Description

Mauna Lani condo with waterfall pool, hot tub & tennis court

Space

This condo in the beautiful Mauna Lani area will almost make you want to stay in for a day. Enjoy every amenity in this multi-story condo including A/C, a great lanai, and an in-house washer/dryer. Don't forget to take advantage of the community features, which may include a dip in the pool (featuring a small waterfall), a soak in the hot tub, or a game of tennis on the nearby courts.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Grab a morning cup of coffee and set out on the beach path just outside of the community, and you'll be on the sand after an easy walk. For an all-encompassing day, consider taking Pauoa Road north about a mile to the Fairmont Orchid where you can enjoy snorkeling in the lagoon, get a spa treatment, or sip a sunset drink at Luana Lounge. If it's time for a break from the sun, the Shops At Mauna Lani are less than a mile away. There, you can shop at Tommy Bahama (and dine there as well), grab a few groceries at Foodland Farms, rent water gear at Snorkel Bob's, or enjoy some local coffee at Kimo Bean.

We had a wonderful second stay at the condo in the Palm Villas, enjoying the sunsets, pool, and snorkeling nearby. Can't wait come back again.

Relaxing and a beautiful place

Cheryl Y. · Apr 2025

Property was great. Well stocked kitchen and the condo was in a great location. Could use two more beach chairs. One was broken and the condo had only three, and we had a party of 4. Otherwise, would rent again.

Great location

June B. · Mar 2025

Quiet, only a mile walk to the beach (or you can drive right to it with the club pass), and plenty of room. Second level living gave great breezes through the condo so AC wasn't necessary. Perfect. Little picky things are that the BBQ from the downstairs rental is stinky, the loft blinds rattle in the breeze and the blinds in the spare bedroom downstairs won't stay up. Read up on how to operate a Schlage doorknob lock before you go. Instructions are provided just look for the link.

Fantastic spot!

Benjamin · Jun 2024

My family of 5 was so comfortable here! We loved the pool and awesome sunset views from our balcony. We used the grill multiple times. The unit came with 3 beach chairs, 1 working umbrella, 2 boogie boards, and 7-8 noodles. The kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of cooking utensils, pans, Tupperware, papertowels, dish soap, and dishwasher pods. The laundry was also stocked with detergent, which was super convenient. Beds and furniture were all comfortable. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home!

My family of five had an amazing stay at Mauna Lani H22. The house is situated on a gorgeous property, the views were amazing, the trade winds lulled us to sleep (never used the a/c) and the sunsets were outstanding. The house has tons of extras that we took full advantage of too - Tupperware, coolers, beach chairs, noodles, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and there were even a few pairs of ocean shoes (I also left one behind to share). I would definitely recommend this house and would go back in a sec!! It was aloha paradise!

This place had everything we could need or want. Well-stocked kitchen with basic spices so that we could eat in. Ideal for 4 adults.

Fantastic rental for my family

Warren G. · Jul 2023

Perfect location to the Beach Club, everything you need to cook a meal for your family on the stove or on the bbq grill outside. Even had chairs and umbrellas to use at the Beach Club because the cabanas are reserved pretty early. I will definitely inquire to stay here again when I'm in the area.

Fantastic rental for my family

Fabulous Villa

Chris · May 2023

We were so happy with our stay at Palm Villas. The condo is perfect for a family stay. It is beautifully decorated and has everything to make your vacation wonderful. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and nice bedding. It has a wonderful floor plan with lots of room. The central air conditioning is a plus. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the evenings for a beautiful sunset! The garage is fully stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, etc. The condo is in a perfect location for heading out to the walking trails, access to the pool, or a short drive to the beach club. We definitely will be back. The only recommendation I would have is the carpet could really stand to be cleaned and the kitchen needs gone through and organized. Overall though everything else was very clean and well stocked. We were very impressed with Vacasa and their communication and quick response to any need we had! Thank you

Lovely stay

Julie L. · May 2023

Beautiful little enclave lush with vegetation, flowers and birds. Very comfortable and roomy condo. Nice layout. Really in need of new carpeting/ flooring though. Loved the small beach you can walk to. Great beach for snorkeling. Lovely pool/hot tub. Two of the most spectacular beaches just a short ( 5 min) drive North on the highway. Mauni Lani Resort very nice as well. Great outdoor restaurant on the property with fabulous food and sunsets. Highly recommend.

