This rental unit and grounds were beautiful! The location is perfect, walking distance to the King’s and Queen’s marketplace for shopping and a short walk to A-Bay. The golf course and sunset views were amazing. There was plenty of room for all guests and the layout was done well. The tasteful Hawaiian themed decor added to the dream vacation feel. Can’t wait to go back!

**Five Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**
We had the most wonderful stay at this condo in Waikoloa Beach! It was the perfect home base for our family of four during our trip to the Big Island for my little sister’s wedding in Kona. The condo was incredibly clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed—from beach towels and chairs to a fully equipped kitchen.
The location was ideal—peaceful and relaxing, but close enough to drive to the wedding festivities in Kona. We especially loved the nearby beach, scenic walking paths, and local shops. It was great to come back to such a comfortable place at the end of each day.
Mahalo to our hosts for making our stay so memorable—we’ll definitely be back!

This is our second visit to the Fairway Villas in Waikoloa so we were familiar with the area - it is walking distance to shopping and restaurants and most beaches are within a 15 minutes drive. This unit is one of the best stocked vacation homes we've ever been to. The place was clean and all the beds were comfortable. We loved all the beach gear and used it every day. The property management company was very responsive and helpful.

We’ve stayed in rentals at fairway villas at least 4 times. You can’t beat the location and rental amenities. This unit was well stocked with beach gear. We loved the bigger unit, plenty of room for our family. I shagged at least a dozen golf balls as it’s about 180 yards off of a par 5 tee box on the right. I especially enjoy fairway villas grilling area, as there’s always a working grill with natural gas hookup. Very close to the king shops, we’d walk there regularly. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
Fantastic stay on the big island

This place was wonderful! 7-10 min walk to a great beach. 5 min walk to grocery stores. Close to Kona-related activities and activities north of Kona. Kitchen had everything we needed; snorkeling gear worked well. Just perfect.

Love the Fairway Villas at Waikaloa, this was our first time in a three bedroom and were not disappointed. Having three separate rooms with bathrooms is nice for a long stay and my adult daughters loved it. This our 7th time staying at the location and love the area with the King and Queens accommodations that are an easy walk to.

Great Rental
Jessica K. · Jul 2022
This rental offered fantastic amenities for our family vacation. The space was very comfortable and everyone slept well. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked to get us started. The hosts provided a wonderful array of beach towels, chairs, and toys to take with us on outings.
Prior to our visit I was able to communicate with Vacasa staff regarding questions. Responses were generally prompt and very helpful. Access to the rental was easy and communication came through the Vacasa app and text message.
Two of the days that we were on site the complex was doing tree trimming near the rental and parking was limited. Signs were posted to give warning and we were able to find parking closer to the entrance of the development.
This rental was within walking distance of many stores, restaurants, and resorts. Larger grocery stores were a short drive from the complex.
The pool and spa were beautiful. The pool area closes at 9:00pm and complex staff were friendly when informing people of the closing time.
We traveled with two families (4 adults and two children) and we were very comfortable. We would consider staying here again.

Amy H. · Jun 2022
We really enjoyed everything about this property. It was spacious, well appointed, and decorated tastefully. We had plenty of room for our group of five adults and one kid. There is a grassy area in front of the outdoor patio behind the golf fairway that our child loved to play on in the mornings and we would watch the sunset on in the evenings. The kitchen had more than enough utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, cups, plates, and even Tupperware. We weren't missing anything. With the A/C and fans in the property it was a very comfortable temperature. The pool was close by, big, warm and looked out on the golf course fairway. It even opens early (7AM) which is nice for families with young kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Niki · Jan 2021
Loved this spot! Super clean, comfy and spacious. It was incredibly easy for 5 of us to all work remotely for a week - very fast internet speed (like 200-300 MBPS) and lots of places to escape to for meetings. Walking distance to great grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop, beach and bar. Kitchen had everything you’d need. Great pool & hot tub. Fitness center was just OK, equipment kinda old. Tons of beach toys and gear included! Management was very kind and helpful, offered texting with the local manager which made things very easy. Great deck overlooking hole #4 on the golf course (but beware of flying golf balls when out on the deck!). Can’t wait to go back.

