It is a good property to stay. Comfortable for family
Vinay S. · Dec 2025
It is a good property to stay. Comfortable for family of 4. A bit older but reasonably well maintained. There are a few things that need to be updated though like the living room sofa. Great view from the balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Very close to grocery store and nice restaurants. The beach on the northern side behind the coconut market place is more open/better for watching the sunrise and only a few steps from the back of the property. It is a gated community and parking was not an issue.
You really do t want to experience what I went through getting wrong codes wrong building and suite number it was fucking exhaus

The property was amazing but I got no codes that were wrong

Laura K. · Sep 2025
What a beautiful property! The unit itself is a bit dated inside, but clean and comfortable. The location is walkable to the coconut market, restaurants, several beaches and even the wailua river. We spent the most time at the beach directly in front of the unit. Will return.

Rebecca · Jul 2025
We stayed at Lae Nani 326 in June 2025. The location is great both with respect to the Coconut Marketplace and Lae Nani beach. The shower in the non-primary bathroom is janky and difficult to use. The exterior locks are a huge potential safety concern which I do not want to expand on for the safety of those staying there but please be sure to check it out for yourself and report it if you agree. The unit had two beach chairs, a few boogie boards and a few sand toys while we were there. No cooler.
Excellent, excellent!
Julia M. · Feb 2025
This is a beautiful, comfortable condo with lots of amenities. The view from the balcony was lovely and the grounds and pool, also. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Kitchen was well- appointed. Lots of towels.

One of the most comfortable places we have stayed at. Beds are exceptionally comfortable. Balcony provides lovely view of surf and surf sounds heard always. Clean, well-equipped
The view and the amenities were terrific. We enjoyed the patio very much.

Beautiful view and property
Gerry · Oct 2024
We really enjoyed the lanai every morning for breakfast, the view of the ocean and mountains is great. The unit is comfortable, but it doesn't have AC. The bedrooms are in the back, there's little breeze that makes it back there. They have lots of portable fans, but a couple of evenings it was pretty stuffy sleeping.
They had towels, chairs, a cooler and other things for the beach and other adventures around the island.
Comfortable value
Karl · Oct 2024
The view. Easy walking distance to other amenities!
Great condo, would recommend
sylvia s. · Oct 2024
I would highly recommend this condo, great location and near stores and restaurants. Beautiful views from the lanai. The only reason I gave the online listing a 4 instead of a 5,is that I asked about beach equipment, primarily a beach umbrella.Mgt kept saying they were not sure and what you see is what they have, they did not seem to know that in the storage closet (kind of hidden) on the lanai they have everything you could possible want for the beach.
I just wish the condo Mgt would have known as well and I could have saved the $30.00 I spent on a umbrella. I asked for a credit but they denied me.
Place was clean and kitchen well stocked.
More than Excellent

One thing the rental instructions from Vacassa do not mention that you can not leave towels on the Lanai Railing. We received a nasty note with no warning. Great location in Kapaa which is very centrally located. Plenty to do in walking distance.

The location was convenient to walk to restaurants, ABC or the beach. The beds were comfortable and clean. View from the balcony couldn’t have been more beautiful. Location was great for driving north or south, too. I’d book here again next time. Had everything we needed for a day at the beach or cooking at the condo. Pool was nice, too. Grounds peaceful and pretty.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was an extra bonus to be invited to use the beach equipment. The location is within walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace and other restaurants. I would just recommended including the pool and gate codes somewhere, but the person in the office was happy to supply these.

