Please Note: Spalling repairs are scheduled from June 23 through approximately August 18. Work on the railings, walkways, and stairways may occur between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. While every effort is made to minimize disruptions, guests may experience construction-related noise during these hours.

I’ve stayed several rooms at the Islander and this one was my favorite . The upgrades make a huge difference to me . Comfortable bed nice furnishings . Tall lanai chairs to see over the banister . The paint color , the crown molding , the art work . I would add some safety bars in the bathroom for the bathtub but I will def stay here again ! Thank you for caring about the details ! Also Daniella the local team manager for Vacasa made all the difference in my stay . Being able to communicate with her directly not guest relations !

The location of this condo is unbeatable, perfectly situated for exploring all of Kauai’s must-visit spots. Its proximity to Coconut Marketplace is a huge plus for grabbing a quick bite after a long day. We loved the condo overall—the view was stunning, and it matched the listing exactly. Our only issue was the number of cockroaches we encountered in the condo. While we understand bugs are common in a tropical area, there were more than expected, and we had to deal with them the first few days.

This was a beautiful unit and the balcony view was incredible. My first thought on entering the unit was "WOW". It was very clean and all I had hoped for. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
Depending on the time of day, parking can be tight but I always found a parking spot. I think that some of he spaces may be being used by people going to the nearby shops and resturants.
I would definitely recommend this unit to others and hope to get a chance to use it again myself if I return to Kauai.

A room with ocean view. Enjoy sunrise from the balcony. Room was clean and the host provided beach towels, cooler, and all basic kitchen necessities like coffee machine, water boiler, plates, bowl, silverware etc.

This property was beautiful. The landscaping was amazing, the room face the ocean which was only about 30 yards away.
We really enjoyed ours stay here. It's a great location in the middle of the eastern coast. It makes it easy to get to the North shore or the South shore as you explore the island.

Very nice property and quiet. Close to a number of restaurants and shops. The only problem was the patio door. It was almost impossible to open so we ended up not locking it during our stay. I did call it into Vacasa. Other then that everything was good.

This place was a great fit for my partner and I. We ate most meals overlooking the ocean from the lanai. There are lots of good options for restaurants and coffee within walking distance from the room and even more with a bicycle or car. And there are basic appliances in the room... coffee maker, blender, microwave, etc. as well as Grill’s located at the pool. The room is located in a hotel with rustic charm, but is privately owned/managed. The pool is pretty small, but we found the ocean perfect for swimming. Only minor complaint is that we could not ever get the wifi or TV to work, but we did not miss it with an ocean view and the sound of the waves.

We really enjoyed our stay in this room. It is accurately described in the ad, very clean and comfortable. Communication with the management company was good and professional. The location is outstanding, with great restaurants and stores for supplies. Our favorite restaurant was the Lava Lava Beach Club, it`s a very short walk from the room. The pool area/bar is nice with a hot tub and a good happy hour. The views and distance to the beach are amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

Loved this condo, the location and especially the view! Couldnt have asked for a better studio to stay for eight days. Clean, stocked, comfortable, with easy parking and access to restaurants, and shopping, this place was great. But, the best part is the lanai and the amazing view. I spent every morning watching the sun rise and enjoying the breeze and the lull of the ocean waves. True relaxation. The surf out front can be rough, but there are plenty of opportunities close by. This place provides everything needed for a lovely stay.

This listing is part of a resort that includes hotel rooms and additional condos that are rented out through them. Islander 250 made us feel VIP, knowing we got a great rate and had one of the best seats in the house! REMEMBER: Upkeep is not through the resort (but they are very accommodating) it is through Hula Now. Minor upkeep issues, short on a couple towels, worn screen, felt a bit stale, but we’ll worth it. Location is excellent for people looking to explore north and south.

Great condo with an ocean view from the balcony! Big comfy bed! Clean and on the 2nd floor. Beautiful complex, conveniently located to stores, restaurants and the 4-mile biking path along the coast! Pool, hot tub and pool bar steps from the condo. The hot tub is ALWAYS full sadly. The only thing lacking were beach chairs...others had written about the lovely beach chairs in this condo, but we had none. It also didn`t have a freezer in the small dorm-sized fridge, which would be nice. But check in was easy and we felt very safe! The AC worked great!

After a long travel we wanted somewhere easy to stay, with a kid who is unsure about literally everything, the beach view with my morning coffee was great and there is a great area for walking a shopping a stones throw away. Cozy spot for the three of us, not sure if you want many more in that space, but just right for us.

We loved the location. and the ambiance
One item you should address is is the extension cords for bed side lighting. Extension cords are a temporary fix not a permanent one. The bathtub drain did'nt work when we tried it , the lever to raise and lower the plug is somehow disconnected and the stopper does not move as designed.These are easy items to address. The amenities were nice, coffee pot, wifi, entrance code, parking. We look forward to returning. This was our first ever VRBO experience so you have established a very positive starting place.in our hearts experience!