Spent a week here on a “staycation.” We live on the other side of the island. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. The unit is well equipped with gear for a beach or pool day, and is set up in the perfect location. The views of the nene every morning and evening along the golf course was just an added bonus. We will definitely be back for our next staycation. The unit is perfectly located to anything you may need. I don’t know what else to say other than we love it and regretted not making the trip longer than one week.

Unfortunately, we had to cut our vacation short because of happenings back home with the Coronavirus. But, up until then, our stay was great.
Condo was fully loaded with beach items (towels, umbrella(s), chairs, etc.), kitchen utensils, and needs to make the condo feel like home (cable, games, books, etc.).
The patio furniture was used daily to watch golfers, birds, or to simply enjoy a cup of coffee.
Great Time!

Very well supplied unit: snorkel equip, beach- chairs, -umbrellas, -towels, and boogie boards. Adequate supplies of kitchenware. Microwave was new and great! Stove top temp control was difficult to work with, oven would not consistently work get above 379 deg. Ice maker virtually inop and we had to make ice in shallow plates. Cleanliness was okay. Location of unit is the best in Fairway Villas!

The location was great, close to the Hapuna beach, 10 mins driving, the closeness to a sand beach was very important for us. The Condominium has everything you need for a very nice stay. It has items to enjoy the beach, the proximity to the swimming pool was great, we also BBQ in the complex. Walking distance to a supermarket and nice malls. The only thing was that in busy days it is difficult to find a parking space, it will be nice that the condominium has its own parking space available. The condominium was very comfortable, the rooms were great and you can find all items to cook, kitchen with great equipment

Exceeded my expectations
Judith S. · Nov 2019
I would not say this is a five star place but it is solid and we were happy with everything. Sometimes rentals are not clean. . This unit was clean and fit our needs perfectly. We used the kitchen and everything was fine. Loved being on hole #4 and the convenience of stopping in to refill water bottles. (Beware there is NO water on the beach course. That’s just wrong. ). The addition of hand towels in the bathrooms would be appreciated.
We didn’t use the beds other than the master (which seemed ok), nor the pool but it looked nice. I think we were there during a quiet period, which was nice but I would bet parking is an issue. We only used a visitor spot to park but the directions are unclear; they said we have a dedicated parking spot but only park in visitor or non-resident spot. Confusing but it worked out for us.
Just all around a great trip.

This VRBO rental was perfect for our family vacation. We had ages ranging from a 2 year old to an octogenarian and the place was perfect for everyone. The place had all the beach toys and amenities we could ever need, had an ironing board and iron for when we dressed up to go to a luau, and a washing machine and dryer for doing a couple of loads of laundry before moving on to our next destination.
Two small suggestions: a round cookie sheet for cooking pizzas in the oven, and all new spices (the spices in the rack are well past their 'best by' date).
Thanks for everything.

An absolute perfect villa! We arrived on the Big Island after visiting two other islands and we Immediately fell in love with the space and the villa. What an amazingly decorated home and a perfect location. We’ve stayed in Waikoloa Village before but this villa surpassed the Hilton Village. We love the private laundry, kitchen, community pool, the extremely close location to Kings and Queens Village for food and shopping. With five people, it was far more luxurious to any hotel. Since we could not get a single room for five for the ages, it was more economical. I will not only stay in the Villas but will look specifically for #J6!

We were so impressed with not only the quality and cleanliness of the home, but with the huge size of it! We had 4 adults and 2 kids with us, and could have fit two more adults in the single beds (the kids wound up sharing the sleeper sofa). The whole thing felt very open and left plenty of room to relax. (And the tempurpedic mattress in the master suite didn't hurt!!) There was also a closet FULL of boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkel gear... fully loaded! Great home, great location, great vacation!

