to start. And there was complimentary laundry detergent for the week. There were plenty of utensils for your cooking needs. Although, the 10 inch frying pan needs replacing. It is warped and does not lie flat on the cooking surface. There were snorkeling gear in the closet but the only mask that worked was one for a youth.
I recommend as in a previous post that the sofa bed mattress needs replacing.
Other than that, it is a wonderful unit. The view is amazing. I could see turtles swimming close to shore from the lanai. This is the second time I have stayed at Mahana, the first was in a different unit. I won't hesitate to rent there again.

We just returned home from a 2 week stay here and were sad to leave. The decor is exactly as shown in the 360 virtual tour and is an accurate representation. Overall a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Now for some FYI tidbits and other reviewer concerns.
The beach gear is located in the utility closet with the exception of the boogie boards which are UNDER the bed. The chairs are great quality with storage for your extra things and a small cooler too. We purchased pool noodles for snorkeling and left them behind for logistic reasons.
The shower has a half glass enclosed wall and water will sprinkle on the tile floor. We found that the floor mat and a little shower head redirection worked well. It's nice and roomy with a hand held as well.
The ant baits are visible in the kitchen area, We did NOT see a single ant in this unit our entire 2 week stay and it was never an issue.
The cable had no instructions for use and took a couple of days of frustration to figure out. If you're traveling with kids, they'll figure it out in two minutes. For the rest of us .....source HDMI 2 is your starting point.
Lastly, for educational purposes, there is push for those choosing to enjoy the beautiful ocean/coral reefs to purchase REEF SAFE SUNBLOCK. Most sunblocks have coral killing ingredients in them. Options exist.
We're sure you will have a wonderful time during your stay. Try some coconut candy and/or a Maui gold pineapple for a delicious treat. Aloha

We were impressed from the moment we walked into unit 618! We arrived after dark and the lights and A/C were on. The large picture window and two big sliders that lead to the very private lanai are amazing. All you see from there is the ocean, beach and lovely palm trees! As for cleanliness, place was spotless. Kitchen was perfect for making morning coffee and breakfast. Frig has an icemaker, so that was convenient! Furniture in living area was comforable too. The bed is pretty comfortable and not broken down. The bathroom vanity area is on the small size, but with a little planning, no issues for two of us. The washer/dryer was so nice to have and they supply the soap. The twoTommy Bahama beach chairs, igloo cooler and thick beach towels made our times on the beach very comfortable! As for the Mahana, the place is great! Quiet and not a ton of people all around. There is a free concierge service available in the lobby to help with reservations, etc. The pool area is small but nice, but since we are not poolside dwellers, it did not matter. You can leave the pool area and walk right down to the beach in 1 minute! The Mahana has easy access to the North end of boardwalk that travels all the way South to Black Rock/Sheraton. There are many restaurants and other beach access points along the way. We enjoyed Dukes several times which is a 5 min walk next door! You can snorkel off the beaches right here and walk a long ways on the beach if you choose! From our lanai we saw sea turtles poking their heads out of the surf, whales spouting, a pod of dolphins go by and a curious Maui mongoose playing around in the bushes below our window down by the grass area as well as many varieties of birds! You can easily drive to many places due to the location close to Hwy 30. Town of Lahaina is like 7 miles south and Kapalua and Napili are just a few miles to the North. There are stores, groceries, restaurants and other service oriented places close by. We rented gear from the Snorkel Store and they were great to work with. Parking was never an issue, even when returning later into the evening.
Overall, we feel that you get a LOT for what you pay for here at Mahana unit 618. We were extremely satisfied and will surely come back to this very unit when we return to Maui next time! It helped make our 30th wedding anniversary a perfect and relaxing experience!!

Have some recommendations for things that can be updated, like extending shower glass and new sleeper couch, but that being said we really enjoyed the stay and would certainly return those enhancements would just make it five star!

The condo is located in an ideal location, making it possible to drive to desired locations on both the north and south side of the Mahana within 10 minutes, such as Kapalua Bay, and Black Rock. We loved having access to the balcony both from the living room and bedroom, where we would often go out to sit, and take in the beauty of the ocean, and the panoramic view of the surrounding area. We enjoyed snorkeling right in front of our building. To make getting in the water easier, we would head south, towards Dukes to access the water in a sandier area. Or you can drive 10 minutes north to snorkel at Kapalua Bay, or 10 minutes south to snorkel at Black Rock. I can't wait to be able to stay here in the future!

Lovely condo and great view. The Mahana does not have extensive grounds like some other resorts, but it never felt crowded either. Even though the pool area was small, getting a lounge chair was always easy. Over all, this is a great place to spend some time.

This apartment is exactly as advertised. It is very nicely decorated and very clean.
We loved the fact it is st the end of the boardwalk so at the quiet end of the beach, but still not too far away!
The view is to die for, listening to the sound of the waves at night is so peaceful. We had our 1yo daughter with us and I felt very safe having her out on the balcony, which was a prerequisite for us.
We would def stay here again. If you are flying from Honolulu check out Mokulele Airlines, we flew into Kapalua which is just up the road from the apartment (about 5 mins drive) and it was a 9 seater plane so almost a tourist/scenic flight!

