Hale Lani Lei

We had a beautiful stay in this house. The location is fantastic and we enjoyed the small hike to Queen's Bath. The house is well stocked and had a great variety of beach gear to borrow. The keypad to get in and out of the house was a bit finnicky and I couldn't find a dust pan to save my life, but otherwise it was a flawless stay!

right next to queens bath trail and close drive to hanalei.

We had a lovely stay at this home. Check in was easy and simple. The home was centralized to our vacation fun, as our main focus was the beach. The home was supplied with many beach time necessities including beach towels, ice boxes, children’s sand toys and more.

Lovely spacious home in a very nice community.

A lovely and comfortable home in a beautiful community.

Just didn’t find a beach within walking distance, so that shouldn’t be advertised. Other than that, the house was great!

Nice quiet location , driving distance to beautiful beaches.

Beautiful house and wonderful location.

Perfect vacation property...all amenities and equipment to have fun in the sun or in the water. Great location, very high end.

We very much enjoyed staying here. The size worked well for our family of 4 including 2 adult children. The mountain views and a sliver of ocean view from the lanai were beautiful and we enjoyed having morning coffee there. We were excited to have found a bigger house that was not sitting right on top of the golf course and this delivered. There was no shortage of amenities - plenty of toiletries, towels, beach gear etc. Their hospitality gift of snacks and Kauai coffee was a pleasant and delicious surprise. We visited in August, during the hotter part of the summer, and the house was comfortable with the A/C and fans running. The location was great. We took the advice of other reviewers and made the short walk down the road to the Queen's Bath trailhead. They were right. Queen's Bath is a must-do as it's absolutely stunning. From Hale Lani Lei, it's short drives to the Botanical Gardens (we highly recommend) and the towns of Hanalei and Kilauea (Palate and The Bistro restaurants and Kilauea Lighthouse). We would stay here again.

We loved the Hale Lani Lei house! It is on a great street with a lovely view of the ocean. The house has lots of beach chairs / snorkel gear / beach toys and beach towels. The kitchen was well equipped with pans / plates / glassware and nice big refrigerator. We stayed at Hale Lani Lei in July and the a/c units worked very well. We were very comfortable during our visit.

We loved the rental. The house was located in a great neighborhood with a wonderful view from the lanai. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the a/c units all worked well. we asked to stay an extra night and the management company was easy to contact and accommodating. The house had a great supply of snorkeling equipment and beach chairs. Great vacation house for a family.

What a wonderful time at this lovely home. We would definitely stay here again. The area is quiet and the house has an amazing view of the sunset.

Well equipped, beautiful house. The house is spacious and includes everything needed for a great trip including beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, an abundance of regular towels and all other supplies like paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent, and laundry soap. It’s refreshing to arrive at a rental after a long trip and not have to worry about toilet paper! We had a few small things (light out in the shower) that we contacted the management company for and they responded immediately and had everything fixed in a few hours. The man that came to the house was friendly and helpful. The air conditioning worked great but the house has so many windows, we barely used it. We had a wonderful trip and would recommend this rental. Also, you can walk to Queen’s Bath and Hideaways beach which are both incredible. Definite perk!

Beautiful home, it worked perfectly for all three couples and the two teenagers! Loved having coffee every morning on the lanai and enjoying the view. Very peaceful neighborhood!

Great place to stay! Home was clean and had everything we needed including hand soap for the sinks and soap for the dishwasher and washing machine, shampoo, conditioner and paper towels/toilet paper. Plenty of bath, dish and beach towels as well. There were bikes, boogie boards and beach chairs. The kitchen had everything including a blender to make drinks! The house is in a great location in Princeville. We were able to walk to the cliffs on the ocean and see the sunset! The staff at Vacasa are wonderful to work with - great with setting everything up & answering all my questions! Vacasa also called us when we arrived to the home make sure we had everything we needed!