Beautiful large condo with everything we needed
Barbara S. · Oct 2017
The condo is close to everything and we loved the golfing!
Large and well maintained property!
Warren F. · Oct 2017
We had a family celebration at this Fairways Villas property for just about 5 1/2 weeks from mid July to the end of August 2017. My wife and I had a few days alone, then entertained first 5 folks, then 4, then 3 and finally 2, each for a week on their own and leaving us one week to recover. The condo was equipped to handle all those loads very well. Appliances are in good condition, entry closet has lots of ocean gear, and managers Heidi, Lauri and Faith were responsive, efficient and professional. Would do it there again easy!
Excellent property, close to shopping and centrally located to Kona side of island
Curtis T. · Jun 2017
My family had a wonderful time! The condo was a nice, spacious 3 bedroom unit right next to golf course and 2 nice shopping malls. About a 10-15 min walk to the beach. We BBQd on one of the complex's Weber gas grills, and used the snorkel, body boards and beach equipment provided by the unit. Heidi was always very responsive to our needs. Our first time on the big island and we used our rental car a lot more than on Maui. We were able to see the Volcano lava flows into the ocean at night on the Hilo side (we booked one night at Volcano house). Would definitely stay at Heidi's condo in the future!
Beautiful spacious condo; great golf
steven g. · Apr 2017
We've stayed at other condos in the Fairway Villas and this by far is the nicest. With 4 adults and 2 grand kids, everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The unit has been renovated with a wonderful kitchen and everything was clean and organized. Some minor inconveniences: no potholders or soft scrub in the kitchen and no soap for the showers. The unit has a wonderful view of the golf course, like and Kings shopping center. There are tons of beach gear, including chairs, snorkeling gear, and towels for everyone. For golfers, the membership at the Waikoloa golf courses with the reduced green fees is a tremendous bonus!
Loved it!
Jennifer G. · Mar 2017
We loved the condo! It was beautifully decorated, lots of space for the five of us to enjoy some meals together and watch TV, but also enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their privacy too. Tons of beach gear. Great pool, spa, grill area and gym too. I looked everywhere through the kitchen drawers, but could not find a potholder or cork screw - seems like two things that should be in every kitchen - but definitely didn't ruin the vacation - I only mention it in case the owner would like to add those two things - maybe they were there the entire time, but not obvious to me. The only negative thing I can say is that we had trouble finding parking in the evening. This condo does not come with an assigned space and we could only park in a space that did not say "reserved" and in this complex it seemed like 95% of the spaces say "reserved." On one occasion we had to park as far away as you can get from the condo. On two other nights, after stressing about it the entire drive back from what we were doing, we got lucky and found probably the last remaining space. But the condo itself was beautiful and we loved it.
Spacious Condo
Irene F. · Sep 2016
The condo was big and spacious, easily accommodating 7. Waking distance to the market and other shops. We took advantage of the pool, grilling, and exercise. Better than the convenience of home!
Thanks to the Owners for providing the amenities!
Beautiful condo in a beautiful location
Jenny C. · Aug 2016
Beautiful condo, couldn't have asked for more! Very nice home right on the golf course. Tons of space for everyone, laundry, close to the pool, wifi, close to BEAUTIFUL beaches. It's really close to the Hilton which was fun to take advantage of their amenities as well. And the owners have thought of everything you might need - beach towels, cooler, snorkeling gear, chairs, you name it.
Paradise not lost here!
Robert H. · May 2016
Our two retired couple's stay in J6 was more than we could have hoped for. We came to the Big Island for the wedding of our nephew at Lava Lava Beach Club and were looking for a close-by, non-hotel, location. J6 very much met our expectations.
Views from the downstairs living / kitchen area are of the 4th hole of the Beach golf course and we enjoyed watching the occasional golfers each morning as we sat on the lanai for breakfast.
Large upstair master king bedroom features views of the golf course, lake and Kings shop area and has a large bath/shower area with double sinks and enormous walk-in closet. Other upstairs queen bedroom had its own bathroom and was very quiet. Downstairs bedroom with 2 twin beds would be great for kids and has a bathroom in the hall for their use.
There is more than enough snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. It was nice to be near the pool and hot tub (one unit/building removed) and we used the pool adjacent outdoor BBQ. Kitchen has the basic cooking needs. Big plus was the very efficient air conditioning that took the edge off the sometime humid mid to late afternoon weather.
Would definitely stay here again as we found the condo to be very clean and well maintained. Heidi was very helpful though the entire booking process and really appreciated all her help with check-in instructions, etc. Our week in Hawaii was very enjoyable and much of it had to do with this condo, it's location and outstanding amenities.
Excellent place and location
Inder M. · Apr 2016
This unit is very nice, overlooking the lake (manmade) and golf course. The space is very well laid out, lots of good utensils and beach stuff in the apartment, and very well organized. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the master bath/walkin closet is a pleasure to use. We had a great time at the place, walked to the beaches nearby, or drove to the beaches up North (mainly Hapuna and Beach 69).
The only constructive suggestion is for the people coming to bring their own cooking basics if you like cooking (like oil, salt, pepper). The place does not come stocked with that. The Island Gourmet store is walking distance and open till 10 or 11 pm, but expensive. If you plan to hit Costco or Foodland then you should remember to pick these ingredients up.
There were a lot of DVDs, games and books - though we were out so much, we did not really take use of it.
This is one of the BEST apartments in this entire complex of Fairway Villas.
Great location.
Kandyce S. · Apr 2016
We are 2 active retired couples who have been renting vacation properties for 5 years and this condo is one of the best we've stayed in. Loved being able to walk to Kings and Queens shops and A beach. Don't miss Lava Lava Beach Club. We like to cook "at home" and the kitchen was well appointed...made cooking a joy. Just close enough to pool to be handy but never heard any noise. And something that we don't always find...living area was very comfy. Would do it again in a heart beat! Thank you Heidi!
Great place to stay!!~!

