Property is very pristine and beautiful. Kitchen is fully equipped. Loved the extras like beach chairs, umbrellas & ice chest. My only suggestion is to add a note in the rule book on how to engage/disengage Dead bolt on the door lock. 24 hour support had no clue and were not very helpful. I will stay here again.

Kim J. · Feb 2026
We loved everything about this condo and it was very comfortable. I’ve already reviewed this once and the only thing I would suggest, and this has nothing to do with the condo itself, is that the complex heat the pool. I also loved that there were two recliners in the living room! Kitchen was well stocked. The Ahualoa chocolate Mac nuts prompted me to go to the store in Honoka’a and get some to bring home even though I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any on this trip. That was a GREAT treat to leave in the condo. I would absolutely stay here again.

Kimberly · Jun 2025
This home was so clean when we arrived. The location was perfect. Directly across from the pool and so close to everything in the Waikoloa Beach area. It was also very peaceful and quiet. There was a great selection of equipment, including boogie boards, beach chairs and golf clubs. We had a wonderful trip.
Great Condo for Island Adventures.
Sean · May 2025
This is a fabulous condo in the Colony Villas with everything you need for your island adventure. We were two adults but the condo could very easily accommodate another two people. We appreciated all of the beach gear (chairs, umbrella and cooler) and lots of beach/pool towels. The condo is well stocked with all the things you’d need, plenty of plates and glasses and small appliances. It has a beautiful downstairs lanai that overlooks the golf course we had many dinners outside watching the sun go down. The pool is right across the street from the unit and is beautiful and well maintained. I would not hesitate to stay here again. For anyone unfamiliar with the area it is about a 15 minute walk to the Hilton and 25 minutes to the Marriott hotel and a quick 5 min drive to the beach.
Great memories
Aleksandr · May 2025
We liked gated quiet and relatively small community with great amenities such as pool, outdoor dining area, gym, tennis court. Convinient location, just 4min drive to ªAnaeho ªomalu Beach. Close by shopping center with restaurants. The home was well taken care and big enough for 5-6 people, though we had only 4 in our family. There was everything we need to have a fun at the beach.
Great property in amazing location
Aleksandr G. · May 2025
Not too far from Kona airport. Well kept landscaping and pool area. Clean and neat rooms. We had minor problems with downstairs bedroom ceiling fan. It was fixed in timely manner. Friendly and communicative staff members. Quite and eye pleasing community. We would definitely come back here again. I would suggest to clean AC vents in living room as it accumulated some dust. Maybe to update bath and beach towels.
Spacious and easy!
Wendy · Apr 2025
This is a great condo for a small family or two couples. We found it clean, comfortable, and well-appointed in every way. The location is excellent (I could do an early morning walk to A bay -- about a mile away -- for a swim while the rest of the family slept in, then easily drive to any part of the island for a day's adventure. I especially appreciated that this condo is so well stocked: spices for cooking, great cookware, a grill you can use at the nearby pool - plus beach chairs, fins, reef shoes, boogie boards and a cooler. Very clean, and the onsite management team was responsive the one time we needed them.
The Colonies Villa
Mary · Apr 2025
We loved the openness of the unit, the small outside patio with table, the wide expanse of grass and being right beside the golf course, the pool and hot tub.
The unit was also in a great location for access to shopping, beaches and restaurants.
The week went by too quickly and we would have loved to have had another week or two to totally unwind and relax.
Thanks for the welcoming gifts and helping to provide us with a great holiday in the sun, surf and sand!

The Perfect Space for a Family Vacay!
Kyla · Jan 2025
Travelled with extended family who booked a neighbouring unit, we are a family of four with kids aged 13 and 8. We were absolutely delighted with this condo rental! Our flight was delayed and the Vacasa team was extremely responsive. Gate and door codes were very easy to find, directions to the condo were good, and the location couldn’t be beaten - right across from the pool and tennis court!
This was the perfect space for our first family vacation to Hawaii, 10/10 recommendations for anyone looking for a clean, quiet and beautiful place to stay!