The unit we stayed in was great! Thanks for providing beach chairs, sunscreen, beach umbrella, beach towels, and boogie boards…that was a nice surprise! The view was amazing from our balcony and the grounds were beautiful!! Coming from humid and hot Iowa we thought we’d be miserable without A/C but the fans and the ocean breezes through our windows made the unit quite comfortable. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Great Location
Francis · Apr 2019
Our family enjoyed the gated location and the somewhat private beach (as there is public access path). The landscape was kept in pristine condition. The staff was friendly. We found the location to be quite central to all the places a family would want to explore and was close to the airport. The Coconut Market Place was a five minute walk away for shopping and food.
Amazing view and wonderful complex
Laura E. · Apr 2019
We were very, very happy with our stay. The unit had a great layout for out family of four and we never wanted to leave the lanai with the view and ocean sounds. The grounds are meticulously maintained (outstanding really) and the pool was perfect with it's own view. Of course the beach right outside the complex was a huge plus, along with the wading pool for kids (and adults for a quick dip). Our few complaints were that the kitchen really needed updating on supplies (old pots, pans, miss-matching dishes, no spatula, broken can opener.) But the view while working in the kitchen was almost better than the patio. Hard to complain there! The master bed needs to be updated too...a bit of a taco situation for my husband and I. Never less, we would re-book with the value we got here and the overall experience.
Fantastic location!
Amy R. · Apr 2019
We enjoyed our time here! The view from the balcony was just lovely to wake to each morning. We traveled with our two teens but this would also be a perfect location for younger children. I will say the condo is definitely looking tired and could use a refresh but the location and view surpass this minor detail. We would definitely stay here again! And one more thing...we were a little hesitant to stay in a condo with no A/C but it wasn’t a problem at all.
Wonderful unit in a fabulous place

Wonderful family location
Heather J. · Sep 2018
Property and condo were clean and beautiful. Size was perfect for our family of four. The grounds are great for kids to run around on and the small beach is perfect for playing, boogie boarding, snorkeling for little kids, but not great for sandcastles. We were able to walk to so many places for dinner or breakfast. Lava Lava Beach Club is right next door, super easy for any meal. Also; Brick Oven Pizza was great, Street Burger was a great burger place, and Kintaro is good japanese. Side note for Kintaro: if you have kids and want to eat early or if you don't want to wait you need to be there before they open the doors at 5:30, however they do not start hibachi until 6 but will seat earlier for it (it's definitely a hot spot for tourists and locals). Coconut Marketplace was in the process of expanding while we were there but there is a market and ABC store and a variety of typical Hawaiian clothing and gift stores. Seems like there will be more restaurants there soon. Foodland and Safeway are just down the road and great shave ice in Kapaa.
If you are traveling with kids check first on what is available in the unit, there was no mention of baby/kid supplies so we rented stuff. But when we were there the unit had a pack n play and a booster seat with tray. And if you have a baby in a pack n play the closet in the master bedroom is big enough for the pack n play which was great for us! Also kids float toys and beach toys, we left a kids boogie board. If you do need to rent kids gear Kauai Baby Gear Rentals was easy and affordable with clean, nice products.
Overall we were so happy with Lae Nani and would definitely stay there again! With kids I would try to find a ground floor unit because it's nice for kids to run around on the lawn and not worry about stairs but at the same time we were very please with unit 326. Highly recommended!!

We were very happy with our rental. It was very convenient to the pool and the beach. A short walk to Lava Lava restaurant (which was good for lunch, but not so much for dinner). The VaCasa office woman with I communicated prior to our arrival was very responsive and helpful. The unit had everything we needed.

Perfect Kapaa apartment
Virginia · Apr 2018
We were here the weekend of the historic Kauai rainstorm and still had a great time. The apartment is spotless and kept in great shape. Our bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the parking was easy. Great breeze so we never felt hot. Check in and out was easy. The unit has a lovely view of the ocean and was a great place to watch the fabulous lightening that accompanied the massive thunderstorm that struck Kauai in April. The Vacasa agent was even kind enough to call us to make sure we were unaffected by the storm. Highly recommend the apartment and Vacasa.
Lae Nani is the best!
Apr 2018
Lae Nani is a wonderful place to stay on Kauai. This was our fourth time staying there, and probably won't be the last. The beaches right in front of the complex, and just to the north and south, are all wonderful, with the best sand we have found anywhere -- I think it's ground up coral. There is a lava rock enclosed pool, no more than a few feet deep, which is perfect for little ones (and for others when the seas are rough). The grounds are immaculately maintained, and the gardens are stunning - truly. Unit #326 is great for small families, and offers a wonderful view over the grounds and Wailua Bay. We prefer this building (#3) to buildings 1 or 2, because it's a bit removed from the pool noise. And we prefer Kapa'a to other areas on the island, because it's about halfway between the ends of the road traveling either north or south. Also, it's close to the airport, but not so close that there's any noise from the planes. As always, we had a great time at Lae Nani, and would recommend it highly.