This villa was the perfect place for our family to stay. The villa was clean, well appointed and had all the kitchen, and beach tools for our needs. The beach towels, chairs and umbrella came in very handy for our beach days. The grounds of the Fairway villas are beautiful with nice walking paths around the place and also close to King and Queen's shops and the beach. Our family will be back very soon.
Many thanks to Heidi!!! She was quick to respond to our emails and was extremely helpful and easy to work with.

We had an amazing time. The view was perfect, the location was exactly what we needed, and Heidi was so responsive and easy to work with. The home was way above what we expected and were very pleased when we arrived with how well it was stocked.
Great Rental!
Jolene D. · Jul 2015
The location for the Town home was great as we needed to go back and forth from Kona to Waimea. It was very comfortable for our family of 6. The unit was clean, well-stocked and quiet. All of the beds were very comfortable and the view from the lanai was beautiful. Booking a reservation was very simple and Heidi was quick to respond to any questions including adding of an additional night at the last minute. Although we did not get the chance to enjoy the pool the location of the unit was within close proximity to the pool. We will definitely recommend this property to friends and family and look forward to staying again in the future.
Gorgeous and quiet vacation paradise
Anya Z. · May 2015
This town home feels like a full house and was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. Heidi was great with all the arrangements and with stopping by to show us how to keep the windows sealed when running the AC. The unit is far from the main road and has a view on the lake/pond on the other side of which is the peaceful (fancy) King's shop area, and gives onto a golf course, making for quiet, traffic free nights. The pool is 1 building away--very close to access but far enough to not get the water voices of children. The infinity pool and lava rock-surrounded hot tub are spacious and gorgeous. The beach on A bay exceeded our expectations and I saw a very nice diversity of fish and turtles when snorkeling. We also enjoyed hiking North along the coastal trail (don't miss the dolphin pool at the Hilton--there are bottle-nosed Atlantic dolphins there with trainers and paying guests in the water), up past ancient Hawaiian home foundations and on to a grey-black sand beach and, eventually the Mauna Lani Beach Club. Right near this unit to the East, there are also ancient petroglyphs.
The J6 unit has some beach chairs and toys, a good supply of towels, small luxuries like different firmnesses of pillows, and a lovely blooming arbor over the lanai. We certainly plan to return. We had a perfect vacation.
Fabulous family retreat
Kim D. · Apr 2015
We enjoyed our stay at the villa, quiet, well stocked and furnished for 6...it met all of our expectations! Great location, within walking distance to the Queen and Kings shops, and a 2 minute drive to A Bay and the Lava Lava Beach Club (best happy hour!) We also enjoyed daily excursions to places up and down the coast, all within 1 1/2 drive. We especially appreciated Heidi's prompt attention via email to all of our questions and quick and courteous repair after an issue with the dishwasher. I would definitely recommend this place to others, and consider returning again in the near future!
2nd stay here
Eve B. · Feb 2015
We have just completed our 2nd stay at Fairway villa J6. This is a lovely, large unit in a prime location. We found it well stocked in the kitchen, loved that there was even a rice cooker! (No coffee grinder). Also provided are beach chairs and toys. The beds are comfortable with quality linens. The only things that would enhance this nice property would maybe refreshing the paint and wallpaper and definitely upgrading the wifi. We bring our laptops to keep up with work and use Netflix for the kids, the wifi kept cutting out. Working with Heidi is always easy and pleasant.
Girls Trip Dream Come True!