This home was amazing! It fit our whole family and had plenty of room with a view of the golf course and ocean! Clean and easy to get to! Would highly recommend this property for anyone staying on the North Shore!

overall just a wonderful stay would recommend this house highly

The house was beautiful and we could not have asked for a better location to beach and Queens Bath. Quiet, relaxing, gorgeous views, friendly neighbors. LOVED IT!

This home is beautiful, comfortable, near all the North Shore beaches and Hanalei. Kitchen is well equipped. Love the deck off the living room. Great for a family vacation. I highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic time. Rooms as advertised, very clean. Great location. Bikes need repair is the only complaint

This property was fantastic! The amenities were wonderful. Kitchen well appointed. Check-in seamless. Property very clean & well stocked with essentials for comfortable living. If we return to Kauai we will definite stay again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Kauai! The house was perfect, had so much to offer and in our opinion was in the best location on the island. We absolutely LOVED staying in the north near such cool little towns, some of our favorite beaches and amazing hikes. The house was literally right next to one of Kauai's coolest sites, Queen's Bath which was one of our favorites. The house itself was beautiful! It had a nice deck, very comfortable beds, AC in all rooms, Smart TV's with Netflix, a well equipped kitchen, and our favorite added bonus were the bikes. It also came with so many other added things such as beach toys, plenty of beach towels, board games, etc. During our 10 days in Kauai we stayed in another rental property, a hotel and here and this was by far the best place we stayed in Kauai! We definitely look to stay here next time we're there!

I loved everything about this home. Wish I had seen the activity gear for use in the garage sooner! I have given it 5 stars even though one bedroom was too hot - however, I suspect they got the cooling unit in it repaired so that should not be an issue. The house is very well maintained, very clean. The neighborhood is great for walks, close to many beaches. You will love it.

The house was perfect for our family of 5! Can't say enough about the location - Princeville is a beautiful place, close to several amazing beaches; our fave being Hideaways Beach! Our boys golfed at Maki - amazing views and beautiful course within walking distance to the house. House was well stocked with supplies - beach towels and snorkel equipment were two key things they provide! Roosters woke us up every morning which was perfect - ready to start the day's adventures. Kauai is a gem - gets under your skin for sure. We want to come back and would love to stay again in this awesome home!

Beautiful home, lots of room. The views from the front porch are amazing. Lots of beach gear. You wake up to birds chirping and roosters. The access to Queens Bath is right down the street. Access to sandy beaches is a few miles away. Princeville is so beautiful. My only problem is with the carpet in the master bedroom, carpet needs a good cleaning. The living room couch is patio furniture so not that comfy. I definitely recommend this rental.

We loved this property! The house is very well maintained and in a beautiful neighborhood. The layout of the house is very nice with 2 master suites, one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen is well stocked, and a foodland grocery store just a couple miles away. We would definitely come here again. Princeville is a gorgeous place. I would, however, recommend staying on the north shore in the summer months rather than winter. We drove to the south shores a lot to get to a warmer beach and out of the rain. But even with that, this house is so great, and I would do it again!

Good

We picked the right place for the eight of us in three generations. Lots of room and privacy at the same time. Nice to have warm rain for a change, and after the first day, no one noticed. Great place for a great stay.

This house location is amazing!!! It was so nice to be able to walk to queens bath! We had 2 couples and 2 kids and the house was perfect for us!

Steps always from Queens bath! Also, right across the street from the St Regis golf course. We snuck out there to take pictures on the lookout at sunset. The house was the perfect size for three couples and a baby. Grocery shopping, beaches, hikes, stores... all within a short drive. They also have a garage full of gear, chairs, bikes, etc, which was a huge bonus.

The house met all our needs- kitchen, living space, WiFi, washrooms, lani, enough bedrooms, washer & dryer, entertainment centres, BBQ. The staff was very helpful with all our questions. The bouquet and welcome card reflected the efforts made to prepare this rental accommodation for our arrival. The house was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our whole experience at Hale Lani Lei was amazing! All 6 of our kids loved having enough space to themselves as well as Mom & Dad to have our own retreat away from the kids 😉 They were so accommodating to us and answered a ton of questions I had before and during our stay. The only downfall was there were suppose to be boogie boards at the house but we couldn't find any, so we ended up buying our own and leaving them for the next guests to enjoy😃 We will for sure be back to stay here!

