We have stayed at the Shores around 5 times. The property is beautiful as well as the pool. The fitness center is a huge plus. The location is great for accessing Hapuna Beach. 3 of our favorite restaurants are within 30 minutes. Check out Canoehouse, Merriman's, and Pueo's. This condo supplied Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs, umbrella, boogie board and cooler. That is a HUGE bonus!

We stayed at The Shores 338 for ten nights and totally enjoyed it. The location was perfect to get to any side of the island or anyplace you would want to go. All the amenities that were provided were so much more than anyplace we have ever rented before. All the beach items you could need from towels, chairs, umbrella and cooler. Inside the condo the kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, glasses etc. plenty of paper towels, dish towels, soap etc. The bed was very comfortable and lots of towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo etc. We spent most mornings and every night on the lanai. This was furnished very nice and comfortable. We never even sat in the living room!!
The grounds are beautiful and so well taken care of. We saw staff cleaning the wonderful BBQ grills everyday and the pool was lovely.
If you are looking for a very relaxing, quiet, place to stay that is close to everything and well stocked and taken care of, this is the place for you!!

We had a nice stay in #338 at the Shores. This unit is well located in the Waikoloa area. It's a roomy one bedroom unit. They had some extras that may not be available in other units, like ice chests, beach chairs, kitchen supplies, puzzles, and other small stuff that made it more home like than a typical condo rental.

Condo was clean and in good shape. Hawaii weather means that most condos are slightly run down. Not this one. It was well maintained and it great shape. Walk across the golf course and you'll be at the malls where there are a lot of food options in about 10 minutes. Overall, great stay!

The Shores is an excellent gated community with beautifully landscaped grounds. The lanai/balcony was very spacious and positioned to allow us to eat all our meals outside, covered for protection from direct sun. There was a selection of beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, thermos water jug, a bit of snorkel gear and a boogie board. These additional items were very much appreciated and used. The unit is very spacious and comfortable for two. It is within easy walking distance to a beautiful beach. It is also close to the Hilton Waikoloa Village where my partner attended a conference. I would recommend going to the larger grocery store in Waikoloa Village for more selection. We would definitely return to this unit!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Unit 338 for our one week stay. The unit was very nicely furnished, well stocked for us from soaps, paper goods, kitchen ware, and even items to use for the beach! We LOVED the corner lanai and used every seating set on it. The pool and complex grounds were also so lovely. We were very comfortable for the entire week! Having the condo complex in the Waikoloa Beach area was very convenient for food shopping, dining out, and beach access.

Large, roomy open spaces with lots of ambient light! We turned off the A/C and opened all the windows, and the cool evening breeze along with the ceiling fan made for great sleeping. The Lenai is really spacious and makes an awesome place to enjoy coffee and breakfast. The grills are close, clean, and easy to use. The reserved parking space is very nice.

The unit was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. Sifting through all the fees, it's about 50% of the cost of the Hilton down the road- not including the money we saved by cooking our meals on site. It's maybe just under a half mile walk to a perfect lava rock bench for a panoramic oceanside sunset view.
The one time that we called Heidi, she picked up on the first ring and was polite and attentive. If any of my friends wanted input about Hawaii, I'd send them to this exact unit. I just hope it's available the next time my wife and I come back.

Our accommodations at The Shores was a well decorated comfortable condo with ample space and a lovely balcony/patio. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere in the evenings when we could sit on the balcony and admire the well-manicured property and the star-filled sky. Having a washer and dryer in the unit along with a full kitchen came in very handy. The complex has a centrally located pool and spa and 2 very scenic golf courses. It was nice to have several shops and restaurants close by and we made good use of those amenities. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at The Shores and hope to make it back there in the future.
I would add that the location is ideal for walking to the Hilton and the Marriott beaches and bars and had we wanted to, Roy's and the Lava Lava Beach Club. The fact that there is a 'discount' on the local golf is an added bonus. It's close enough, too, for trips to helicopter tour, drive to Mauna Kea, and the fabulous local beaches. Having beach towels and chairs for the guests to use? BONUS! I would heartily recommend this place to others and echo the comment that we would definitely consider staying here again, next time! It was really hard to tear ourselves away from the place.

Big Island was fantastic, a lot of different landscapes and scenic highlights.
The condo was spacious, clean, quiet - perfect for us. Also the surroundigs were great.

Stayed in this unit for 2 weeks. While the unit is somewhat dated, it is in good condition and spacious for two people. The fans and air conditioning worked great, the shaded lanai was appreciated every day, and the king bed very comfortable. Heidi was very responsive & supportive during our stay. The location is very convenient for exploring the Kohala Coast and other parts of the island.. We recommend this unit and will be back!

We stayed in this unit for two weeks. It was clean, had plenty of towels and quiet. The weather was perfect for us, we didn't need to use the AC at all and love sleeping in open air. The lanai is in the shade all day so that helped with coolness also.
We definitely will return, the management was very good.

Great in every way. The location is excellent - Waikoloa/Kohala area is the best. Great for walking, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The condo is super quiet, light and airy, a/c works great (you'll need it in the summer). The king size bed was excellent - feels brand new, the shower is wonderful . . .
We had a small problem with the a/c and the manager had someone there in under an hour to fix it. We will definitely recommend this unit to family and friends and look forward to returning.

Everyone likes a little slice of paradise, whether it's miles of desolate white - sand beaches or acres of rolling, untouched countryside. My idea of Paradise is HAWAII! My daugther and I were blessed and lucky to find a hidden gem on the big island - The Waikoloa Colony Villas on the sunny Kohala Coast. Our villa was everything we expected and hoped for!! The place was clean and VERY quiet! I'll never forget the feeling of waking up in this condo. The silence, the sunrise, the beautiful view of lava and golf course and the taste of fresh, ripe Hawaiian papaya. The price is extremely reasonable and the place is worth every single penny. The villa is located 15 min. away from our favorite place on earth- The Mauna Kea Beach and Hotel. The beach here is magnificent. We had a chance to swim with sea turtles and hundreds of beautiful fish. We would never stay anywhere else on the Big Island. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity! Can't wait for our next visit!! Mahalo! The Belghit family