Myself, and two recently divorced girlfriends decided we needed a break from life. This condo couldn't have bee more perfect! Great beach equipment, chairs and lots of toys. Within walking distance to all shopping (Kings and Queens shops), as well as restaurants. We did end up having some issues with the A/C but it was resolved quickly. Any questions we had they responded to very quickly. Without hesitation I'd stay here again. In fact we tried to for next Christmas but they're booked. :(
A Family Reunion in Paradise
Destinea S. · Nov 2014
We had a family reunioun in Hawaii and decided to stay at Fairway Villas. What a great decision. It was perfectly located to shopping and beach and all kinds of fun activities so satisfy all kinds of desires for a Hawaiian vacation. My family we had our children with and renting the condo provided such a luxury with the children. The pool was lovely and clean and peaceful, plus the outside grill area so we could fix dinners at home everynight. The condo itself was so nice and fresh, we all had enough space to not feel like we were on top of eachother. The only thing was that there was not enough beach equipment for our BIG family but we made due since everything else was so great. We highly recommend Fairway and will hopefully return in the near future.
Great condo for large family!

We stayed in this condo in June and had a wonderful time! There were eight of us in our group and there was room for all. The golfing is fabulous and the location is walkable to many restaurants, markets and shopping. I would recommend this clean and spacious condo to anyone.
Wonderful Townhouse in Waikaloa
Fiona C. · Aug 2013
We stayed at this townhouse for one week - a family of 4, 2 kids aged 8 and 10. This unit is very clean, stocked with everything you need and has the added extras of beach chairs, and beach toys in the storage cupboard. The pool area is close as well as the BBQ's. Backing onto the golf course as idyllic. It was an easy walk to the shops and super close to A bay - one of our favourite beaches. All in all this was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in through vrbo.
Great Location! Well maintained and clean...We LOVED our stay and plan to return next year.
Oct 2012
My husband and I rented Lindas Condo for 1 1/2 weeks along with our 1 1/2 year old daughter and another couple. Before arriving Linda made sure that the crib was set up, the air condition was on and there were beverages in the refrigerator (even asking if I would need milk for the baby since we were getting in so late).
Upon arriving we were amazed at how great the location is. When we were there the weather was amazing and not to hot. The upstairs bedrooms both have fans so we were able to keep the conditioner off at times and enjoy the fresh ocean air.
When we first walked in we were taken back by the decor in old Hawaiian style and charm. The home is very inviting, warm and comfortable. Being very close to all the shops, restaurants and hotels, we were able to walk to everything. We enjoyed having meals in the lanai with beautiful views of the golf coarse and lake. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom and were very surprised as to how comfortable the bed was (I struggle with insomnia and found the bed very easy to sleep in). Our guests were in the second bedroom upstairs and they said their bed was also comfy.
We ventured all over the island and since Linda keeps ample ice chests and snorkel gear in the home we didn't need to purchase these items. It was nice to be able to do some laundry, so we were able to pack light (this is great when you have a kid). We really liked the layout of the home with the open kitchen and living room, this made it very easy to enjoy our down time, meals and family time at the home.
There was a small issue of the upstairs toilet running. Linda was on this immediately and sent her handy man over to fix it the next day. She was very concerned with our comfort and asked if there was anything else that needing fixing. This just confirmed to me that she does her best to keep this "vacation rental" up to par and her guests as comfortable as possible.