Nina F. · Jul 2024
We loved the unit; spacious , clean and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and beautiful beach 15 mins away. We had a small issue with a blind and James the maintenance guy came out and fixed it swiftly. The only things that may need looking at are: dishwasher first clean too well and the tv downstairs was tricky to figure out. But overall, it was a beautiful place would return to this lovely home.

This condo was actually better than expected. The additional beach gear was very useful and the overall setting of the accommodations made this a high rating. Vacasa came through in the way they interacted and kept up with questions about our needs. The cleaning crew is to be recognized for their thoroughness. Overall a great vacation. Thanks

Kimberly · Apr 2023
The condo was very clean and inviting. It's very spacious and has everything you'll need. The kitchen was fairly well stocked and the washer and dryer was great. We enjoyed eating meals at the table on the patio. The pool was just a few steps from the condo which was very convenient. We loved that the condo included beach chairs, boogie boards, a sun umbrella and beach toys. We were a little hot at night since we weren't allowed to turn the AC down as much as we wanted. The location wasn't our favorite as it seemed a little removed from everything, but overall, we loved our stay!
Waikoloa Colony Villa
Sammye · Mar 2023
Strengths: Great location, clean, close to pool, well appointed with beach gear and kitchen utensils. Property management was easy to work with, check-in and check-out was seamless.
Areas for improvement: Furnishings could use updating, especially in living room. Only one parking space.
Great condo!
Celeste P. · Feb 2023
The condo was beautifully decorated and up-to-date. It was very clean.
The kitchen, laundry, bedrooms and bathrooms were stocked with all the necessities of a home away from home. Some surprise bonuses that came in handy were various sized ice coolers, beach chairs, 2 sets of golf clubs, multiple boogie boards and snorkel gear. We didn't take advantage of all of it but it was nice to have it available.
The management staff was locally available, which was much appreciated. I've stayed at places where this was not the case and communicating to someone in a different time zone is challenging. So I appreciate having someone available to address concerns promptly.
I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a 2 bed/2 bath condo in Waikaloa.

A short Drive to beaches but a walk to golf.
Great unit for a family of four!
Garth N. · May 2022
We really enjoyed our stay here! During previous visits to Hawaii we've booked hotels on the beach and the four of us have shared one room. Now that the kids are older we've decided we want more space; so instead of being right on a beach we've committed to driving to a beach each morning during our stay.
This place worked great for that strategy; and it's so close to the pool/jacuzzi that it was easy to get in some pool time after a day of touring.
It should be noted that it is NOT easy to walk to a beach from this unit. In fact, there is not that much near the unit, period; so going for a walk, say after dinner, is not all that attractive. There IS a grocery store and mall nearby, maybe a five minute drive, so that was great.

Clean and comfortable Villa. Nice quiet location away form noisy resorts. Only a few steps to pool. 5 minutes from beach & shopping/restaurants. Newer beach chairs. Vacasa sent over a new beach umbrella within 30 minutes of my texting them. water dispenser on fridge a money saver vs. buying bottled water. Would stay here again.
Nice and clean townhouse
Chi · Jan 2022
A beautiful townhouse sitting within a mega resort area. It is next to a golf course. It is within walking distance to Buddha Point (the ocean front) and the Queen's Marketplace. The famous Hapuna beach is 15 minutes away by car. The place is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. If I have to pick something, the shower waterflow at the upper floor bathroom is a bit weak, especially when the washer is running. All in all a nice place to stay.

We’ve visited multiple condos over the years in Waikoloa, Hawaii. I have boys that can eat and a husband who loves to cook. We were
Very impressed on the array of kitchen appliances, tools, and gadgets this condo made available for us. The quality of dishes were very nice that made every meal special. The type of furniture, appliances, down to the quality of towels provided were not “cheaply” made compared to other condos. You can really feel that the attention to details put on this condo was created to make every visitors feel welcome and comfortable. The condo staff made the experience very special and personable. The commutation prior to our check- in was clear and timely making sure that our first day will not be a chaotic one. LOL. Our overall experience defines what ALOHA truly means. Thank you!

