Work began on August 3 with the 09 stack (Units 109, 209, 309, and 409) and will continue sequentially through the 19 stack (Units 119, 219, 319, and 419).
If the project progresses ahead of schedule, work may also begin on the Bayside stacks (Units 101–108), including:

Through 08 stack: Units 108, 208, 308, and 408
During construction, guests may experience:

Unit was clean and as described. Lovely views, quiet area and perfect for a relaxing trip. Unit is well appointed and relaxing on 4th floor balcony provided amazing sunrise & sunset views. No direct beach access as it is on the rocks. Baby beach is very easy 3-5 minute walk. The location is quiet and ideal, away from people, buildings and businesses of Poipu beach. There is a shopping center very close. Only recommendation would be more comfortable and relaxing balcony furniture.

This was our third time to stay at Kuhio Shores, but our first visit to unit 410. We really appreciated the second bathroom and extra room to spread out. From the 4th floor vantage point, we had a great view of lots of turtles. It was a good spot to watch the surfers, too! We had the most relaxing 2-weeks in always beautiful Kauai.
Kudos to the Vacasa team for quickly replacing the microwave oven the morning after ours blew up! Fast and efficient service.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! It was comfortable and the view was lovely. The only downside was the small hot water heater meant our family had to stagger our showers out so we would all have hot water, but that isn't difficult to do. None of us were ready to leave, and I hope we have the opportunity to come back again one day.

Home location is spectacular, the views just a dream. Can hear the waves crashing, and patio perfect to watch surfers & spear fishers. The actual location is walking distance to baby beach, and is convenient (driving) spot for all the South Island rendezvous. Home is spacious, airy, and yes that shower against the king bed was odd. But island living it is!

Could not have asked for a better location. We will miss the view: catching sight of turtles while having dinner, seeing the surfers wipe out, and of course, the gorgeous sunsets. My only minor gripe would be to have an actual human being we could talk to when we have questions. iI sounded like the Vacasa management group was responding with AI, and they gave us incorrect information about the property amenities.

Plenty of seating, great beds, palm/pineapple carvings on chairs/beds, every need met in kitchen and bath, beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels all available (some in chest on lanai).Wanted to just be there. Area is beautiful water, waves, volcanic rock, and sand. Great location for Waimea Canyon and Allerton Gardens.

Pros: located directly overlooking the beach. Comfortable bed. Good quality sheets and towels. Very quiet and clean.Cons: The master bathroom is a niche in the wall of the bedroom. Shower opens directly into the room. Sink/commode combo is tiny. Barely room to turn around. Bed has huge 4 posters and nearly fill the space. Night time potty includes hitting your head.The kitchen island is too close to the sink, and the fridge door opens in the opposite direction. You have to exit the opposite end, walk around the island in order to open the fridge.The place is crying for a new coat of paint and and refresh. Don’t let this stop you. The pros outweigh the cons.

Left macadamia nuts in cabinet above refrigerator. Vcasa would not contact the owner so that the building super could get them. These items cost me over $100. The incompetence of the Vacasa staff is beyond measure. I will never book anything with them again. I think Vrbo should do the same. Once Vacasa has your money they could care less if you have any problems.

This was the perfect vacation spot! The ocean is the first thing you when you walked in the door! Everything was clean, neat and tidy with plenty of towels for the beach. Beaches, food, fruit stands and adventures were all within walking distance. Listening to the waves while falling asleep every night was an amazing bonus.

Condo was nice and clean and roomy enough for 2 couples. The view from the lanai was perfect. Guaranteed to see turtles. Snorkeling next door is also great with plenty of nice fishes and turtles. There was not much flexibility about check in and check out times but it was not a big issue. We liked our stay and would come back.

Pros:
Massive space with views that just absolutely CANNOT be beat. Had all the beach amenities you need. We saw a turtle in the ocean and watching surfers every night from our condo was so cool and fun. The AC works very very well and each room has its own climate control. Kitchen was fully stocked which is so helpful.
Cons:
When we got there, there was no parking pass and the managers told us to go on a hunt looking in all the drawers and stuff. That isn’t the guests job to go on a manhunt during their vacation for a little piece of paper.
No washer and dryer and one load of laundry will cost you $5.
There was no dish soap. Manager did get it to us 24 hours later.
Coffee pot is super tiny and barely makes 2 cups of coffee. Management should really get a bigger coffee maker for such a nice big condo with 2 rooms. It costs $50 on Amazon, haha.
Overall there were slight inconveniences but the view just can’t be beat and the condo was very comfortable. The pictures on the listing don’t even do it justice. Condo was amazing and we’d stay here again.

Loved the ocean view and sounds from the balcony, overlooking turtles and surfers daily, as well as indirect sunrise and sunset views (if you look towards the left or the right side of balcony, or go downstairs to the grassy shoreline area to enjoy all of it.) Buy your own shower toiletries and dishwasher detergent as very little was provided. 4 beach towels, 2 bogie boards, 4 beach chairs and 1 beach umbrella are provided. Perfect starting mid-point to the Princeville/Hananlei Bay and to Waimea Canyon, but you will need to rent a car to tour Kauai’s beautiful scenery throughout the island.

The kitchen has the basic cooking utensils and dishes along with a good microwave, dishwasher and full stove and oven. It was so wonderful to sit on the lanai to watch the sea turtles and surfers. Those were a great source of entertainment for us. I would recommend this property and would love to come back here again, if possible.

Kuhio Shores 410 exceeded our expectations. The unit was clean and updated. Did I mention the view? From our lanai, we were able to watch the surfers and snorkelers. Best of all, we could see the sea turtles and yellow fish directly below us. The sunset view from the grassy area in front was awesome (a lot of people go to the Beach House for the sunset, but being directly next door, we had that every night.) The parking was very convenient. I can't say enough good things about Kuhio shores and unit 410 was the perfect location for us. Highly Recommend.

The view is amazing. From our patio we watched whales a ways out, turtles eating off rocks in surf, and surfers to the right. Take Binoculars and Coffee. The unit itself was very nice. The only negative for us was the AC was down when we arrived and they got it up for the last night we were there. They did get us portable A/C but they are loud. We managed the windows and it was not bad. All in all a fantastic time.

We would wake up and watch the whales from are lanai. We were also able to see many sea turtles and other sea life without leaving the unit.