I've already notified Linda that we will be returning next year with our same guests. We all had such a wonderful stay and have so much more of the big island to explore...
Our wonderful stay in Paradise
Ian C. · Jul 2011
We just got back to Maui after our awesome 6 night vacation on Da Big Island. We stayed at this beautifully appointed place at the Fairway Villas, with our 2 kids and a newborn, and we had plenty of room to spare. We felt right at home, and way more relaxed than if we were at a big hotel. The owner had so much Aloha and she bent over backwards to take care of us. The place was immaculate, and peaceful. We loved the community pool and used it every day, after the beach which is close by. Check out the Marriott nearby and Roy's Restaurant. The room rate was very reasonable. We highly recommend this place! Aloha!!
Great Place
Nov 2010
We spent a week the last of September in Linda's condo. Her pictures and description of the condo accurate and were exactly what we found upon arrival. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We spent many hours on the lanai -- in the mornings before the sun hit us. Ate meals there everyday. Loved watching the golfers -- had two golf ball hit the lanai. The shops were great for all our needs. We didn't use much of the beach stuff but was thankful that it was there. This was our 4th trip to the Big Island and Linda's condo suited us perfectly. Much better than staying at the Hilton. Linda is a very delightful lady and I enjoyed our talks. No complaints here. We will not doubt plan another trip there next year. A big "Thanks" to you, Linda
Beautiful condo
Simon A. · Sep 2010
I recently stayed in Linda's beautiful 2-storey condo with my partner and 8-year old son. The condo was perfect for our needs - spotlessly clean, spacious, well-equipped, and located within walking distance to the shops, (great) beach and other resort amenities. The condo is also conveniently located almost next to the infinity swimming pool, barbeque and fitness facilities. There are TV's in all three bedrooms, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom in the spacious master suite. Linda also provides beach towels, snorkel equipment and boogie boards, as well as board games to keep the kids occupied. The resort itself was great, with good shops and restaurant facilities, and with easy access to the beautiful beach and coastline.
Beautiful Place! Photos dont do justice.
Jul 2010
Such a great place to stay. The Villa is just beautiful, granite everywhere, spotless, on the golf course, with beautiful landscaping. My wife and i stayed with our 5 month old son for 10 days and we just loved it. Linda even had a play pin delivered for our son to stay in. THe closet was full of beach stuff, snorkels, umbrellas, beach mats, beach shoes.... We were able to walk to starbucks every morning and even to the beach a few times. With all our stuff it was easier to drive though. We went to many beaches, north and south and still found that "A" beach was our favorite. The closest beach was the greatest!
After our visit I too am looking to buy a place in Waikoloa. What a beautiful vacation!!!! Thank you Linda.

Exceptional value on this immaculate vacation paradise
Jun 2010
This was our first time to Hawaii, and staying at your beautifully appointed condo made the experience exceptional. It was conveniently located for our day trips to other parts of the island (including Hapuna Beach, Hawi, Kapoho tidepools -- amazing!) and had all the amenities to make our vacation perfect: beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, games, and books. Top that off with a fully equipped kitchen and generously sized rooms, we really felt spoiled. You have wonderful attention to detail. The condo and surrounding community was private, quiet, and peaceful. This place was the best, and we would love to come back!