Perfect location to explore Hawaii

Chrissa · Mar 2023

The condo layout is perfect with three bedrooms (one is a large private loft) and two baths was perfect for us. The access to the Mauna Lani beach club had some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever experienced. From here you can explore North Kohala for ranches and horse riding, Hilo is about an hour drive with its beautiful gardens and waterfalls, farther on is Volcano National Park and south is Kona with shops, restaurants and boat trips. Winter is humpback whale season and we had lots of whale sitings off shore along the coast. The condo is well appointed with all the necessary kitchen tools you need for cooking. The garage has room for one car and has lots of gear for beach activities. There’s an extra parking pass if you have more than one car. Be sure to read the resort rules and don’t leave towels out bathing suits to dry outdoors on the lanai. The local agent Stasha was wonderfully responsive when we had questions. If you’re interested in a private hula lesson that supports local Hawaiian culture and community check out: https://www.pulamanaliko.org/

We enjoyed our stay

SIMON PIERRE G. · Feb 2023

We loved the property and the location. We loved the private beach club with the cabanas and loungers and the lovely pool area! We loved the provided beach chairs, sand toys for the kids, coolers and umbrellas. We loved the bbq and enjoyed many meals on the lanai. The place was very nice and clean and even came with very nice Hawaiian treats which we thought was a really nice touch! The kitchen had lots of pots and pans plates and cutlery but almost no mixing bowls or Tupperware or places to save leftovers or things to pack food in to the beach but overall still nice. A few other little things to make this an even better stay would be a water cooler with a 5 gallon jug of water as we found the water to be not very tasteful and had to buy water. There was 1 glass for each person so we ended up buying some plastic cups we could bring down to the pool area and beach. The fridge was not working when we arrived but they were excellent and brought us coolers and ice for the first day and we had a rental fridge the next day so that was a bit of a headache at first but all worked out in the end. Overall, we had an amazing time and the place was perfect for our family of 6. We would recommend this place.

The Mauna Lani resort grounds are gorgeous. You never need to leave. We met friendly neighbors who were helpful, the home itself was gorgeous and well-appointed. Everything you needed for a day at the beach or pool was provided for you. We could live there!

Best part of our trip!

We had the best time staying here. The property was immaculate and the views were amazing. The location was also great. We could walk to the beach from the condo. We will be staying here again next time we visit the Big Island.

Nice condo

Karen Y. · Aug 2021

Our family of four stayed here for five days, and the place was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we appreciated the use of the beach chairs, beach umbrella and boogie boards. We had some issues with the guest bathroom off of the kitchen, but the property manager was very prompt in addressing the problems. We liked the location of the condo and made use of the pool and beach club. Definitely will return on our next trip to the big island of hawaii.

Great stay for a family of five!

Hubert · Jul 2021

This was our first stop during our two-week vacation in Hawaii (Big Island and Oahu). The location was perfect for our family with two young kids. We definitely took advantage of the on-property amenities, access to the beach club, and the overall convenience of being central to everything in the area. The place itself was also perfect with ample space not to mention the boogie boards, beach chairs, etc in the garage. Highly recommend!

Stayed with my youngest brother family (4 Adults / 2 kids). They have all the beach stuff that we needed. Condo was large for everyone to get some private time. They went the extra mile to address an allergy concern. Already planning our next stay here.

Perfect Condo for our vacation

Allen G. · May 2021

Our family celebrated birthdays and the general opening up of the economy on the Big Island at Puako. We visited the volcano, several different beaches, waterfalls and went scuba or snorkeling almost every day. This perfect condo was outstanding as home base. Additionally, we cooked "at home" almost every night as restaurant occupancy was still limited. The barbeque and the kitchen were well equipped to accommodate our needs, and we enjoyed having our meals out on the lanai. We had plenty of room for everyone and were able to relax whenever we had a moment. We truly enjoyed our stay.

H22 is an amazing condo in Palm Villas complex, within easy walking distance of the beach. Access to the beach club was included, handy for driving down if we wanted to spend the day at the beach and take a lot of stuff. The condo was very well equipped, clean and spacious and Elizabeth, the local agent was very helpful. We would definitely recommend Palm villas for a great vacation.
