From this part of Poipu Kai, you can walk toward Poipu Beach Park for swimming and snorkeling or wander over to Brennecke's Beach to watch the bodysurfing waves. Poipu's sunny South Shore setting makes it easy to mix a beach morning with a pool break and still have time for dinner around Koloa. Spouting Horn is a worthwhile short drive for its coastal blowhole and lava shoreline. This neighborhood is especially good for families who want their beach plan close, but not their whole day dictated by it.

Getting around:
Lihue Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, a pretty drive across Kauai's south shore. A rental car is recommended to reach Poipu's beaches, Koloa town's shops, and nearby dining with ease. Old Koloa Town is walkable for boutiques and restaurants, while beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site or in small lots around town.

Excellent Condo!
This space was larger than we expected with large bathrooms, kitchen and common area.
Even though it was on the first floor, we felt very safe and there was good amount of privacy.
AC is only in the bedrooms, so you have to make sure to open all of the windows in the living area and turn on the fans to let the fresh air circulate (especially if someone is sleeping on the pullout couch.)
Pull out couch was very comfortable, with a memory foam mattress.
Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of glasses, cups, plates, and everything in between.
Brand new Washer/Dryer - excellent quality.
Very easy to get to the beach and the small road that you have to cross is extremely quite. 3 great beaches in walkable distance , each with its own "personality".
Keep in mind that the WiFi password is in welcome binder in the kitchen (It was not in the online instructions)
Would return (for the right price...)

This was a great location to stay for our family of 5. It was a 5-10 minute walk to beautiful Poipu beach. Good driving distance to many other activities and food options as well. The hosts were very responsive and kind. Would highly recommend this location.

The place was perfect for me and my family of two kids under 3. There are pool toys, beach chairs, and a cooler to make your pool days and beach days easy and fun. Great location to walk to the beach and restaurant/bar. We loved every moment of our stay!

Not listed are they have beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels available for use as well as snorkel equipment. While I’m more partial to central AC the location was fantastic and totally walkable to the fans provided worked to create our own AC of sorts and the location was easily walkable to the beach. Super convenient to the pool as well. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!
