Really lovely condo! Lots of light and gets a wonderful oceanside breeze. Beds are comfortable and condo cools down at night, so we slept well even in late July. Condo was also clean, and kitchen was well-stocked. Views are beautiful, and we also saw many nene on the condo complex lawn. The complex also has a private entrance to a lovely beach below.
The only issue we ran into is that the living room fan squeaks a bit if you run it while winds are strong and windows are open. (I ended up turning the fan off at night to prevent squeaking.)

What a joy it was to stay in this inviting and comfortable unit. It felt like being a guest at someone's abode. Everything was set up for the kind of easy and comfort you would want in your own home. Modern but very cozy decor, excellent beds and linens and a very well equipped kitchen. The biggest surprise was the lanai and views from the breakfast nook - absolutely beautiful - even better than the listing's photos. We've had some recent disappointments with other properties not living up to their billing, so we were cautiously optimistic, but this unit far exceeded our expectations. We'd return (and hope to) in a heartbeat. Thank you.

We loved the location in Princeville, with quick access to 1 Hotel, a nearby beach and the town of Hanalei. The condo is nicely appointed, with sophisticated natural and neutral furnishings. We enjoyed the pool and spa that were very close to the condo. The Pali Ke Kua property is nicely landscaped and beautiful!

The location of this condo is absolutely ideal. Perfectly situated on the top of the bluff, close to a lush path down to a small little beach. The lanai is in the sun in the morning when you are ready to run out to go play, and perfectly cool in the late afternoon, with trade breezes and ocean views. We had a fantastic stay.

Great location in the north of the island with a spectacular view. Extremely easy to find, ample parking, good accommodations. Beds were very comfy and kitchen was laid out well. Complex had couples and families, but none were disturbing or noisy. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice unit w/ a view looking east & north over the ocean. Pali ke kua is a great location in princeville, near the hotel & hotel beach. There’s also a steep paved path down to the water & beach in pali ke kua.

Property and location are great. Wonderful views and nice community. Property management, Vacasa, however was horrible! I messaged a couple times PRIOR to our trip and couldn’t get a response. They finally responded the last day of our 7 day trip. I also responded to their email asking how check in was letting them know a few items that were missing. I had to go buy these things as they didn’t respond until the day before we were leaving. It’s unfortunate for such a nice property to have such poor property management.

This unit was perfectly placed to explore various aspects of Kauai. 10 min to Hanalei Bay, which is where we spent the majority of our days. It was great to leave the busyness of the that area and relax on the quiet more relaxed location of Princeville. The porch sunrise became a natural start to our day and I will remember those for a long time to come. This place exceeding my expectations and I would absolutely stay again.

Beach down paved path felt private as no one else there. Slight glitch with Vacasa check in but their urgent phone number for key code answered quickly and Vacasa appropriate with apology.

Cozy Beach Condo with an Ocean View!

My wife and I stayed here four nights during our honeymoon and absolutely loved our stay here. The condo is true to the pictures with a wonderful view of the ocean from the lanai. Short drive to Princeville Center and Hanalei for shopping and dining as well as walking distance to many beaches like Hideaway. The pizza pub in the community was a nice touch for when we weren't feeling like going out or cooking. Landscaping can be a bit noisy during the morning/early afternoon but always subsided by late afternoon. Overall we are very happy with our stay here and hope to return soon!

Noelani (host) was very responsive when we let her know it would be nice to have a lamp or two--she went out that day and bought 2 lamps and had them in place when we returned. She was very open to questions and eager to make things perfect for us.

We had a fantastic stay at the unit in Pali Ke Kua! We loved the community and it’s proximity to the ocean, 5 min walk to the Hanalei bay sunset viewing area, princeville resort, as well as the 5 min drive to the princeville market.
It was so convenient to have a washer/dryer and dishwasher in our unit, especially since it was a bit muddy on the island during our daily hiking adventures.
The kitchen was nicely sized for two people but the only downfall is that the stove is really weak and some of the utensils / cooking ware could use an update, however we still managed to cook breakfast everyday and enjoy nice meals while also enjoying the ocean view from the kitchen table.
We liked having the balcony doors and slatted windows open for fresh breeze which really kept the place cool in the day and night.
We look forward to coming back!!

The unit is in great working order. Located off to the corner of the property and on the 2nd floor, this unit has unobstructed views of the golf course and ocean. Updated kitchen is also a benefit since most other units in the complex haven't been updated. Only minor complaint was all the glasses and tupperwear in the cabinets had been put back without being cleaned prior to our stay, so we had to run everything through the dishwasher prior to using it.

This is a great unit for a small family or couple. Great split level with nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The open plan for living, dining, cooking and lanai make it feel very spacious. The view from the dining room can't be beat - wonderful trade winds make sure you are comfortable and seeing birds, whales, rainbows is a great way to start your day. Please note that the second bedroom is a loft and the outside light shines in a bit so if you are a light sleeper an eye mask is recommended. We enjoyed the great pool in PKK complex and walking to watch wonderful sunsets around the corner. This is a perfect home base if you love the north shore like us; a quick drive to Anini for family friendly swimming walking the Princeville paths, visiting the playground and easy access to Foodland to make our meals in the condo. Wonderful property managers and amenities (even baby/toddler items) in the condo make you feel right at home. Highly recommend Bali Hai and PKK 233!