Happy Hawaiian Stay
Anne K. · Feb 2019
Very clean condo especially kitchen. Kitchen has a Keurig and even a rice cooker. The furniture is very comfortable and we loved the recliners. It’s a quiet neighborhood and low street lighting means you can see all the stars even walking to the pool and hot tub which is conveniently across the street. Condo location in building 13 is hard to find especially if you arrive in after nightfall. There’s handy coolers, beach chairs/umbrellas/boogie boards, tennis rackets and even golf clubs in the laundry closet closet of the condo. Our family includes two kids under 10 and they loved the Waikoloa Colony Villas especially on the day the wild goats were grazing on the bushes in front of the Villas gate!!

Nice condo in Waikoloa Hawaii
John · Feb 2019
This is a very nice condo in one of the best condo developments in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Every room has been freshly painted and the kitchen is complete with every item you would ever need on a long vacation! There is also a brand new refrigerator in the kitchen. We enjoyed being near the pool and the gym. The pictures and reviews are right on the money. We would stay here again in a minute, but the new rates are out of our price range.

Very Happy. The townhouse was clean, comfortable, and well equipped.
CLEAN, CONVENIENT, SPACIOUS!!!
Christine L. · Aug 2018
My family & I stayed at this condo for 4 glorious days & LOVED IT!!! We had a family wedding to attend up in Kamuela & a rehearsal dinner in Kailua-Kona...the location fit our needs perfectly! (Two couple occupancy in this 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo gave us enough space for individual privacy & intimate dinners)
Several other family members rented units at the same property but I believe our unit superseded in luxury décor, high-end furnishings AND it was located directly across the pool/hot tub!
Shopping, dining & the market were in close proximity...just a few minutes drive. The condo is close to many local beaches (I'm a local girl, lol) & fully equipped with many useful beach accessories (i.e. beach chairs, swimming tubes, scuba gear, boogie boards, etc.) which was an added bonus.
I look forward to our next stay at this unit (I definitely saved the direct booking information).

Clean and cozy condo at Waikoloa
Marika K. · Jul 2018
We enjoyed our stay at this clean and well kept property. Kitchen has everything you need and all the dishes, amenities seems like new. Washing machine was very useful and all the boards, water toys & beach chairs were super handy to have. Location was great too even if we spend most of the time exploring the island.

Wonderful condo in Paradise

This condo is an excellent value in a wonderful location. It is very accommodating and is just paces from the main pool and hot tub. It has beautiful golf course views and is a short walk to the courses for golfers. You can leave your clubs there if you are playing multiple rounds. The Hilton hotel is a comfortably short walk away. Many options for beaches, food and entertainment.

Beautiful condo in a beautiful place!

This condo was exactly what the pictures show and well stocked with a lot of the items you need. Having beach chairs, beach umbrella and boogie boards to use made going to the beach much easier. We took our 19 month old and the stairs were a challenge but the condo is in a great location with a large grassy area she could play in and very close to the pool.

Waikoloa Colony Villas 1306 Review
Ray S. · Jan 2017
Excellent two-bedroom townhouse. Booking the place was fast and easy, with excellent communication from Heidi Bogart (property manager). There were a few glitches, but were easily resolved by Heidi. We especially liked the full-sized washer/dryer (not the small stack-up models common in other places), french-door refrigerator and upgraded cable TV system, including Showtime. The facility was well-organized, clean and had no evidence of bugs. The location of the facility was great, as we spent most of the time golfing in Waikoloa, Mauna Lani, Kona and Waimea - with an occasional trip on Saddle Road to Hilo. (Our son needed to get a loco moco fix at Cafe 100 and Zippys.) We frequently come back to the Big Island for family vacations and will definitely like to come back to this condo.
Big Island Summer
Jul 2016
My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful first trip to the big island due in large part to the great experience we had at the villa. I've convinced my wife condo rentals are the way to go vs. hotels, this trip sealed the deal. I could not stand the thought of spending 9 days in a hotel room. My daughter loved having her own bed/bathroom and spreading out on the king size bed. My wife and I enjoyed the upper level "master suite" with walk in closet. Nice to unpack and have room to spread out. The Keurig in the kitchen was nice if you're used to brewing your coffee that way. A reusable filter pod is available so you can enjoy the ever-present Kona coffee whenever the urge for a cup may arise. Quick tip: food is expensive, after picking up our rental car we drove straight to Costco to pick up essentials (bottled water, cereal, wine, chips, etc) and saved a ton of $. Target and Walmart also near to Costco. Recommend as there is little for groceries near the villa. Closest grocery store is in Queens Market (1mi.), but expect to pay top dollar for the convenience. Great beaches are close (15 min. to Hapuna, Beach 69) with amazing snorkeling @ Beach 69. Heidi was easy to contact and very nice allowing us to check-in a couple hours early. Overall a really great family vacation with wonderful memories we'll be able to share for a lifetime. The villa was the icing on the cake.
Pros:
+ Unit in excellent condition, spacious, great layout and quiet.
+ Extremely close to pool/hot tub.
+ Open kitchen, well stocked.
+ All the beach gear you'll need; chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and beach towels.
+ Lava Lava Beach Club
+ Great location, short drives to everything in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area.
Cons:
- Garage is small. Rented an Hyundai Sonata and it barely fit, I found it easiest to back in. Had to pull out for others to get in. No way Mustang, Jeep or full sized car would fit.
- After the first day you'll be trying to figure out how to extend your vacation.
Fantastic Experience