This condo is next to the beach, grocery store and misc. shopping nearby, pretty much everything you need during your stay. Bed is comfortable, A/C is quite, and overall the stay was excellent. Only complaint is the mini fridge doesn't have a freezer, but there is an ice machine close by. Recommend booking thru Hulanow which gave outstanding service. Would definitely stay again...

Terrific corner unit, perfect for 3 days! The location was super-convenient with shopping and restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and whales in the distance everyday from the lanai. The room was cozy, comfortable and perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay here again. The management kindly let us check in a little earlier and were quick to respond to our request to do so (since our flight got in earlier than expected).

We had a great time. The room was literally 2 minutes from the beach. And one of those minutes was just walking down the stairs. Class access to Lava Lava Restaurant and the Coconut Market area too. The property is well kept, the hot tub is drained every day, and the combination of shaded and sunny space at the pool were perfect for an afternoon of lounging. Our room had everything we needed, including beach towels and the robes we nice after a shower when it was too hot to get dressed yet.

You can not beat this rental! Best value! Not only is it the ideal location on the island - 10min drive from the airport, central as in 1hr drive north 1hr drive south and you see almost the entire island. But also ideal location within Wailua- right behind the coconut marketplace, walking distance to 10’s of delicious restaurants and nice shops. Many of our excursions left near walking distance of our place so we did not have to rent a car for the entire time. The location of the room itself is also ideal- top floor, nice and quiet corner room, and can not beat the ocean view! Will 100% be staying again!

My family of 7 adults rented 4 different units here while waiting for another condo in Poipu to open. We were only here for 3 days but we all agreed we would come again and stay longer. This unit #354 was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) but was a corner unit and was very private and had a beautiful view of the water. I had a wonderful sunrise every morning while enjoying my coffee. Went to bed every night with the door open, listening to the waves.
We were within steps of the beach, enjoyed sitting in the shade with the provided chairs. Within steps of the pool with plenty of lounge chairs.
Went to eat breakfast and dinner at Lava Lava, within steps of the Islander. Had fantastic food, remember to make reservations. Enjoyed one night at the Tiki Bar at the Islander, great place to get to know other vacationers.
This unit was stocked with everything you need. No stove or oven but within walking distance of a small market that you can pick up items to microwave.

We really enjoyed our stay in this room. It is accurately described in the ad, very clean and comfortable. Communication with the management company was good and professional. The location is outstanding, with great restaurants and stores for supplies. Our favorite restaurant was the Lava Lava Beach Club, it`s a very short walk from the room. The pool area/bar is nice with a hot tub and a good happy hour. The views and distance to the beach are amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

Loved this condo, the location and especially the view! Couldnt have asked for a better studio to stay for eight days. Clean, stocked, comfortable, with easy parking and access to restaurants, and shopping, this place was great. But, the best part is the lanai and the amazing view. I spent every morning watching the sun rise and enjoying the breeze and the lull of the ocean waves. True relaxation. The surf out front can be rough, but there are plenty of opportunities close by. This place provides everything needed for a lovely stay.

I enjoyed my stay. The access to the beach and the lanai were my favorite. I just wish the air conditioner cooled better. There were a few times in the evenings that it was cooler on the lanai than in the room. Other than that everything was just as described.

Awesome unit and amazing location! However, there were 2 minor issues that we experienced. We arrived after the 3pm check in time and the housekeeper was still there making the bed. She did not have the comforter/bed covering with her, so she had to leave the unit to go and get it from her vehicle or laundry. This took her another 20+ minutes to complete. So we had to leave the front door open until she returned and we waited on the lanai.
Upon entering the unit, we noticed a large fan on the dining table, telling us that the ac doesn't work properly. While the unit is ocean front and normally there would be good trade winds, but this weekend there was no breeze and it was humid. Leaving the lanai door open was not an option. So if you are looking for good and comfortable ac, this is not the unit. I did email the on island property manager but didn't get a response. Not a huge deal, but it does make a difference. Also, know that guests of this unit are NOT allowed to use the hotels laundry machines.
Like I said, these were minor things that do make a difference. We would definitely stay here again with hopes that the ac is working better.

Second time we`ve stayed at the Ashton Islander. We love the central location on the Island, allowing you to explore either the North or South shore with a shorter drive, or stay local in Kapaa. The property is clean and well maintained. We love the tiki bar after dinner at Lava Lava. Decided to get a room closer to the water and 250 fit the bill. Nice ocean breeze at night to enjoy the sound of the surf. Check in and out were very simple, room was simple but clean with everything you need for your stay. Would definitely stay here again.

we went to Kawai to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The location was central on the island and very convenient. Parking was easy. The unit was clean comfortable. The view the water was amazing.