Our whole group of 7 LOVED our stay at this property! The location was perfect, the home was beautiful and spacious, and the staff were very responsive whenever we had questions. It was so nice for all of us to have our own individual rooms, and the common spaces were large enough for our whole group to comfortably relax. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and definitely recommend this house to future groups!

Terrific, big home. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Great, quiet location, steps from Queens Bath trailhead & short distance to Hideaways Beach. Didn't have to worry about anything except have a good time. Book it, you won't be disappointed!

The property manager was very attentive to the few issues that arose and resolved them right away. The only thing I would say was a little hiccup was that the house right next door was under construction and we were not notified. We had an amazing vacation anyway and would definitely vacation here again!

The view is breathtaking over the golf course that is steps away from the property. The home itself was beautifully decorated and in pristine condition, each bedroom was cozy and made me feel so at home. I would definitely, without a doubt rent this property again next time I come to Kauai. Overjoyed with my experience! 10/10

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Princeville residence is a gem! Located in a beautiful neighborhood, this 4 bedroom two story home is nicely appointed and very well maintained. I was hesitant to rent a house for our vacation as I do love a nice hotel, but found that our family really enjoyed the convenience of staying in a house. This allowed everyone to have a place to relax after a day exploring the island and have privacy as well. All you need to bring is your bathing suit and sunscreen! The Coldwell Banker Bali Hai staff was very easy to work with, super friendly and helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time and found our house great. The owner even compensated us because of the new construction that started next door. The view from our deck was breathtaking! The area the house was in was fabulous. My girls and their spouses loved their stay too. We got a little excited when we heard about the new construction but we made the best of it and had so many places to see that we were usually gone during working hours. We would recommend this house to everyone!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great for our group of seven, with plenty of private space for all and a wonderful full kitchen, living and dining room for eating in together. Especially loved the lanai and bbq. Only downsides were ants and high lanai chairs that would dangerously tip you out of them when you stood up from them. Also, front door combo was very difficult to find in Bali Hai app.

Loved the view of the ocean and the mountains. Everything was tastfully finished in the house. There was plenty of towels and beach equipment. There were bikes in the garage that we useful. The wifi was very slow and did not work upstairs. Would rent this house for sure if I return to Kauai.

Aloha! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to our family. We enjoyed the wonderful views and the atmosphere. Mahalo!

The house is in pretty good condition with all the necessary amenities plus its location is ideal. Also, we enjoyed amazing sunsets from the lanai while grilling and relaxing over some nice glasses of wine. We had a small problem with the dishwasher which was promptly taken care of by the property management company.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would like to start by saying that this is the third visit to Kauai by my family. Our first stay was at a hotel which was fine at the time since our children were younger. Second stay was in a condo in Princeville which was very nice, with 2 bedrooms, with our children sharing the second bedroom with twin beds. This stay, hands down, has to be the best stay ever. The house has a master bedroom upstairs which is really rather large with a nice bathroom and ample storage. Our children are both in their early 20's and each had their own bedroom downstairs with their own bathrooms. It doesn't get any better than that. We were able to spend time together upstairs as a family but could also have our own space. The house is very spacious and the décor is up to date, which is a must for me. I felt right at home as soon as I walked in. We were on Kauai for 11 days and ended up eating out only 5 times. We cooked most meals at the house and enjoyed the ability to eat at a relaxing pace and not have to get "cleaned up" and take a drive to eat out. That wasn't our original intention but pretty sure we saved quite a bit by eating in. The one thing that I think is a disservice in the ad is the view from the lanai on the front of the house doesn't truly show off the view. From the pictures you can tell there is a little bit of a view of the water but you can't really see the view of the mountains. That was one of my favorite parts was walking out on the lanai to that view everyday. If you are not familiar with Princeville there is a walkway along the main road coming in that goes alongside a golf course. I quite enjoyed my walks to either the entrance in one direction or to the coast (St Regis) in the other direction. If you decided to walk to the entrance it only takes about 30 minutes walking and there are quite a number of shops, restaurants and grocery store. All in all, this trip and this house rank up there as my favorite vacation.