My husband and I spent a wonderful week over New Years in this beautiful villa. I can't think of a more magical spot to celebrate the new year. We have completely fallen in love with the Island and left thinking there is so much more we wanted to do. We stayed very busy while we were there and had just settled in to full relaxation mode when it was time to leave. The villa was very conducive to this. We were completely comfortable and felt like we were home. The unit is lovely and beautifully decorated. It is spacious and filled with light. Both King size beds were very comfortable and there was a great pillow selection. All the towels and linen seemed brand new and were plentiful. The kitchen is fully stocked and has all modern conveniences including a top of the line new refrigerator. There is a lanai off the upstairs bedroom and a large porch off the dining room. We especially enjoyed this and sat out each morning drinking coffee and watching the birds. My grandchildren loved running around on the grassy lawn. The pool was directly across the street. The location is perfect. There are lots of walking paths and shopping near by. And, of course, the magnificent ocean! We liked Hapuna Beach and spent a lot of time on the beach and cove at the nearby Fairmont resort where we snorkeled and went paddle boarding. Our favorite activities were taking a long day trip to Volcano Park and hiking into the Pulu Valley. Breathtaking views and waterfalls along the way.
I have to mention Heidi Bogart, the booking agent and property manager. I had a good feeling about her from our first correspondence and my instincts proved to be correct. She is highly responsive, professional and very pleasant. She and the property owners were quick to correct anything we asked. This includes bringing us a brand new refrigerator on New Years Eve and a $75 gift certificate to a local restaurant for our inconvenience. We would definitely book this unit again with her. I give my highest recommendation.
Early Dec 2015

My wife and I recently spent 5 days at 776710, Waikoloa Colony Villas (home just yesterday, Dec 7). The condo had recently been painted and was exceptionally clean and bright. Kitchen, with island layout, granite counter tops is very functional and well equipped, with appliances and utensils that appeared to be mostly new. Better, if not the best, of any condo we have stayed at over the years. One bedroom and large bathroom on upper floor and second bedroom and full bath on main floor makes unit very suitable for family or two couples. The patio door, and smallish lanai look out on to green space, landscaping and golf course. They face more or less west, so some very stunning skies as sun was setting. Lanai is relatively private from other's, and was quiet during our stay. With table and 4 chairs, all meals at condo were outside.
Attached garage is a little snug for getting car in and out, but useful for unloading and loading suitcases. The unit has one designated parking stall as well, which we used other than the above noted activities.
We did not use the on site pool, tennis court or fitness room, but they also appeared clean and well kept.
The area has lots to offer, with beautiful beaches 10 minutes away by car, funky Hawi 30 - 40 minutes away (really good Sat market), hiking into Pololu Valley not far from Hawi. Beach chairs, some beach toys and insulated soft cooler pack that are there were great for taking refreshments to beach.
We meet with Heidi one afternoon, she is very accommodating and good to work with. We most certainly would recommend her to find your Waikoloa vacation stay, and would recommend this unit to friends and family.