This unit is beautiful and well appointed. Everything is provided including a W & D and laundry detergent. Very thoughtful. Beautiful finishing throughout and the view and location amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo location is amazing. It sits right on the water with expansive views. Whether you're laying in bed, cooking in the kitchen, in the living room, or on the lanai - all you see is water. All you hear are the waves. The unit was clean and had everything you needed. They even brought in a rice cooker that I requested. The unit had an ice chest, chairs, umbrellas, snorkel/fins, boogie boards - it was really well stocked with everything I needed. I had a few questions while I stayed here and the local staff were more than accommodating and took care of everything I needed. The property itself is nice - plenty of parking, nice pool/spa, grounds were well maintained. I would definitely recommend this unit/property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

We have stayed at the Mahana at least 12 times for over a month each time -- twice now in 618. There are no views like The Mahana's all ocean-front units. Great whale watching (November through March) -- coupled with unparalleled Lanai and Molokai Views. The Mahana is located within easy reach of all that Maui has to offer from Haleakala to Hana and Lahaina (traffic congestion permitting.) there are a large number of excellent restaurants in the area, form Mama's Fish House to Merriman's. The Times Market, right across the street will supply all of your grocery and drink needs. Right down the street is the Okazuya Deli which is one of the best kept secret ways to have a great meal in your condo for a reasonable price! Mahi Mahi with lemon caper sauce is terrific.

My wife and I recently completed a 7 night stay at the Mahana, Room #618, and it was a wonderful experience! The listing description of the unit is very accurate with regards to the location, layout, and amenities. You are truly "ocean front" as you can literally throw a rock into the ocean from the balcony, it's that close to the water. The view was spectacular! If you love ocean sunsets you will love this unit. We slept with the sliding glass doors open every night to enjoy the sounds of the waves below. The entire facility was very clean and well-maintained. There were absolutely no issues with the self check-in upon our arrival.
Lahania is a perfect location for all island activities. It really doesn't t take very long to get to just about anywhere on Maui. During our stay we participated in scuba diving and snorkeling; the sunrise Haleakala bicycle ride; parasailing, ziplining; and eating a several of the areas fantastic restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to anyone choosing to stay on Maui.

You never know if a rental you see on line is really what you are going to get, this was exactly what was shown and it was perfect. From the stunning views to the fully equipt kitchen. There were spices for cooking, all the pots and pans one would need, paper towels, coffee creamer and even laundry detergent. When we walked in the front door the room was spotless, and the view was just amazing! The Lanai was perfect for breakfast, dinner and a glass of wine as the sun went down. The king size bed was very comfortable. In the morning you could see sea turtles in the water below. Everything has been updated - it was just perfect. The beach had been eroded by recent storms but we made it work. If you wanted a larger beach just about a 5-7 minute walk down Kaanapali Beach you could find all the space you needed. We used the BBQ grills several nights and found this to be a great place to meet travelers from around the world. The building facility was well maintained and clean, and the staff was very friendly. I cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

This is our first time visiting Hawaii, and a "must" for us was a place with ocean view. The views of this apartment are simply amazing. You almost feel you are in the water. The place almost feels like a hotel in terms of towels that they leave, comfortable bed, and so on. I'm always concern about comfort sleeping, and the bed, quietness and how much the AC cools down the apartment makes it for a perfect sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped, and everything available is in excellent condition so you feel like cooking. The beach is great, just a few steps, and you can do good snorkeling here. If you want better snorkeling a 10 min drive north to Napali will do it. There's a nice farmer market that you can get almost anything and very good organic stuff as well. We are coming back to Maui and will stay here again!

We spent our honeymoon there and found the place to be perfect. From the décor to the location (only one steps from beach) and the Lanai was incredible to view sunsets and eat breakfast. There is a guest book that folks from the past 3 years gave hints and suggestions - read the first night and not the last like we did LOL. Thank you for fully equipping the condo with beach towels, laundry detergent....full kitchen with all the supplies....King bed with awesome pillows...ironing supplies helpful...even umbrella's! I think the swivel chairs by the floor to ceiling windows were just ....beyond words. Will recommend this to everyone!!! (Side note - front office and concierge were friendly and helpful - like a 4 diamond hotel!)

Your unit is outstanding! Has everything you need to make your vacation the best. One thing that I recommend you look at is the reception of the TV in the living room. I would definitely come back to your unit --- will be making decision about this year soon.

Friends of ours suggested staying at the Mahana because of the excellent location and we found this perfect condo through the website Kaanapali Beach Rentals. We could not have been more pleased. The views of the ocean and beach and other islands are truly spectacular. This particular condo is beautifully renovated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The king bed was super comfy, the kitchen is a dream to be in and all the finishes including the granite counters and stone tiling in the shower was appreciated. Having snorkel gear and a cooler to take to the beach was convenient as well. The only thing I think missing was a few of those folding beach chairs that a lot of people were carrying. We left one chair that we used for one week behind for the next guests. I would absolutely return to this unit and have recommended it to everyone I know who is thinking about going to Maui.

Everything about this condo was absolutely perfect!! It is tucked away in its own private oasis yet close enough to all the activities and restaurants along Kaanapali Beach. We especially enjoyed Duke's oceanfront restaurant which is located next door and our daily walks along the beachfront boardwalk.
The owners have thought of everything in this beautifully remodeled condo. The kitchen was fully stocked, the linens were plush, the bed was heavenly and it was spotless (I'm a neat freak so it definitely passed my high standards). This condo is direct oceanfront which means you can hear the waves. I tell you this because most of the large resorts are set far back off the ocean. So, if you want to enjoy an unobstructed view of the morning sunrise or sunset from your private balcony or, better yet, lounging in bed with your morning coffee then this is the condo for you,,,,the view is PRICELESS!!
Additionally, the staff at Kaanapali Beach Rentals were "First Class" and I would definitely recommend this property and rental company to anyone visiting the beautiful island of Maui.
I look forward to another stay at this property in the near future.