Fully stocked, with great amenities, including 4 bikes, beach stuff (snorkeling, boogie boards, beach chairs etc),BBQ. TV in each bedroom. Having a computer with WiFi was great. We LOVED the lanai, with its view of the golf course and ocean. The early morning wake up calls from the birds and roosters, was an added bonus!! ;) Would recommend this house to anyone!

The home was cozy, clean and had all the amenities we needed to have an awesome vacation. The descriptions on the site were accurate and we are hopeful to revisit soon. This house will be at the top of our list when we consider our accommodations again. Thanks for the set up.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Hale Lani Lei. We love the Kauaii north coast, and the location and qualities of Hale Lani Lei is very hard to beat. A short drive to Hanalei, with its restaurants and activities. Minutes by bike or car from the St. Regis hotel with its restaurants and awesome little beach. Minutes by walking distance from the magical and unique Queens Bath. The house comes with everything that you'd most likely need (full kitchen, Internet, TVs, washer+dryer, etc.), and the nice property managers quickly arranged for the twin high chairs that we asked for. This house is very professionally managed, and an awesome value for money.

Plenty of space in this well stocked home. The listing is quite accurate. Our 3rd visit to Kauai and so far, the nicest house we have stayed in. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Plenty of beach gear, and even 4 bikes! We enjoyed our morning coffees and dinners on the lanai. There is a high patio table and chair for 4 on the lanai. There is also a 2nd patio set consisting of a sofa and 2 chairs surrounding another table, on the lanai, which was well used by the adults. Made great use of the BBQ. Located in a nice neighbourhood and so close to the Queens Bath. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Very comfy. Easy and straight forward to book, as it is managed by a real estate company that is close by. Would highly recommend this home.

We travelled to the island for a family wedding at the St Regis. This beautiful, well maintained home, was a great fit for our family of 8 adults!! Pictures and description are bang on. The beds are super comfortable, with classy linens. Really great to have WiFi throughout the house. Washer and dryer were an added bonus. Lots of amenities, in the way of beach toys, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, towels and 4 bikes. Quick walk to the trailhead for Queen's Bath. LOVED the lanai, with its beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean. The early morning wake up calls from the roosters and birds was an added bonus! ;) Easy to work with Property Management Company, always accessible, and answered all our questions. Lots of beaches within driving distance, highly recommend car rental, to explore the whole island. Hanalei is a quirky, cool town, with lots of shops, restaurants and beaches. Highly recommend Kauai SkyDiving, we had a blast. Luau Kalamaku in Lihue was a highlight as well. Drove up to Wiamea Canyon, and visited the beaches on the south shore, where the locals go and drive their trucks onto the beach to fish. Saw whales and turtles from the shore. Highly recommend this property for all!!

Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our family with adult children. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The owners also supplied coolers, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, bikes, and beach towels. The Princeville location was great. It was easy to get to the highway to go to the other side of the island, but also just a few miles into Hanalei. It was a perfect vacation rental. We'll be back next year!

My family and I (mom, dad and two adult children in their late 20's) enjoyed this house so much on our Kauai vacation in December 2012. The house was so clean, well decorated and spacious allowing us to have our own rooms and privacy and enjoy spending time together. We cooked in the big kitchen, had meals and read on the patio with an ocean view, and played board games/rode bicycles they provided. It was the perfect house to make us feel at home on the island. It is steps away from Queens Bath where we hiked, a close drive to a market and some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. I wish this was my home! We will definitely be back.