We had a wonderful time in Pali Ke Kua 233. From the moment we arrived we were settled, the apartment boasts beautiful views and has all the comforts of home. We loved the beach in front of the apartments and spent most our time swimming, snorkelling and lying in the sand. This rental was exactly what we needed and were looking for! We were traveling as two couples, and one infant. The downstairs room was perfect for the couple traveling with the baby and the bonus was to find a pack n play in the downstairs closet! Each couple had their own bathroom and space. While the upstairs is a loft everyone was on the same schedule/program and had the privacy needed. While the view can't be beat, and we understand sea spray comes with the territory, it would be great for the windows to have a good exterior cleaning now and again to enjoy the view even more.

We loved the condo at Pali Ke Kua so much that we're renting it again in December! Being a corner unit, the views are awesome. It's a front row view of the ocean, cliffs and beauty of the north shore. This condo has everything; beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, washer and dryer, everything you want in a kitchen, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with plush towels and great internet service! Everything is super clean, updated and looks like it is lovingly maintained by the owners. Pali Ke Kua is the nicest condo development in Princeville, walking distance to St. Regis and beaches and minutes from Hanalei and Haena (Tunnels). Love our time in this condo and can't wait to get back!

We rented #233 for our daughter's family who were traveling half-way around the world to meet us in Kauai. Management at Pali Ke Kua and Bali Hai could not have been more welcoming and helpful, especially with the odd arrival and departure hours for international flights. The Aloha spirit was marvelous! And the unit lives up to the beautiful views as seen in the photos!

Our first time with VRBO, location, location, location. CONDO is a corner unit, oceanview, not a view of BaliHai, but that's ok. The unit was very clean, nice ocean breeze, ceiling fans only no A/c it was perfect. Kitchen was fully stocked, cleaning supplies available, and laundry soap and washer and dryer was nice so we can wash our towels, and some of our clothes. LISA from Bali hai realty was very nice. Met us to bring us leis.

233 is a lovely end unit condo with excellent ocean views. This is our 4th visit to Pali Ke Kua and we always book a 2nd floor end unit to maximize views and minimize noise from neighbors. I use a map of the complex I found online to understand each unit's orientation. The kitchen and baths of 233 are tastefully updated with quality appliances. The bedroom plus loft design work for a family but would be less suitable for two couples. The condo is in very good shape considering the high occupancy rate. There is no AC but ceiling fans and trade winds kept us pretty comfortable. Few units in this complex have AC. The beach below is beautiful but has a rocky and slippery shoreline. It is suitable for experienced swimmers/snorkelers, we saw sea turtles there everyday. The beach at the St Regis is sandy and good for swimming and is more kid friendly. Stop at Costco in Lihue to stock up on staples before you head to the north shore. Foodland market in Princeville is very good but pricey. They had excellent fresh fish which we barbequed. The pizza at the onsite Hideaway Pizza Pub was tasty and convenient for take out.

We just returned from our stay in Kauai, an island we have been to at least a dozen times. I think we absolutely would say this was our favorite trip, and our favorite place we have stayed. First off, Lisa from Bali Hai was amazing...she helped coordinate the logistics for the owners. She was super accommodating and we could not have been happier. Often times, the pictures look SOO much better than the actual place. This time, the actual condo was better than expected. Great location, super nice amenities, well appointed, and comfortable! When we come back next year, if this condo is available, this is where we will be staying! Thanks again Lisa!

We arrived at our condo and we're greeted with a beautiful bouquet of tropical flowers and an outstanding view. WOW! Beautiful accommodations, grounds, location, and view. VERY clean and in good condition. Good bird watching. Wonderful private beach just a path away with lovely snorkeling. Excellent grocery store and restaurants within two miles. We would stay again without question. Beach towels, chairs and umbrella provided. Lots of linens and wonderful to have a washer and dryer too. Kitchen is well equipped. We ate all but three meals in 7 days at the condo. We would stay there again, and again.

The location was spectacular and the accomodations were wonderful, there was a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers on our arrival which gave it a nice touch. The only thing that I would recommend fixing is the screen doors on the sliding glass door, there was no way to open or close them without them coming off the track - we tried numerous times to fix them but without success.

The home was in great condition and is in a wonderful location high on the Princeville cliffs. A couple of comments: We experienced some wild weather while there, and as a result the windows were blanketed with salt spray and became almost opaque. Because it's a second floor unit, we could not reach the affected windows to clean them. I would recommend that a long-handled squeegee be stored in the unit, or a window cleaning service be retained to minimize similar future occurrences. Also, when the lock box outside of the front door of the house failed to operate properly were locked outside with no way in. Bali Hai Realty responded immediately to our call and we were able to access the home. Great service!!

This is our 3rd time to Kauai, and 1st stay at Pali Ke Kua. We love the north shore and always stay in Princeville. Unit 233 was excellent value and one the the nicest we viewed. It was beautifullly renovated, spotless and perfect for our family of 4. Beds were very comfortable, and sleeping with no A/C was not an issue(even in the loft bedroom) with the great fans and wonderful tradewinds. The Lanai was a little small but still nice. We missed not having a "real BBQ" on the lanai(there is an electric one on lanai) But we bought a bag of charcoal and went to Hanalei and Anini beaches a couple of times to bbq, and had a great time. Pool and hot tub was lovely and never busy. We had a great stay here!Mahalo

We loved this condo! We spent four days to start our trip on the south shore at a wonderful resort (where we got married) and then spent another four days here at this peaceful, relaxing condo with the best view of the ocean! It was so nice to hear the ocean at night from our balcony, and watch the albatross' glide by - amazing! We even saw a few humpback whales out in the ocean - late in the season for that, so what a treat! All in all, loved our stay! The location is perfect for north shore beaches, easy day trips or even visit a couple in one day. The condo also has a walkway (paved but steep) down to your own private beach (part of Hideaways) where we had the best snorkeling during our whole trip. Thank you, VRBO! We'll be back!
